Finalizing the Training

[Ixion]

In the side of the mountain a hammering could be heard. Inside the cave a pair of opened doors led further to a blistering forge where lightning struck the walls time to time. As the hammering continued one would see a purple dragoness in a kin form hammering at a sword. Nearby a wolf-kin could be seen examining her work as a panther-kin was working on a molding for another blade.

With a sigh the dragoness sat the lightning infused blade next to 3 others as she smiled at the wolf-kin "Are all 8 blades necessary to become a blade master?"

["Cosmos"]

sighing after she finished examining the works, the feral-looking Wolf-kin straightened her body. "no, they aren't necessary. but we aren't in the north, so we don't have the luxury of the trials that i had to go through. this is just the start," Fenrir said, as she heard the faint skittering of a small insect. turning towards the door, she saw the spider-like creature crawl across the wall towards her. placing her hand up, the spider dropped from the ceiling and landed in her palm. hearing its clicking noises, she nodded. "thank you, little one," she said, as it jumped off her hand and ran out of the forge chamber.

In the back the panther-kin tipped a thing of melted steel into the indenture and slide it along and moved to the next as he began to melt and fan the metal "To me this heat is a blessing rather than the frozen north." he said remembering the icy storms that blew through the airs."

Trish looked at the Panther-kin and back to Vulpini "What about his special blade? I thought we were going to keep the Thunder-forge a secret?" she asked with a raised brow.

["Cosmos"]

"he is the reason i am still your teacher, and i am indebted to him," Fenrir said, turning towards them. crouching down, she jumped up and climbed up the opening that lead outside. climbing until she came to an opening, she pushed the opening cover aside. pulling a large chest out, she called out, "look out below." as the large chest crashed to the ground, she jumped down and landed lightly on top of the chest. hearing the faint skitter of her spider-like acquaintances, she stood up and shook her long and unkept fur.

"Whats in that chest?" Trisha asked as the panther silently continued to make his own blade and Trish finished her 5th blade. Setting it down with the other unique blades she walked over and looked at the chest and Vulpini.

["Cosmos"]

"this is for the next test you will face. i won't let anyone see what is within until then," Fenrir said, pounding the top of the chest with her fist. suddenly,the chest began to rubble in reaction from her strike.

[Ixion]

She stepped back as the panther-kin looked over with a raised brow "I can only guess whats in there, although my guess it's from the homeland isn't it?" he asked as he put began to pound away at his sword.

Trish shivered "Please don't tell me it's some form of spirit she said" with a shiver and her crystal rumbled against her chest "Sorry mom.."

waving a claw at the Panther-kin, she remained quiet as the spider-like being appeared in the entrance. smiling at it, she make several clicking sounds. nodding at her, it moved to the chest and picked it up with ease, despite how large and heavy it was. watching it leave, she let out a sigh, as a shiver ran down her spine.

He looked at her shiver and watched the chest leave "No not one of those things. How did you get it all the way here?" he asked almost surprised. He had seen similar reactions to others who had "encountered" that thing.

"i'm not telling what is inside, but just know this, others like it have nearly ended my life three different times since i have arrived here," Fenrir said, shaking off the shiver. turning back to the completed blades, she got to work examining them.

[Ixion]

Trish listened to her and went to work on the remaining blades, nearly an hour passed when she heard a clink and turned to the Panther-kin and watched as his newly made blade was easily folded up making it half it's original size and slid into a holster above the waist on his back.

not turning from her work, she wiped the sweat from the fur of her forehead as the clink rang around. nearly with her nose buried in a pile of scrolls, Fenrir was reading over a design blueprint for a strange but unique item.

Trish had placed the last blade on the forge and sat back with a sigh and smiled "So did you find the plans for the armor that will change forms with me?" she asked walking over to her.

["Cosmos"]

"unfortunately, no. these are for something, and something special," Fenrir said, rolling the scrolls up before they could be seen. putting them into the large fur mane that ran down her spine, she shook herself as the fur engulfed the scrolls.

She nodded and walked over to her "So what was the scroll on?" she asked in a hushed voice as she looked over some of the scrolls herself.
