Song of the Ancients

["Cosmos"]

as the sunny day shown down on Warfang, the citizens made their ways in their daily activities. as the guard began to rotate their shifts, the sky was soon darkened by the unexpected arrival of a storm. without warning, and without prediction, a giant lightning bolt struck the steps of the temple. before the guard could become mobilized, two dragons formed form the lightning bolt.

as one of the dragoness's made their way into the temple, she began to sing a song. with the little hatchling on her back, the song rang through the entire temple and even outside. to those born from the same blood of herself, the song would spark the thought to follow it.

[Ixion]

+Flying high above the sky Keales flew fast and hard the pouch of eggs next to his side, the crystal was hanging around his neck in a makeshift pendent as to not lose it. Seeing the lightning bolt in the sky he raised a brow wondering if that was Convexia.

Sjach saw the lightning bolt from her room in the temple and smiled wide when she heard the soothing song of her mother. With a smile and the eggs secured in the room with a nurse she took off to meet with her mother.

Ixion was being dragged away as he tried to understand what was being told "So wait a vampyre is here in Warfang and she is basically your best friend and helped give birth to your live child?"

Lilly nodded "Yes now get your butt moving meet with her so I can get to Tomanuri" kicking him outside to meet the vampire she took off to the room her mate was in.

having been asleep when the lightning struck, Tomanuri suddenly stirred when the song reached his ears. shaking his head to free himself from the sleep, the song seemed to click something in his mind. standing up, he began to follow the song, ignoring the protests of his guards and nurses.

as she finished her song, Convexia closed her eyes as the sound of lots of armor and weapons converged on the temple. turning towards the large amounts of guards that surrounded her, they all pointed their weapons at her. as one of the guard captains walked forward, a jailor followed him. "you are under arrest for crimes against the people of Warfang. you will come with us or die," he said, as a robed figure stood hidden among the guards.

[Ixion]

Ixion had just gotten outside he saw the group of dragons facing off against their group. With grumble he started to storm towards them but stopped feeling that he was not needed for some reason and stopped moving forward wondering what was about to transpire.

as Tomanuri entered the main foyer of the temple, he saw the guards surrounding the dragoness. scanning the area, he saw his mate and Ixion. moving through the growing crowd to her, he did grow curious of the dragoness that was surrounded.

looking upon the guards, she caught the sense of the one that was fooling them. grinning and making a evil expression, she spoke in a creepy voice, "i smell you, magister. once i find you, i shall do the same thing i did to your comrades that attacked me before." upon hearing her voice, the robed figure moved back a step in the mass of guards. suddenly, a gasping for breath was heard as the robed figure was lifted off the ground by his neck.

[Ixion]

At this time many of the order members attempted to attack her but noticed that their numbers began ti dwindle as many of them fell to the ground with no reason untill a blur of white could be seen and another fell to the ground. Landing blocking passage to her mother Sjach stood with a grin.

["Cosmos"]

as she watched some of the guards dropped, she smiled sweetly as her daughter stood before her. suddenly, the robed figure dropped dead, a large dagger in its back. as the guards parted for the newcomer, the figure walked up to stand before them both. removing its hood, Convexia smiled at the newcomer. "its good you were able to muster the strength to come," she said, looking upon Sjach's other parent. looking up to Lilly, she nodded at her.

[Ixion]

Lilly nodded as Ixion waved a paw as guards who had observed the disturbance had suddenly came out to round up the last of the order members and arrest them. Ixion looked out amongst the order "Don't resist it will only come out to be worse for you. Surrender peacefully Order members and you may not be imprisoned for life."

Sjach looked up at him hearing his tone "My quite the leader's voice he has"

as some of them resisted, Convexia watched as they were put to the sword almost as quickly. walking up to the females, who were smart enough to not resist, she placed a claw on each of their shoulders. putting each one to sleep, her looked at her maiden. nodding at her, she placed a strange crystal necklace around their necks. suddenly, a squad of armored Bat-kins landed next to each one. nodding at Convexia, she smiled at them as they picked up the females. as they crouched, they faded slightly, then lurched into the air. looking at Lilly, she nodded before turning to Sjach. "glad to see that your okay," she said, smiling at her.

[Ixion]

She giggled "thank you mom, thanks to my training defending myself is not much of a problem." she said with a smile looking to the other she tilted her head "Who are you?" she asked to her.

Ixion saw through the imprisonment of the Order members as Lilly moved to the temple to find her mate quickly.

["Cosmos"]

smiling at her maiden, Convexia turned to Sjach. "Sjach, this is one of my greatest soldiers from the war, my first handmaiden, and also, your mother," Convexia said, as her maiden removed the cloak that was still soaking wet, which also revealed the large amounts of wounds that covered her body.

making his way to Lilly before she headed off without knowing where he was, he jumped off a wall and landed right next to her. upon landing, his wounded leg buckled, making him curse in the ancient language.

[Ixion]

"Tommy" she cried happily and lunged at him tackling him to the ground with a smile and nuzzled him. She smiled and licked his cheek "I have a surprise for you" she said with a smile.

"My other mother?" she said with a smile. She then hugged her quickly with her smile wide "I've finally found my family."

["Cosmos"]

groaning slightly, Tomanuri looked at Lilly as she spoke. suddenly, his sight gazed at the chick that peeked its head look at him. at that very moment, he was filled with a sense of pride and joy. smiling sweetly at Lilly, he pulled her into a tight loving embrace.

groaning as Sjach hugged her quickly, the maiden smiled as she returned the hug, wrapping her mismatched wings around her daughter. "i never truly let you be alone, my dear. i always watched you from a distant, helping you. i'm sorry i could never be there for you," she said, as she looked at Convexia. slipping away from them, she went to find Ixion, and hopefully his mate.

[Ixion]

Ixion was directing guards telling them where to put the prisoners and what not when he heard a loud shattering sound and a large piece of furniture landed hard on the ground. Looking up he suspected his mate would now be in a foul mood due to the commotion outside. She hadn't slept much in the last few days and he had hoped she would find time to rest here but to no avail.

Keales had just landed at the city gate and made his way briskly to the temple hearing other residents talk about two dragons appearing from the lightning bolt earlier and how a the supposed disbanded paladin order had tried taken a female into custody. Hurrying his pace he made towards the temple.

Lilly hugged her mate joyfully as the chick hopped down to his face and licked his nose chirping happily identifying this figure as it's father rather quickly.

hearing the crashing furniture in the upper floors of the temple, Convexia shock her head. following Ixion as he directed the guards, she waited until he was not busy before approaching him.

smiling sweetly at the chick as it licked his nose, Tomanuri nuzzled it gently. looking at it with several of his perception levels, he smiled even more.
