closing his eyes slightly as Crete kissed Ra, Fhi blushed slightly when she kissed her. "this will certainly be an interesting time," she said, both of them smiling as Fhi's cheeks still held their blush. looking outside, she thought of something, as Ra checked Crete's wounds.

"Sorry Fhi, guess I'm pretty straight forward a lot." Crete said with a soft smile, knowing she hadn't stopped that habit of being straight forward on things but was glad to see at least the two smiled. But she was surprised to see Fhi blush. "But I never thought I'd make you blush."She admitted with a soft laugh and nuzzling Ra's cheek, "And don't worry about the wounds I handled those already. It's just the soreness I'm dealing with now is all Ra."She assured him.

nodding at her, Ra laid his head down as he let out an exhausted growl. looking at her, Fhi smiled with a giggle at Crete. "i wasn't really expecting to get a loving kiss from you, that's why i'm blushing," she said, the blush turning a brighter red. looking back outside, she pulled out one of her books. opening it to a blank page, she held her claw over it as words wrote themselves on the pages, in a language that was long dead.

"Like I said some things have changed,"Crete said with a smile as she yawned widely to where even her razor sharp fangs were visible before she lied her head down again near Ra's. "Though think Ra has the right idea, a good sleep sounds good right about now."She murmured when closing her eyes again and it wasn't long after her breathing become slower to indicate she was fast asleep. But this time she wasn't plagued by visions as the last time only sleeping peacefully after such a rough week.

watching her fall asleep, Fhi smiled at her brother. "follow suit, brother. i'll keep watch," she said, returning to the book. nodding, Ra closed his eyes and soon was fast asleep with Crete. after an hour, she soon closed the book as the last of its pages were filled. picking up the book and placing it back in her pack, she spread her claw wide and summoned a massive book from the Sub-Void. lightly laying it down and opening it, she flipped through the pages, each one containing detailed information on different dragons. finally coming upon a blank page, she held her claw over it, and a detailed layout on Crete. pulling out a small book from her pack, she flipped through its pages before she came upon a symbol of a deathly rose. "protected from death," she whispered, as the symbol appeared next to her name on the page.

It was quite some time that Crete slept, not even dreaming of really anything but actually remaining fully relaxed and enjoying the peace sleep tended to bring. It was soon by the time day was breaking the next morning did the diamond-scaled dragoness finally awaken and blinked her eyes groggily as she awoke. Her gaze was directed forward for a moment to where she could see it was still cloudy out but for now the lightning and thunder had stopped for the time being and realizing even that hadn't woken her up.

A yawn soon escaped her as she stood and stretched every muscle, hearing the popping of her joints and feeling her muscles loosen slightly. When satisfied she was not having chances of cramp she finally sat down and peered over at her mate as she blinked the sleep from her eyes.

having stayed up the whole night, Fhi wasn't tired at all. watching Crete waking up, she smiled at her as she stretched, hearing her joints popping. closing her claw as the last of the info was placed on the pages of the massive book, she used their tail to brush Crete's shoulder. "hope you slept well," she said, as Ra began to stir from his sleep.

Crete smiled a bit as she nodded, "I slept much better than anything else this week." She assured her before standing and coming around to look at the book curiously. "What have you been up to all night though Fhi?"She inquired curiously, smiling when seeing Ra was beginning to awaken as well.

"something i have been working on for almost our entire life. every being in this book has had some meaning in our lives, and we won't ever forget. just like you," Fhi said with a smile, pointing to the exquisite picture of Crete on the page. lifting his head up as he let out a large yawn, Ra let out a sleepy growl as he looked at the book. "well, of course it is beautiful. i'm the only one with the talent to create such marvelous books," she said teasingly, waving her claw over the book as the book became unable to be damaged.

"Now that's what I call keeping memories." Crete said with a smile before chuckling at the two as they exchanged their words before turning her head a bit and stepping near the entrance for a moment. The wind seemed to flow past the cave at great speeds, something common in the mountains but the air was heavy with a damp smell, a sign more rain was to come and likely a strong storm. "We have another storm cell coming our way you two, if we plan to travel we will have to move fast."She said before turning to face them again.

Though she grinned a bit as she walked over nudging Ra's cheek softly, "That's if Mr.Sleepy here could be able to fully awaken."She teased him softly, knowing Ra had just woken up but she was trying to have a much more pleasant attitude then her depressed one as of late.

smiling sleepily at her, Ra let out another yawn as he nuzzled Crete's cheek. "that is the nice thing about being a Hydra, we can work as one without needing both. we can get moving even if brother falls back to sleep, which he will," she said teasingly, as he sleepily growled at her. as his eyes closed slowly, he fell back asleep, as he laid his neck over his sisters neck. "now, lets get out of this storm before we become a walking conductive rod," Fhi said jokingly as she closed the massive book. as it faded away, they moved towards the entrance.

Crete chuckled slightly as she moved with Fhi to the entrance, glancing towards the clouds as it was getting a little lighter as an indication dawn was approaching. "Though I don't really look forward to being a conductive rod again, not after last time." She said with a shudder, recalling when she stepped in the one spot that was charged with electricity and quickly began moving across the steep sides. Only problem was she had no idea where they were heading. "Though I have to admit, I haven't a clue where we are."She admitted.

"i know where we are. this is near the northern-most border of the Shattered Vale. if we go to the bottom of this ravine, we can follow it south with some protection from the storm," Fhi said, as she looked down over the ledge. following the bottom of the ravine with her gaze, she remembered this place well. "ah, this brings back memories. we're near the spot where we met our first end," she said, sliding down the steep side slightly.

Crete nodded as she followed Fhi down the ravine but stopped when hearing her words which surprised her a bit. "Think no matter how long we're mates I'll never get use to you and Ra saying those things Fhi."She said shaking her head before quickly following, hearing a faint roar of thunder already as they moved.

"well, we have over fifty thousand years of experience in our life, so there may never be a time for you to get used to what we say," Fhi joked, as she moved further down the ravine. looking up at the sky when the thunder roared, she let out a sigh. "i think it best we jump down, or we'll be dodging bolts the whole way down," she said, as the sky brightened with the first flash of lightning.
