Lost On the Island

[Ixion]

"Oh hello there" she said extending a finger as it hopped onto it "hehe come back to check on me?" she asked stroking its head smiling at the small creature and humming a small tune to it "Hmmm Ugeine? No no too odd hmm how about Tylor" she tapped her chin smiling at it and him "What do you think darling?"

["Cosmos"]

smiling at her, he lightly stroked its head with his claw. "its name is Sylin. i was out of things to do one day, and decided to name all of the constructs and crystal creatures in temple. while they all look the same, they each all have a single thing different about them. i can tell this is Sylin cause of the slightly longer middle front talons," he said, with a smile. "don't worry though, there will be new clutches of eggs from the crystals creatures, so you can name them," he said, nuzzled his cheek against hers.

Sh nuzzled him back and nodded "Hmm thank you" she sighed sadly "Although it will be a while before we can have eggs of our own" she said as she placed a paw on her belly "The ancestors said I could not bear a child for another 5 years" she said shifting closer to him but grinned "But that does mean we can have fun whenever we want" she said nipping his neck.

laughing nervously, he began to squirm slightly at something that he did. looking away from her as his face blushed, he twirled his tail around hers as he tried to avoid her gaze. looking out at the balcony, he resisted the urge to leave the bed and go out onto the balcony. "i think i may have done something," he said lowly, not thinking it was out loud.

"What do you mean you might have done something?" she said "I dont think even with all the altering you could have done would stop something spiritual" she said as she turned to him "But might as well here what you did to me" she said wondering what he could have done and why.

turning towards her, he let out a sigh as he looked in her eyes. "the artifacts may of amplified the temples influence, and removed your ancestors influence. what i'm saying is, i may have returned you to being able to have children," he said, trying to keep his gaze from meeting hers. feeling kinda ashamed of what he did, he lowered his head in shame. turning his head away from her, his tail began to untwine from hers.

Suddenly she tackled him in an embrace and kiss smiling wide "Why would you be sad about that!" she shouted happily "Children is one of the few things I always wanted!" she said "Trish when I had her my heart soared and after her I wanted to give her siblings" she snuggled close to his chest. "Of course I can't get pregnant during my heat season, some odd quirk about me I guess."

surprised by what he was hearing, he placed his claw on her back. pulling her tighter against his chest, he closed his eyes as he held back tears. placing his claw on her belly, he opened his eyes as he sensed something. smiling as a tear welled in his eyes, as he let his head lay back. "your different from before, not like your previous life," he said softly, as he closed his eyes to stop from crying in joy.

"It's because I was given a second chance to live a life I never had" she said smiling and shot her head up "Oh! while you slept i set something up and want you to meet someone. Come!" she said pulling his paw smiling wide. She lead him down the hall to their room and came to a very tall mirror with a shard of her gem etched into the top of the mirror.

climbing out of the bed as she pulled him by his claw, he followed her down the hall to one of the empty rooms. upon entering, he saw the large mirror and noticed the shard of her gem. "who did you want me to meet?" he asked, wiping the tears from his eyes. walking up beside her, he stood, waiting for her to show who she wanted him to meet.

"Umm first off I have been slowly gaining my powers back. While you were sleeping i sent out a mental feel to the area around us there is an underwater cave not far from here. I tested it and we would be close enough to the temple where we wouldn't grow weaker but far enough out where those who came to it wouldn't be affected by the island" she looked back at him "I just need to know if your willing to risk it for a few moments."

listening to her, he kinda was uncomfortable that she found the sealed cave. "i would risk anything with you, but... the island isn't just a normal place. it is hidden by a strange field that prevents being found, unless it wishes to be found," he said, meaning for the entire island. lowering his head slightly, he looked at her.

[Ixion]

"thats why there is another mirror that leads there, one on the outside" she said smiling "And this place isn't on the island it's a little farther out but close enough to make sure the effects of power drain won't affect us" she said nuzzling him "c'mon she is waiting for us." she said smiling "I promise nothing bad will come to pass I swear on my life."

"so, the chamber is the only place that this other mirror is connected to?" he asked, more in thought then a real question. letting out a sigh, he nodded as he placed his claw in hers. "okay, as long we are too long. i do have a thing i need to do," he said, waiting for her to lead. taking a deep breath in and out, he hoped he wasn't making a bad mistake.

As they walked to the mirror she easily passed through it and turned waiting for him her heart beating a mile a minute hoping he would follow. The cave was lit by a giant crystal that seem to illuminate the entire cave which turned out to be an entire underground garden of eden.
