Nyx growled slightly when seeing he at least was pretty strong hold of his own, but she knew one way or another this would end. SHe turned her head slightly then to take the hit of the telekinetic blast, her claws digging in by reflex and holding steady on the ground before she looked back towards Rankor, seeing he was much more visible.
Though hearing his voice from before then the other was beginning to confirm there was more to this male dragon then initially apparent at first glance. And his words only brought a smile to her face, "Rankor or whoever is in control you are the fool to think I don't pay attention. Yes, I am aware the rain can intensify the scent and you repeating yourself is not necessary. I am not a hatchling who needs to be lectured and if you yourself were paying attention if I wanted to hide I would have done so already."She said calmly, though her tone was a matter-of-fact kind as she faced the smaller dragon.
All the while she talked though she had begun to gather more telekinetic energy, this time from behind Rankor where he didn't seem to be concerning himself with. "Now if you were really paying close attention yourself you should always be aware of what your opponent can do, because I've yet to show all my hand." With this said the elder growled as a powerful telekinetic blast came from behind Rankor to hit him square in the back.

Rankor merely chuckled. Using his contingency plan, He jumped out of the way of the telekinetic blast, thus having it bypass him, and go straight for Nyx. Having an analytical, and strategical mind is truly an advantage of the battlefield, small or large, and the voice that now has control over the body is using it to his full advantage.
Strategic... How do you ...Analytical... ...Still have... ...Contingency... ...Energy... ...False... ...Left? ...Guard. You go help hold him back. I'll finish her off.
Rankor, the real Rankor, can only hope that Nyx can understand what he was trying to say. As Rankor continues to fight inside his head, another voice has taken over his body. Rankor still unsure of how that is even possible. Though the fact that it can happen, many has labeled him insane.

Nyx was easily able to side step her own attack, watching as he merely chuckled and causing her to flick her tail slightly. It seemed distance fighting wasn't doing her much good against this opponent but she had begun to realize she was a little rusty when it came to fighting, knowing she had not fought much since coming out of isolation. Even with Shadowseekers she still had some problems of getting back to her old standards for fighting.
And the struggle between these voices and the real Rankor wasn't slowing him down either. Unfortunately she only understood half of what Rankor was trying to get at, least the real one, so she would have to make do with what she had. Running forward Nyx began letting out a stream of her unusually colored flames, seeming to almost be sending out a Fire Breathe attack but instead the flames began to flow backwards around the elder female as she picked up speed. Though the flames were only serving more as a shield then anything else as she came forward, beginning to wonder how strong this dragon this dragon really was.
With her speed Nyx seemed like she would attack head on but at the last minute she let the flames continue on as she switched towards his left side instead and lashed out with her paw to knock him aside with surprising force.

The one in control of Rankor's body, was momentarily tantalized by the colors of the flames that surrounded Nyx. But that moment soon passed quickly, and he put up a guard. It was an invisible guard, created by his telekinetic power, and it allowed him to stand his ground and not move. The flames simply slammed into the invisible shield, but was pushed slightly by the force of Nyx's physical strike.
I was a telekinetic prodigy back in my day. My talent is unmatched. Even in a body that is not my own, I still retain my abilities. How surprising. You're no match for me Nyx. No one can save you now. As he spoke, he was using his telekinesis to hold Nyx in place, making her an easy target for killing, while maintaining his guard for the instance it doesn't work.
I don't care, in fact all of us don't. Well almost all of us. Women are weak, and only have one role in their life. You look so much like her. Amazing how sometimes one can be mistaken for another so easily, based solely on a glance. But this is the end for you. Your life ends, but I be fair. I'll make it a nice, quick and p...
He paused in his words, curious about the feeling deep inside him, wondering how it could be possible. How!?! I WILL... HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!?! NOT LET YOU HURT MY ECLIPSE! He lifted his claw, but instead of attacking Nyx, he clawed his own face. But!
Holding his face, he slumped to the muddy ground, blood rolling down the sound and into the mud. Sorry, he said, yet again in an emotionless tone of voice. He knew the dragon that stood near him isn't Eclipse, but using the words from that voice, and the near look alike to Eclipse, he managed to over come it. I won't be able to fight you anymore. My nose now filled with mud, and this wound close to my left eye, will prevent that from happening again. He now can't see a thing at the moment, and with his nostrils filled with mud, he can't smell anything either.

