Starting Agian

Trish eyes fluttered open as she stretched and yawned in her bed. Looking around she heard voices outside and laughter. Taking advantage of no one being around she focused her mind and when she opened them she examined her body and smiled. "It wasn't a dream after all!" she thought happily as she flexed all four of her wings. Standing up she smiled wondering what her Auntie and Teacher would think of this.

having saw Zhatriana off in the middle of the night, Vulpini had stayed up all night. in the morning, she had played with her children a little, then made her way to her personal forge. for three hours as the morning passed by, Vulpini stood at her forge, creating items and tools to take her mind off what had happened. having been able to breath life into the new forge, she was also given a vision of a lose of life in her family. hammering a red-hot blade of metal, she suddenly threw it at the wall. with the force she threw the metal, it stuck into the stone wall. collapsing onto the floor, she began to cry.

As Trish approached the children they directed her to the forge as she approached she heard the sounds of sobs as she reverted back to normal she walked in and saw the blade stuck in the wall "Remind me to not challenge her to a throwing contest" she though and stepped closer "Vulpini? What's wrong why are you crying?"

["Cosmos"]

with the heat of the enclosed forge-chamber not affecting her, Vulpini looked up to her pupil with tear-filled eyes. "i got the new forge alive, and it gave me a vision. i saw the death of Kifel, and it shook me deeply," she said, trying to hold back her sadness. losing the fight, she jumped into Trish's arms, crying into her chest.

Walking to her side she held her hand and looked at her "The forge showed you this, are you sure?" she asked looking at her. She wondered what she had seen what the vision was truly was suddenly the crystal around her neck vibrated and her mother was trying to contact..both of them.

["Cosmos"]

"i'm sure. the forge is more alive then i initially thought," Vulpini said, through her sobs. feeling the crystal vibrate around Trish's neck, she tried to control her crying once again.

[Ixion]

suddenly the pisonic image of her mother entered their minds as she sat on the cloud and looked at her daughter and the wolf-kin. "Is this your teacher dear?" she asked with a nod.

Trisha was confused "Yea...what is it mother?"

She didn't look at her daughter but stared at Vulpini "You activate the Thunder Forge didn't you?"

not seeing the dragoness in reality, but seeing her in her mind, Vulpini tried to control her crying. nodding her head, she spoke, "yes, i brought life to the new Thunder Forge, and when i burned my hand to mark its birth, the vision happened."

Teresa shifted uncomfortable "The forge is deprived of the primal thunder, that vision you saw was incomplete" she said looking at her and motioned to her daughter "Take Trisha with you and the vision will come full circle" she said "Do you understand this Wolf-kin?"

["Cosmos"]

even though she was filled was sadness, Vulpini felt anger at the dragoness's way of talking. growling, she snapped at the dragoness. "i am not stupid, you egotistic scaly wyrm!" she nearly yelled, pushing away from Trish, nearly falling against the scorching side of the forge.

Teresa did not move and looked at her "You should be the one to watch your tone, I know of your people's history and it was my ancestors that defended them, or do your people forget so quickly the kindness of the Primals." she said staring right into her eyes. "I have walked the trials of your kin and I have experienced the horrors. You have no right to call me egotistical. I have earned my name in the blood of the fallen and the name of my ancestors."

["Cosmos"]

as her sadness was engulfed in furious rage, Vulpini lifted her hand up and slammed it on the small railing that kept the flames inside the forge. as her flesh burned, she lifted herself to her feet as she growled angrily. "you! you know nothing of my people! we Arctic Wolves left the Dragon Realms because of Dragons slaughtering us. Lienna was the only one that protected us from destruction!" she yelled, blood seeping from her hand as it burned her flesh.

She stood and looked at her with fierce determination "You are ignorant. She said her body changing to a dragon-kin form and stood before her "You are a child to me barely fit enough to call me ignorant" she said "If you so believe you are my superior then prove it" she suddenly pulled a divine rapier from thin air and held it up.

["Cosmos"]

snarling at her as the dragoness spoke, her snarl soon turned to a grin. "you expect to be superior to me in the blade? i was trained by Lienna the Immortal in the art of the blade, and no one has beaten me," she said sternly, as she peeled her hand off the molten forge, her burned flesh ripping from her hand as it had started to melt into the stone itself. as her hand bled, she wrapped the bloody hand around the handle of a strange weapon that was far larger then herself. closing her eyes, she let herself be taken to the dragoness. having discarded her clothes when she had entered the forge chamber, she stood before the dragoness with nothing on. as the strange sword dragged behind her, the Wolf-kin stared at the dragoness.

Holding the rapier she stared at her letting out a deep breath and with a calm face raised the rapier ready for the fight "You will see child, why your hatred of dragons is misplaced" she said as she awaited the first stroke rapier at the ready.
