[/size]Chronicler[/li][/ul]RanksThere are several ranks open for any dragon to take. Ranks which only need one dragon will be crossed out once the rank is taken.
The Chronicler is an ancient, grayish-light blue dragon who was thousands of years old and contained immeasurable wisdom and knowledge and had the element of Telekinesis. He serves as a narrator of sorts for the last two games of the trilogy and is a background character more so than anyone else, watching the events that unfold rather than taking any real direct action. He is also the dragon chosen to watch over the Books of Time. The Books of Time have recorded almost every part of history and every dragon has a book dedicated to their lives. The powers that come with such a role include Dream Manipulation, Dream Control, and Dragon Time.

Males
Warrior dragons are those who are given the task to fight when enemies attack. They go through a long, three year taking training in order to learn the right fighting skills. They are trained to kill and destroy without mercy, and will give their lives to protect others.

Hunters are talented hunters who have razor-sharp claws and teeth like blades. They hunt for every resident in the Grotto and the Temple. They are similar to Warriors, and will also fight when enemies attack. Though they are good, Hunters are often cold and merciless, but some are friendly.
Males & Females
Guardians are dragons which have mastered their elements. The duration of mastering their elements is different for each dragon, some finish in one a few months and others take years. Guardians live in the Dragon Temple and the Grotto and are trained to defend the dragon eggs. In times of need and danger, the Guardians meet in the Dragon Temple and discuss what can be done.

Nestmaids are female dragons who are experienced with brooding eggs. Although brooding isn't necessary to make an egg hatch, it does make it hatch faster. Brooding also makes the eggs healthier. The female dragons also teach the hatchlings how to fly and they feed them. In time of danger, nestmaids take the hatchlings and eggs to a safer place.
Females
Healers often have special healing powers and a wide knowledge of medicinal herbs. They also know many poisons, and they know how to neutralize most of those poisons. It isn't uncommon that Healers don't survive their five month taking training, for they have to take poisons and then try to heal themselves.
*Healing power is required to be a Healer.
Males & Females
Patrols are dragons with dark colors, like green, brown and black. They are trained to blend in with their environment, and can move as silent as the wind. Often used to patrol for any dark gems or any dragon who has become evil, they are also trained to fight and defend themselves.
Males & Females
Like the word says, teachers are dragons which teach other dragons how to master an element. Or they are experienced Warriors, Hunters, Guardians and Patrols who train their trainees. They are often old dragons with a lot of knowledge, voluntarily passing on their knowledge to younger dragons.
Males & Females
Mentors teach one or more dragons (but never more than three) special skills which only they know. Mentors and their apprentices have very strong bonds, and there has to be trust to make the training go well. It takes a long time before one, mostly older, dragon chooses his apprentice.
Males & Females
A prophet (male) or prophetess (female) is a dragon that can look into the future, past or present events. They work for the Temple, gazing into the Pool of Visions (though any chosen dragon can see in the Pool of Visions up to some degree) or with the device they prefer. Dragons or dragoness that have prophetic dreams, the power of seeing past events, or scrying can be seen as a prophetic dragon.
Darklings are basically dragons on the evil side. They prefer destruction and chaos over kindness and peace. Darklings are often born in the Well of Souls, and have dark powers like Fear, Poison, Darkness and Energy.
Males & Females
An archer is a talented dragon. They craft their own bows and arrows, and can shoot from a wide range. Bows and arrows can be used for hunting or fighting, or practicing. Archers are in some ways similar to warriors and hunters, but they are mostly seen as mysterious beings that keep to themselves. An archer can be very dangerous when armed, you don't want to get one against you!
Males & Females
A blacksmith is a dragon who is talented in crafting weapons. They can usually craft anything from small blades to axes and other weapons. Fire powers combine well with this rank, because fire is needed to craft weapons. The blacksmith is often well armed and has a wide collection of weapons because they can make whatever they want for themselves and others.
Males & Females
A potion brewer is a somewhat mysterious dragon that prefers shady areas for it's work. They use many herbs and poisons to craft their potions with. Poison powers combine well, because this is handy when making a poisonous mixture. They can be either evil or good.
Males & Females
A resident is a dragon that lives in a village. Usually they do not have specific task or talent in their village. In desperate times they will have to fight, but they are often evacuated when a war is going on.
