Surprise Reunion in the City (Tundra, open)

Taiga frowned at hearing this news, her claws almost clenching but the young dragoness quickly stopped herself since her claws would have easily dug into her lover by accident. But seeing the infected wounds Taiga knew she likely could help with that, "Perhaps some of the remedies we have here might help with the infection Akrina, that you should at least try."She told her but sighed softly as she knew the last bit was true. Taiga wasn't a fighter, she could defend herself but anyone was likely to overpower her in a fight which is why she usually steered away from violence and skirmishes. "Your right on that. I'm not a fighter, and what skill I have in defense is hardly anything to those who are stronger. Even you wouldn't have much trouble taking me down."

smiling, she pulled the icy dragoness into her embrace. "i would like that help, since its worth a try. and don't worry about it, my dear. the Daemons hunters will find it harder to find me, since my corruption has diminished by a great deal in the last two months," Akrina said, raising her arm to show the difference in color between the runes of her arm, and the rest of the green runes of the rest of her body. nuzzling her cheek against Taiga's, she smiled as kissed her cheek. "a few more, and i am free of my torment," she said, not really to anyone, but loud enough.

Seeing the differnce in the color of the runes than glancing back to where she heard Taina Taiga wondered if having children caused the corruption to weaken and almost disappear. But the last bit of words made the icy dragoness blush slightly, "I'll go get one of our strongest remedies we have here Akrina, just stay put." She said gently breaking their embrace and leaving the room to return to the main room of the shop smiling as she passed the youngling and going to the shelf. She looked around for a moment before grabbing a rectangular container and returned to Akrina once more, settling on her haunches beside her and resting the container on a table next to the seat and opening the lid. A sweet smell came from the medicine once it was open and Taiga looked back at her lover,"Alright, you'll have to move the bandages to allow me to apply this."

sliding off the seat and removing the cloak, Akrina laid the cloak on the seat as she folded her legs in front of her. removing her piece of garment that covered her chest, she clenched her teeth as she lightly removed the bandages. taking a slow minute to remove the last of the bandages, she laid her head against the seat as she groaned, the wounds looked like they would seep with ooze at any moment. laying her arms to her side, she allowed Taiga enough access to apply the medicine.

Thinking for a moment Taiga left the room for a quick moment before she came back, hold a small piece of wood which was long a she claw but just slightly thicker. "You may want to take this in between your teeth, if it becomes too much you'll need it." Taiga told her as she offered it to Akrina before she began to gently apply the medicine to the areas.

nodding, Akrina took the piece of wood from Taiga. looking to the other room, she spoke to Taina, "whatever happens, don't come in here, Taina." hearing her daughter make a sound that she understood, the Dragonborn took a deep breath before placing the piece of wood in her mouth. closing her eyes, she held still as her icy dragoness gently started to apply the medicine to the wounds. not feeling anything as she applied the medicine, she was slightly uneasy as nothing seemed to be happening from the Daemon poison. after several minutes, the medicine was applied to the last of the wounds, with still no problems yet. smiling at her icy lover around the piece of wood, her eyes suddenly widened when an agonizing pain ripped through her body. as her body clenched and tightened from the agonizing pain, she fell over onto the floor as she bit down on the piece of wood, trying her hardest not to scream. digging her claws into the floor, the wounds began to ooze with a sickly color as the fel green runes across her body pulses with her now irregular heartbeat.