"Yet you put up a guard, which means you do feel threatened." Nyx countered towards the voice, growling at the one who was in control from trying to hold her down. But a snarl escaped her as she forced her own telekinesis to a bit higher level to over come being held down and was ready to attack with something far more stronger until she heard the voice stop and she quickly stopped her charged towards the dragon.
For now she could only watch the struggle going inside Rankor's body, rain pelting her dark colored scales and her eyes narrowed. Should the real Rankor loose control again she would not hold anything back again since that was what she had been doing with her telekinesis regardless if she was a prodigy or not. Nyx knew her psionic powers were powerful, enough so she could not control them fully so it was why she held back before to only quarter of it. And she also didn't want to risk truly harming the juvenile looking dragon himself but she might very well have had no choice.
She had even ignored the initial insult the voice had been saying, having heard similar comments before and it just no longer bothered her. "It's not my business to know what is going on inside your head Rankor, but just know I was close to no longer holding back if I had to. Though it's not your fault." She said to him, her voice calmer again and she seemed to sound like she was leaving for a bit but had only moved to the forest where she smelled some familiar herbs she did know, ones that could help with healing. Her footsteps then could be heard once more as she returned and turned his paw over and set the herbs in it. "Use those, they should help with healing that wound at least."

Rankor didn't move, not when Nyx left, nor when she returned with herbs. I wouldn't have blamed you. You could do it now if you truly wanted too. Why risk the life of so many others? All on the chance that I take control back? What if I never manage to take control back? Every time I take back control, their thoughts become mine, and it feels like I was the one who did those things.
Rankor still didn't move from his spot, still keeping his claw over the wound he has inflicted upon himself. If it wasn't for you looking like Eclipse, even if just a little, I may not have been able to take back control. My fight grows harder, and the more I fight, the tired I become, and the harder I must fight to maintain control.
I don't want to hurt her. I don't want to hurt either of them. Now as he speaks, he sounds like he is crying, and it would be true. Unable to see or smell at this point, he has completely forgotten there was even another dragon in the area. It wouldn't be the first time he cried and spoke out loud to himself, nor would it be the last.

"Unfortunately I cannot do that Rankor, you weren't yourself and I cannot kill someone without really being provoked to that point. It wouldn't have been right to have killed you to begin with since it really wasn't exactly your fault." Nyx told him, feeling sorry for this dragon but could find little that she could do to help him since the last thing she would do was kill a dragon just because he asked her to. No, she would never do that, not unless someone truly deserved what they got. Much as she knew Rankor was suffering Nyx just thought he was giving this up far too easily.
Resting a paw on his back she sighed, "Rankor, if you truly give up this fight then they will take control and then you will lose everything you have worked to protect and lose who you are. A fight is always going to be hard, if anything were easy nothing would truly ever get stronger or be unique or someone make an actual effort to do something." She told him softly, knowing she could only now give words of comfort. "You can't let these others take control of you, if you truly care for this Eclipse then look at her and your daughter as a way to strengthen your resolve, use that to fuel your will and win over your body, your very identity. That is all I can tell you." She told him, trying to be encouraging towards the dragon before she stepped back and began walking away to let Rankor have time to himself, "Good luck in your search Rankor."

Rankor stood up as Nyx started walking away, his underbelly covered in mud. I never said I was giving up. I was telling it how it is. I account for every possible detail I can think of He said, taking a step forward, unsure if he was facing Nyx or not. The cut by his left eye that he gave himself, has temporarily blinded him, and with his nostrils filled with mud, he can't smell anything. They are desperate for me to kill her. Eclipse may be my strength, but through their desperation, so too is she their strength. He takes another step forward as he speaks, his posture slightly threatening because he is slightly angry. I came close to killing her 5 times. That's why I am out here. I am here, she is not. It is for her protection.
Hearing a twig snap to his right, he immediately turns, not knowing if that was Nyx or just some wildlife, but not being able to see or smell, he is relying solely on his ears. No longer sure if Nyx was still in the area. His life is filled with so many uncertainties. Will he ever find his daughter, and is she even still alive? Will these voices ever give up, or will they one day take permanent control? I can't even go to sleep without fear of giving up control of my body. I haven't slept in three days. I live m life now in constant uncertainty. You have no idea how uncomfortable, how irritating, or how it even feels. Constant bombardment from the unrelenting voices, day in, and day out. I lose focus for even a second, and they can take control. This fight is one, that can only be won through death. He speaks, and takes another step forward, not once pausing to let Nyx get a word in.
He's going to say what he has to say, and let her speak after, if she is still there.I am very vulnerable, unable to see or smell you. But know that I will never go down without a fight. This fight will either end with their victory, at the death of the ones I love. Or end in my victory, through my own death. But if I had given up, I would've just killed myself a long time ago. Just remember that. He now just stands there, breathing heavily, as he did not even pause to let himself breathe. The sound of his breathing though sounds like that of anger, more than just being tired. Though he knows death is one way to get out of it, he still tries to find another way. But he is even uncertain if another way even exists. For one who is strategic, and analytic, this uncertainty is his worst nightmare, even worse than those unrelenting voices in his head.
