Peace has returned to the Realms,

Or so they thought...

Five years has passed since Malefor's defeat. The dragons are still re-building everything that they've lost in the battles and the Guardians are still looking for a new Fire Guardian. No-one has seen Spyro and Cynder since their great battle with Malefor, some think they died, others assume that they've sought happiness elsewhere.

No-one knows that they are still inside the centre of the world, encased in a Time Crystal once again. But then, finally, a great wave of Darkness sweeps over the land and breaks the Crystal. Spyro and Cynder are free once more and they return to the Realms, welcomed warmly back into the Temple. Only...

Spyro and Cynder's Crystal wasn't the only one that was broken. There was another, deep inside the Catacombs, encasing a gigantic red dragon. Now free, the dragon seeks revenge for the death of his Soulmate. Because the murderers have passed away many years ago, the Red Dragon chooses the first dragon that he lays his eyes on: Cynder. But instead of brutally murdering her, he spares her, because she reminds him of his murdered mate.

And then there are the dragons that have gone missing. Some were found back, changed, darker. Their scales have darkened, their eyes are glowing, their teeth are sharper. The peace doesn't last long when they start attacking the other dragons, drinking their blood or tapping their energy from them.

They are the Shadowseekers, an immortal breed of dragons that live off blood or energy from mortals. Now, it is but an army of Rogues and Newbloods, and no-one knows what's yet to come...

Despite the threats, everyone lives relatively peacefully. Everyone but Spyro and Cynder, who find that they will have to unrevel Cynder's past in order to fight the Red Dragon. With more and more powerful Shadowseekers pouring into the Realms, they suddenly understand why Malefor wanted to destroy the world, and find themselves torn.

Should they free Malefor from his prison? Cynder has the Convexity Key needed to open a portal. Or should they fight the Red Dragon and the Shadowseekers with their own means and powers?


The time of peace has ended. Good and Evil don't matter anymore. Are you a mortal dragon, or a Shadowseeker? Are you the shadow that haunts the night or do you try your hardest to protect your loved ones?
