Surprise Reunion in the City (Tundra, open)

smiling as she placed her claw on her lovers cheek, she waited until she pulled away. groaning slightly as she pushed herself up to a sitting position, she turned and leaned against the chair just as Taina ran in and hugged her mother. smiling as she rubbed her daughter's head, she wiped away the tears that covered her face. "its okay, dear. mommy is going to be okay now," she said, as she smiled sweetly at Taiga. as she stroked her daughter's head, Akrina giggled as she watched her daughter fall asleep. lightly but weakly standing up, she lightly wrapped the young feline Dragonborn in her cloak and set her down to rest.

Watching Taina run in Taiga moved aside enough to let the young being see her mother, waiting for a little bit until the young feline/dragon-like being had fallen asleep. "Akrina if you want I can set Taina in my room so she can sleep if you want, might be more comfortable than the chairs out here." Taiga offered to her, figuring it might be far more comfortable. But this she was leaving up to the Dragonborn.

smiling at Taiga, Akrina nodded as she lightly picked Taina back up. "after sleeping on rock, moss, and sticks for the past month or so, i think a nice bed would do well. lead the way then, my dear," she said, as she repositioned her daughter in her arms, as she was starting to get slightly too big to be carried like a child anymore.

"Right this way,"Taiga said as she stood on all fours before leading Akrina from the room and heading just down the hall and pushing open to a slightly smaller room which was basically her bed, a nightstand, desk, and some shelves which had her personal belongings and several papers scattered about on the desk. "Sorry for some mess, I wasn't exactly able to get around to tidying up my room much."She apologized with a sheepish smile.

giggling as she saw the mess, the Dragonborn moved past the icy dragoness and placed her daughter on the bed, making her comfortable as the child curled up on the soft bedding. "its okay, this mess is nothing compared to the mess my sisters made. we had to remake their rooms many times, and they never had the same furniture for more then a month," Akrina spoke, smiling as she finished tucking in Taina. standing up straight and bending her back until several pops sounded, she turned towards Taiga with a smile.

Smiling a bit Taiga watched and gently flicked her tail, listening a little bit to hear for any customers that might come in but so far there had been nothing and she knew her mentor wouldn't be back for a while longer. "Come on Akrina, how about I get you something to eat. Sure after all that and the traveling you must be hungry." She said, motioning Akrina to follow her back to the lounging room.

just as Taiga spoke of getting something to eat, Akrina looked at her belly as her stomach rumbled. laughing lightly, she spoke as she turned to her love, "speak of the devil. i would like that, dear." following the icy dragoness into the lounging room, she smiled sweetly as she moved to stand against Taiga. "i have missed you, my love," she said, wrapping her arms around the icy dragoness's neck, kissing her cheek.

Taiga smiled when they arrived to the lounge room again, turning her head slightly to look at the Dragonborn and kissing her cheek in return, "I missed you too, my beloved Dragonborn." She said to her having gotten past her earlier concerns and knowing she really had let her thoughts gone astray of thinking Akrina had betrayed her before. She really should have let Akrina explain before but now that things had smoothed over and the danger of her injuries were behind them the icy dragoness was at ease and began working on making a meal for the Dragonborn.

following the icy dragoness, she smiled as she watched her begin to make a meal. "let me help you, my love. despite not showing it, i was quite a chef in my younger days," Akrina said with a smile, as she helped Taiga with the cooking, even creating a few dishes of her own. setting out each dish she was finished with, Akrina smiled at her love several times, the smell of their foods creating quite the aroma.

"Were you? If so that'll be a big help, not much of a chef myself and I don't have much skill in cooking." Taiga said with a smile, imagining what kind of dishes Akrina could make as she worked on her own dishes. Before long though she was setting them on the table beside Akrina's and smiling back each time, using her good eye to look directly at Akrina most of the time. Bringing her tail up she gently wrapped it around Akrina's waist and pulled the dragon-like being close and embracing her lovingly, "All of it smells delicious."

as the last of the food was brought to the table, Akrina smiled as she began to put out the flames of the cooking fire and cleaning up a little. wiping her cheek of some ingredients when she finished, the Dragonborn raised an eye-ridge when she felt the tail wrap around her waist. smiling as she was brought over to the icy dragoness, she smiled as she embraced Taiga also. "i'm glad you like it, it is a talent i take great pride in. i am a scout, and such cultural skills are hard to find in such ranks, so i'm glad you like it," she spoke, kissing her on the forehead.

Smiling slightly, Taiga nodded as she could only imagine what it could have been like for someone like a scout to go through and lacking in certain skills. So far Akrina definitely wasn't lacking in many skills, the dragoness knew that in more ways than one. "Let's dig in shall we?" She said with a smile, kissing Akrina's cheek before she began to get a bit from each dish especially wanting to try her lover's dishes.

nodding, she sat with her mate and began to eat, making sure to try her mates food first. finding the food quite good, Akrina noticed the signs of a beginner, but decided to focus on the good parts. "this is really good, dear. your better then you think," she spoke, with a smile. letting her tail wrap around Taiga's waist, she ate with her mate, enjoying this greatly, being with each other and no distractions.

Taiga smiled as she began to eat, taking some time to savor the food Akrina had made and could tell she definitely was a great cook. But there was no doubt Arkina had done this for a long time, Taiga herself still getting the hang of being even a decent cook. Though she smiled a bit when hearing her mate, "I'm glad you like it." She said and added, "Your's though is great Akrina. Wish I could cook half as good." She said with a light hearted laugh.

smiling, she nudged herself against her icy mate playfully. "thank you for that. i can help you," she said, smiling as she ate a little more. "if you want, i can help you improve your cooking skills. it would certainly be something we can do together," Akrina spoke, smiling at Taiga, as she wrapped her wing across the icy dragoness's back.
