Playing with poison(Cosmos)

watching him, she followed him with her eyes as he left. once he left sight, she coughed up the miasma that was unable to be changed by her arcane magics. as the creatures circled around her, one of the largest ones walked up to her. placing a claw on its head, it growled happily. "sick him," she said, understanding the rules of Nature. within seconds of the words, the creatures instantly burst into a run, chasing after the young dragon, their nature making them hunt until they die, or they feast on the prey.

As Jalon was heading through the forest he kept having this feeling something wouldn't be right, that something was bound to happen. And as he was coming to another clearing he could hear the sounds of running and the growling, the same ones of the dark creatures that had tried to attack him before. I'll bet this dragoness has something to do with those creatures, it's just too convienant they'd suddenly just come after me.,He thought to himself before lunging upwards while flapping his wings to swiftly avoid the creatures when one came inches from grabbing him and looking back.

At this point he sometimes wished he could use the more powerful aspects of his elements, but he couldn't yet. He was still learning it and could only rely on his combat skills and basic Poison attacks to help. With a low growl Jalon swooped down and began attacking the creatures in return, grunting when he felt a scratch or nip, but never allowing them to take a crippling attack to him. If it wasn't his teeth, claws, and tails that slashed them the poison in each tip often injected a powerful killing poison to quickly take them out or weaken them enough.

But one did eventually slice a part of his side that made Jalon snarl, the blood landing upon the creatures and also was naturally infused with a more minor poison that only would make the creatures sick or back off from a nasty taste. With this wound Jalon decided to cut his losses and quickly flew up above the trees and headed towards an outcropping of rock where he could look over this gash in his side.

smelling the blood on the air, she could hear the loud roaring of the creatures as they licked at the blood and obtain the unbreakable scent. jumping up, she spread her wings and flew above the trees. watching the young dragon, she could smell that he was wounded. watching the creatures run through the forest, she watched as how Jalon would deal with their blood-seeking hunger.

If things couldn't be worse for Jalon his partial blindness made it hard to see from the sides of his sight and only able to somewhat more clearly straight ahead. All his other senses though were far more heightened to make up for this little setback and he could hear the faint sound of wings flapping and the creatures trying to follow him from below. He continued to fly swiftly, still keeping ahead of the creatures thanks to his speed and finally reached a high enough place it was steep and difficult to reach him unless these creatures had wings. It was here he landed to get his bearings and think of a new plan.

watching the creatures claw their way slowly up the mountain, not even the sheer mountainside seemed to stop them fully. flying closer, she hovered close to the ledge that Jalon was on. "now do you see? this is the Survival of the Fittest in action, the pure basest form of it," she spoke loudly, as the sound of claws scraping stone grew.

Jalon briefly glared towards the dragoness when she came closer, "You sure I'm the monster here?"He growled at her, he had merely killed a youngling deer to eat but he wasn't sending dark creatures after anyone like she had. Her point was taken but that wouldn't change who he was, he just was one of those you couldn't change in the near future or at all. "No matter how bare you can making that point that will never change my view nor my actions."He added before using his poison breathe upon the creatures and forcing them down back to the ground and showing he was far from being defeated yet.

He also then felt the brief swipe of a claw near his right and was quick to jump back before lunging forward to fly over their heads and keeping out of reach. Looking towards the dragoness that seemed filled with arcane energy he merely flapped his wings, "If your done sicking your creatures upon me than you can leave. I merely ended up here by mistake, if you have issues with how I hunt and live than that's your problem."He spoke to her, turning his back to this female who obviously didn't get the fact just because he was younger and smaller didn't mean he would give into her opinions.

"you think i am controlling them? you really are too young to understand," she spoke, then used her magic once more. as a wave of energy spread out from her once again, she form faded and she appeared behind him. grabbing the back of his neck with her hind claw, she used her other hind claw to place a binding spell on his wings. descending closer to the ground, she dropped him in the middle of the creatures. as they ran towards him, she cast her spell on them once again, as they halted in their tracks, just snarling, snapping, and growling at Jalon.

Jalon snarled a she was prevented from using his wings, turning in the spot as the creatures tried to get to him but couldn't due to her spell. But he was beginning to have no doubts she'd allow these dark creatures to kill him if she wished, "Then your influencing them somehow otherwise they'd have gone after you again as well."He snapped at her but his anger was beginning to grow enough he was trying to think of how to get out of this situation.

"i am influencing them, by limiting their primal instincts. its the same thing i used on your wings," she spoke, coming closer to the ground. landing, she waved her wing-claw at the creatures, who then seemed to become confused. sniffing around as they growled, they ran off as a ripple seemed to pass through the air.

Watching the dark creatures run off Jalon turned his attention back to the dragoness, trying to hold back every fiber of his being of wanting to attack her in retaliation for this. "Seems pretty wicked yourself, like I said I doubt I'm the monster at the moment."He growled at her, and glancing back at his wings. "Now release my wings so I can get off this dump of an island."

shaking her head, she looked at him. "i would so i can be away from you, but i can't. body sealing is complex, and it will be a few hours for it to fade," she said, turning away from him. as she began to walk, she looked to the sky as a storm began to form.

"Just perfect,"Jalon grumbled in frustration, turning his back to her as well and ignoring the storm that was beginning to arrive. If this was the case he'd have no choice but to wait and so he decided to head off and find a place for shelter and so he could look at the gash in his side which had scabbed over by now and was now a minor throbbing pain compared to a bit earlier. One thing was for sure he'd look forward into the coming months that he might finally get a growth spurt and become stronger instead of worrying about a situation like this again.

jumping up into the sky, she flew towards the ruined temple as rain began to fall. landing on the steps to the temple, she made her way into the foyer of the temple. after looking around and finding nothing of interest, she laid in the center of the foyer, knowing that she would be going anywhere until the storm has passed.
