“most likely. there is more to this place then it looks,” Akrina said, looking at the path to the chamber they came from. narrowing her eyes, she watched the ghost walk form the wall towards them.

[Ixion]

"I warned the both of you" it said with a plain tone.

"Mmm and you forgot to mention of the entire bat creature that feeds off magic." Keales said.

"Wouldn't have need to if you didn't go down there."

"Touche"

"you wouldn't of told us about it anyway. that was not a creature placed in there for protection, it was created from the energy off that so-called artifact," she said, as she looked at the ghost. suddenly, her eyes shook as a series of memories flooded her mind. "what are you? and tell the truth," she said with a growl, as the memories sank in.

[Ixion]

"I'm a spirit nothing more, nothing less. I cannot interact with expending my energy. That artifact belonged to a purple dragoness whos name I have long forgotten. My duty was to stand guard over it for as long as i'm needed."

["Cosmos"]

"then how come my mind is burning with memories of beings like you that turned this mountain into a burning wasteland of death and destruction?" she asked, looking at the ghost with a growl.

[Ixion]

"Perhaps others like me did it, but I have been here long before this mountain was like this, and died long before it happened" it said looking at her "My only charge was to guard the artifact, what monsters lurked in there was none of my concern."

["Cosmos"]

staring at the ghost as she examined it, she found the telltale signs of amnesia. closing her eyes, she leaned back in silence, as her runes continued to pulse with her heartbeat.

[Ixion]

He looked at the ghost and shooed him away who shrugged and disappeared "What do you think?" he asked her watching the spot were the ghost was.

["Cosmos"]

"its as i figured, it doesn't remember. those bodies back there were slain, and not by weapons. i'm thinking that it was slain here, then forcibly bound to protect that item, with its memories altered or suppressed. i'm actually sad for it, unable to pass on," Akrina said, opening her eyes as she looked at the amulet.

[Ixion]

"Maybe he is here just to protect that item, and maybe he feels guilty he didn't live long enough to see his master come and retrieve it" he said "Once this master returns tho im sure he will pass on."

["Cosmos"]

"i hope your right, cause what i am seeing is not right," Akrina said, blinking her eyes. setting her arm down, she set her head back. "this day has been too long," she said with a sigh, raising her other hand to her side, where one of her more recent scars began to bleed.

[Ixion]

He pulled out a small bag from his cloak and sat it down "You may not want magical healing but the least I can do is bandage you up" he looked at her "Where are the open wounds at?"

["Cosmos"]

moving herself to lay down, Akrina laid down and laid her arms to her side. "anywhere you see blood, that is where i'm wounded," she said, laying her head down on the ground.

He examined the spots and applied the medicine to heal her wounds. He then spotted the wounds under her shirt "I'm going to have to take off your shirt to get to the rest the wounds."

lifting up her upper body and removing her clothing that only covered her chest, Akrina laid back down. laying her arms to her side, she didn't care if her chest wasn't covered, not caring about modesty right now.
