First time in the city(Open)

"You'd be surprised" he said with a smile as he led the other male inside the temple. Inside was the foyer where some books were laid out in random places. Although it was empty one could sense that people were common here. Jerking his head for the other to follow he headed upstairs.

Nodding slightly Rapier followed the amber dragon inside, eyes widening at just how big the entrance foyer was alone. And just with a brief glance at the halls gave much away just how large this place was and he could only imagine it would be like a maze to newcomers or those who weren't quite use to the place. Watching Ixion jerk his head from the corner of his eyes the spiked crimson dragon turned his pupil-less ocean blue eyes towards the stairway and began to follow.

Walking to his door he knocked on it to await a response hoping his mate was awake enough and had the energy to help them.

Rapier stopped beside Ixion when they reached his room, patiently watching the door and listening for any signs of movement inside with not knowing what to expect. Besides he wasn't exactly wanting to bother a dragoness when she might need plenty of rest from the sounds of it and he certainly didn't want his curiosity of his heritage to be something of a priority. But he had a feeling Ixion would take no for an answer so he said nothing for the moment.

unknown to the Regent-Lord, only one being was actually in the room. sitting on the bed, a strange dragoness looked around at the destroyed furniture. turning her gaze to the pieces of creatures that had tried to attack the family of Ixion. hearing the knock on the door, she crawled onto the wall then onto the ceiling, her claws digging into the stone to allow her to hang effortlessly. using her long tail to open the door slightly, she was able to stay out of sight, even while in the middle of the ceiling.

Ixion looked around seeing the destroyed room rushing in her snarled as he looked for his mate. His body was slightly turned into it's dest state as he tried to find his family "No, NO NO NO!"

When the door opened Rapier was surprised to find the place was practically in ruins, like someone had let off a miniature tornado within it's confines. But when he went to step forward he jumped back with shock when seeing Ixion sudden change, never witnessing a dragon make a sudden change like this before but could guess it was from his worry and concern of his family. "Ixion calm down, getting yourself worked up isn't going to help." Rapier tried to say as he quickly stepped inside, trying to get the amber dragon to calm down.

He quickly looked around before looking back at him, "Just take a deep breathe and think for a second alright? Think hard, is there some place they might be right now, anywhere familiar?"He quickly told him, trying to get Ixion to focus and not yet lose faith that his family could very well be safe.

"hot-head, i see. no need to over-react," the dragoness said, her voice surprisingly coming from all the walls. crawling quietly from the ceiling onto the floor, she shifted her form into one that looked like an avian-like taur, which also revealed her presence with the sound of ripping flesh and breaking bones. crossing her arms across her chest, she tapped two of her four legs.

He quickly calmed himself and looked up "You where is my mate and children." he growled this was not a good time for his family to go up and missing "Now!"

"Ixion, I mean it calm down."Rapier said in a firmer tone, quickly stepping in the way to avoid a fight to break out before he glanced towards the dragoness. But was surprised to see her form shift as well, wondering now what he had gotten himself into with this meeting of the Regent-lord and if he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. "Look can you just tell the dragon where his family is, please. Or at least give him some reassurance they aren't in harms way."He said in a bit more kinder tone towards Amuul.

placing her taloned hands on her hips, Amuul looked at Ixion with a smile. "Shadow-Princess Martivir and her hatchlings are being escorted to Valhalla as we speak. the trash you see plotted to assassinate her, and they were no match for the Dest-Celestial," she said, then nodded at Ixion. bowing slightly at them, she spoke, "i am known as Amuul, first of the Dest."

[Ixion]

This put him on edge as he growled "Dest...." he growled as his memory returned to the war and the horrors it had inflicted to the world "You realize what your people put the world through right?" he asked calming down but still on edge.

Well at least that had to be a good thing right? Least Rapier hoped it was a good thing, especially since he wasn't familiar with what the two were talking about or the city of Vahalla. But his expression turned to one of confused curiosity when Ixion was on edge when Amuul mentioned being a kind of celestial. "Er, it's nice to meet you Amuul...I think."He said uncertainly before adding,"And what are the Dest?"

letting out a sigh, Amuul shook her head. "Ixion, i only learned that i am the Dest-Celestial, or first of the Dest, in the last few days. i have no idea what the Dest during your time did, but they seem lost to me. i've been trapped in the Void for nearly ten thousand years since the creation of the Well of the Void, so i can not take responsibility for the actions of the Dest," she spoke, then turned to Rapier. "it would be best if you ask him, since i am not in control of the remaining Dest to know."

[Ixion]

"The Dest nearly over ran and took over the Dragon Realms and even then they wouldn't have stopped there. Their blood lust nearly enslaved or wiped out multitude races" he said looking at her "Now where exactly is my mate and children?"
