"She's a shadowseeker, whatever created her will be coming soon. Depleted as she is." Kalidra said looking at Faltor.

"Yes.....hmmm son your body, magic and very soul mutates with each situation"

"Yea i know where your going. Theres a very high chance if i do it ill mutate very oddly."

Looking at both of them the mother raised a brow "What are you two talking about?"

Dae grinned "Isnt it obvious. To gain the power to fend off whatevers coming after her, i have to become a mutated Shadowseeker."

Faltor looked at her "Malefor.....yes we use to be his loyalist untill our son dissuaded us. Look at him now he was ment to be a tool of destruction himself but avoided it."

"And i doubt Shadowseekers will stay that way for long. I met a dragon whos intent on finding a way to break the hold over all Shadowseekers. His name was Ixiom...or Ixion i think. He also had a Shadowseeker compaion with him. That means you arent what you say you are, You can break that will."

listening to him, Zhatriana wished he was right. suddenly, with her lack of defenses, the darkness that resided within her rose to take a quick control. "uai wojy fa ekyo qwos uail sodnefr oxais! tu kolnfyzz qesw kyzslau yjyluswefr!" she spoke in a echoish hollow voice, as her eyes instantly turned black. realizing what happened, she raised her claw to her mouth in horror, as her voice and eyes returned to normal. "si mi zyak bivai. si geou jaseve jaka ghoros si tir creolnali si krethel," she said with regret and sadness in her voice, beginning to get to her feet, but unable to hold herself up.

Both his parents jumped back at the new voice as he stared at her. As she regained her composure he placed a paw on her leg "Rest, i'm sure you wont lose that control yourself agian. nomeno ui kii, ashne geou." using his spell he formed a temporay bond between their wills throughly increaseing hers and forcing back the darkness, but it showed an obvious strain on him.

when he placed his claw on her leg, she stopped trying to move. laying back down, she looked at him as he told her to rest. the moment he spoke the spell, she instantly slipped into a dreamless sleep. for the first time in over a week, she slept without any presence creeping through her mind or dreams.

Faltor placed a paw on his shoulder "How do you feel?"

Dae shivered as one eye turned the same color as hers, an obvious mutation was happening "Different, powerful and yet oddly relaxing. Im not done mutating though. That spell is ganna mutate me further. Better or worse i dont know"

as Zhatriana slept peacefully, the little hatchling that slept under her wing stirred form its sleep. moving from under her wing with sleep-filled eyes, it looked up at the three dragons. as it looked upon Dae, the talisman it still clutched to began to glow. suddenly, a pure white glow emanated form the hatchling, and created a sphere around it. as it let out a cross between a yawn and a cry, the sphere exploded engulfing the entirety of the inside of the cave in a blinding light. after a few seconds, the light blinked out of existence. in the explosion, the hatchling feel asleep, nothing different about it. above it though, a swirling mass of dark energy slowly faded into nothing.

He looked at the child oddly "Strange, she tried to purfiy me."

Both his parents had to shield their eyes from the bright light and when their vision returned they saw that parts on his body had turn from black to pure white making him both colors "And to an extent succeded."

Faltor held a crystal up to him "Hmm you mutated quickly. First with magic of your own and that childs....I dare say if you mutate even more you will be the strangest if not powerful dragon ever born!"

2 days pass as the two guest sleep inside the cave. Dae and his family caught up with past and recent events. Malefor loyalist hunts have ended making his parents safe, meanwhile he mutated further gaining a more adult figure and appearance and with a new deeper tone. His eyes remained two different colors.

One night he was restless renewing the will spell to keep the darkness at bay as she recuperated.

as the next few days passed, Zhatriana slept without moving an inch. as the spell was renewed upon her, she returned from the dreamscape. opening her eyes sharply as the hunger that she had kept in control for millennia overwhelmed her, she grabbed at Dae and bit down onto his neck. as a few trickles of blood touched her tongue, she remembered where she was and let go of Dae. backing into a corner, she started to cry as she realized what she just did.

He felt his neck gingerly and sighed "Well further into the rabbit hole i guess."
