(Note:Follow up from Traveling Break, but this is a time skip to roughly a few days later)
Crete still had a hard time believing everything she had been told, having discovered the truth. The blue dragoness she had ran into from her vision had turned out to be none other than her younger sister and after a bit of tense moments the older dragoness had given in from being rude to genuinely wanting to know what was going on. She had asked why they were the same, what happened to their parents, and about any other family. Far as she knew she had two other younger siblings than that of Iarna but they were off living their lives elsewhere.
With the information of the Shadowseekers being the killers of her parents Crete felt nothing but anger towards the dark race of Dragons yet at the same time sorrow and regret filled her heart. She had attacked and scared away her parents so long ago and now she had no way to make amends, to tell them she was sorry, to tell them she had only wanted to be independent. She had literally cut all ties to family and Crete was now hating herself for never trying to make efforts to reforge some relationship with her parents and only not had the memories from long ago. And currently it seemed like her second vision she was flying to no destination in mind, anywhere right now other than Concurrent Skies which was difficult to make her leave except for when Fhira came along and inspired her to try and be better. But this had been in vain and now she would have to try and find them one of these days to tell them it wasn't needed to seek them out any longer.
And with her distracted, sorrowful thoughts Crete failed to notice a large mass moving above her. A rogue shadowseeker who was looking for a target to kill out of boredom. And it seemed his perfect chance when he noticed the lonely dragoness, one that seemed unaware of his presence. So with a wicked smile upon the male's face he quickly dove down at her, surprising even the usually wary Crete and causing them to almost go into a free fall as he latched his claws into her side and was aiming to kill her. Crete though quickly recovered enough from her sorrow to begin fighting, feeling his fangs sink slightly into the base of her neck which made her snarl and turn and wretch her body furiously, beginning to twist into a downward spiral that began to cause his grip to loosen.
Eventually it was loose enough Crete sent a powerful wind towards both of them to blast the Shadowseeker off and correct herself in the air. "You picked the wrong day to mess with this dragoness, you'll regret this attack shadowseeker scum!"She snarled angrily, firing a Light Breathe she had yet to use when only recently discovering her new element and blasting him back. "Let's see how you like a taste of your own element girly."The dragon had quickly recovered and before the diamond-like dragoness could stop it she was struck with a tornado force wind that sent her flying towards the ground and slamming through a few trees before she skidded to a halt just on the edge of the slope leading down to the river that ran through Shattered Vale.
Now Crete was struggling to get up, feeling like she had pulled something in one of her shoulders and only collapsed once more and feeling too shaken to get back up. Landing behind her the large male Shadowseeker grinned with joy, seeing his 'prey' was now defenseless and he slowly moved closer seeing he could easily kill her. "Now your mine."He growled softly, leaning his head down towards the base of her neck to finish her at last. But as he was just an inch away Crete's eyes opened with fury filling her sea green irises, clouds beginning to form above them with the start of a funnel overhead which made the male stop with shock. On thing she would never do is give up a fight and with her skills in the Wind element she knew one of them was summoning a storm, in this case a tornado that formed much more quickly than an average tornado and it struck the Shadowseeker hard, tearing him from the ground and so violently he gave a yelp of pain from where he tried to hold onto the ground.
Commanding the tornado with her will to leave elsewhere, the funnel soon was leaving the ground and moving a long ways away and eventually forcing the shadowseeker to flee. Soon the clouds now began to clear and Crete groaned as she began trying to stand but winced, feeling that her shoulder might actually be dislocated and her body was still wounded by the claws and teeth of the Shadowseeker which luckily had not turned her. Combining this with her travel worn body already finally just collapsed once more, the ground shaking from her size.
It took several minutes before Crete finally felt enough energy to force herself up, at least she had three good legs to do so. With a slight grunt the diamond-like female pushed herself up and finally moved over to a tree she had not destroyed and sat beneath it, looking at the dislocated shoulder she now had. It would take a few shifting of the limb to pop it back into place herself but Crete would have to or otherwise limp for some time before she could find proper help. Looking around for a moment Crete leaned her head down and grabbed a piece of what use to be a tree trunk and prepared herself for the pain as she worked the limb for a bit and snarled as she felt it finally pop into place, painful too. It was enough it made her bite down and almost snap the thing to pieces but it only cracked slightly from the pressure before it dropped to the ground with a soft thud.
Now it was time to handle her many other wounds. This time Crete closed her eyes and began to concentrate, channeling her new Light element to surround her in a glow white light as she began to heal the wounds she had sustained against the Shadowseeker. It took some minutes before finally that task was done and this time her wounds healed over to small scratches that would heal in a few days. Sighing, she finally curled up to lay beneath the tree. She was sore and tired, ready for a long, much needed nap and it was soon enough she began to fall asleep and her journey finally at it's end.