It took several minutes to apply the remedy but so far nothing bad seemed to be happening and before long Taiga had put the last bit on before she smiled back at Akrina. "That should..."But she cut off as she saw nothing but pain in her lover's eyes making the young dragoness horrified that she had just made her wounds worse than ever. "Akrina, hang on!"She told her before she rushed form the room to grab some clothes before returning moments later and gently resting the clothes on the oozing liquid and trying to clean what she could unable to do more at this point.

as Taiga tried to clean the ooze from her wounds, it only made things worse as the wounds began to bleed. as the pain escalated so much that her eyes glazed over, her body began to fade as the color left her scales. laying still on the floor, she still clenched on the piece of wood as her head fell to the side. with the pain so bad, Akrina was only able to make whimpering sounds as her muscles visibly twitched under her skin. as her mind tried desperately to stay active, her thoughts were of that this pain was the same as when she was being tortured by the Daemons. when the pain first struck her, she had pulled her cloak off the seat enough, that now it fully slipped off the seat. as it fell beside her, a vial of a strange blue glowing liquid rolled out from the cloak and bumped into Taiga's leg, having not been in the cloak before.

Seeing things were only getting worse Taiga quickly stopped what she was doing and could only watch helplessly with the fact the Dragonborn was in terrible pain. What could she really do at all? The color was fading from Akirna's scales and she seemed to be having trouble staying aware which wasn't a good sign, that much the dragoness knew and still she could only watch. When something bumped against her leg though the icy dragoness looked down at the liquid, reaching down and picking it up with wonder while she also watched Akrina with worry. Was this liquid maybe what could help the dragon-like being?

as Akrina's breathing began to waver from the increasing pain, her chest began to lose the motion of her breathing. as the Dragonborn began to lose against the poison, a wispy-like form began to form in the room behind Taiga. unable to be seen by anyone but the Dragonborn, the form laid a large hand on the icy dragoness's shoulder. as the hand would only be felt as a breeze on her shoulder, the being leaned down and brought its mouth to the dragoness's ear. 'use the liquid of her wounds, it will heal the wounds and remove the poison,' the being spoke softly in her ear, its lovely and soothing melody-like voice sounding like it was in her mind.

Feeling the slight breeze on her shoulder Taiga stiffened for a moment, wondering where it was coming from as she knew the windows in the room were closed. Looking back she could not see the being but she soon heard, or what she though she heard, was a voice in her head and Taiga's gaze went to the liquid in her paw. At this rate she'd have to give it a try even though she didn't know if this voice was telling the truth or not. Undoing the top of the vial she began putting the liquid on Akrina's wounds and praying it would work.

the moment the liquid was applied on her wounds, Akrina began to show signs of recovery as her breathing began to return to her. taking a gasp for breath, the Dragonborn blinked her eyes rapidly as she looked around unfocused. as the ooze of her wounds stopped coming from her wounds, her bleeding stopped also as the wounds started to close. releasing her jaws from the piece of wood, she opened her mouth wide as she breathed deeply, her eyes returning to normal. lifting her claw weakly, she opened and closed her claw as the pain through her body began to diminish. smiling as it watched, the being squeezed Taiga's shoulder before it faded away.

Once again she felt that same breeze but this time Taiga decided to not worry about it, figuring it meant something but she couldn't be sure what it was at this moment. Seeing Akrina finally recovering the icy dragoness smiled before she took a cloth and wiped away the blood and ooze that had remained behind, being gentle around the areas with knowing they might be tender. "Akrina, how are you feeling now?"She asked her gently.

clenching her teeth slightly as a slight pain passed through the areas where the wounds had been, the Dragonborn's breathing had began t mellow out when she heard the icy dragoness's voice. closing her eyes as she lowered her claw down onto Taiga's, she took a deep breath as she squeezed slightly. "i'm feeling much better. thank you," Akrina said softly, then opened her eyes to look at the icy dragoness. looking at her love, the dragon-like female could feel that the icy dragoness had help from the Dragonborn's otherworldly savior and friend, which made her smile sweetly.

Setting the cloth aside when she was done Taiga looked at the Dragonborn, nodding slightly as she smiled and glad to see more improvement in the dragon-being's health. Seeing her in such pain and only making it worse had caused great concern in the dragoness, fearing she might lose Akrina but luckily whoever had helped certainly came in a timely manner. "Glad to hear that Akrina, and glad to see it really."She said, kissing her lover's cheek gently and smiling softly.
