not looking from Midnight, the dragoness began to tighten her grip on her neck. as it seemed like she was about to snap the Ape's neck, she suddenly brought her into a hug. "i remember you, Star Light. the haze has lifted from my mind, and i'm sorry," the dragoness said, as she effortlessly broke the rest of the chains that bound her. "its okay," Midnight said, hugging her.

Making the blades disappear he stood up stright looking at the both of them "You two gonna be alright?" he asked as he approached the two of them.

["Cosmos"]

"yes, we will," Midnight said, then heard something from above. looking up at the dragoness, she nodded as she heard the same thing. acting quickly, Midnight jumped up, and with the help of the dragoness, pushed off her claws and soared through the dark air. pulling out her daggers from her thighs, she plunged them into the dragon that was descending from above. "about time you showed yourself," she said, as she stood on the dragon as they crashed to the ground.

His runes appeared and this time barbed chains appeared and wrapped around his limbs causing them to dig into the new dragons scales and skin.

stepping off the dragon as the chains wrapped around him, Midnight kicked him in the head. "i've always wanted to do that," she said, as she stepped back. pulling out a dagger, she threw it straight into his neck, severing the spine and killing him instantly.

Walking to the corpse he took his blade as it clinked and he brought it down at the neck as a loud wet thunk could be heard as he went about cutting the head off "Just a precaution and for proof of the kill. You wouldn't believe how many beings can "revive" themselves"

"you seem to be ignorant. no one can revive themselves," Midnight said, turning around as Reawing dropped down and landed in front of her.

"You obviously never been attack by a heartless dragon" he said as he cut the head off the rest of the way and pushed it into a bag "And if you don't believe me ask that village in the valley and they will damn sure say the same thing" he said

"whatever," Midnight said as she climbed on the Dreadwing's back. turning her gaze to the dragoness, she spoke, "please meet me in the Jade Jungle, where we first met." nodding at her, the dragoness spread her wings and lunged into the air. within moments, the dragoness faded away into the shadows.

Taking the leather bag with the dragon's head he slung it onto his back and looked at her "Meet me up top so you can collect your share"

"no need, i don't want the share," Midnight said, sitting down on Reawing's back. as the Wisp formed into its fox form, it climbed into her lap and laid down. curling up, it purred a little as Midnight ran her hand through its mane.

"Whatever" he said raising is hand in a wave good bye "Untill we meet again and all that fun stuff" he said walking away with the bag and the head inside.

watching him walk away, Midnight waved a hand at him. jumping up, Reawing flapped her wings and began to fly towards the entrance of the Catacombs.
