"Wish answers were always easy to get,"Rapier said with a smile, but of course they weren't. Tapping his chin for a moment the crimson dragon began to think of what else to ask the twins as he ate the last bit of his food and knowing there were many questions he wanted to ask. "Hm, I do have one question I should have probably asked from the beginning."he said with a chuckle, "What are your names?"He asked.

smiling, they stood up and took several steps away. giving him a little bow, they finally spoke one at a time. "my name is Bolt," the one on his right spoke, a scar on her neck in the shape of a lightning bolt. "my name is Strike," the one on his left spoke, a scar on her neck in the shape of a lightning strike something. "we are the Storm Sisters," they said together, giving him a sweet smile.

Turning to them as they took several steps back he looked at Bolt then Strike, giving the two sisters a nod as he smiled back. "Seems fitting names for everyone to call you the Storm Sisters."He told them with a smile before he gave his own bow, "And for a proper introduction, my full name is Rapier Thornhide."He greeted them properly, finally lifting his head.

"its nice to meet you, Rapier," they said, smiling. returning to their meals, they quickly ate the rest of their food. as they ate the last of their food, they perked their heads up, sensing something as a current of electricity ran across the ceiling of the fortress.

Rapier smiled before he turned back to his food, finishing up his meal in a few quick bites before licking his lips. He still thought the food was better when he hunted it and caught it for himself but he had to admit the food there in the fortress wasn't half bad, it certainly was filling and he'd be set for a good while. Though he glanced towards the two when they perked up, "Something wrong you two?"He inquired curiously.

"the storm is acting up. looks like we're up," they said together, then stood up. "if you want, you can see us in action," they said, as they stood up and smiled at him. walking out of the hall, they made their way to the entrance of the fortress. walking out into the storm, the lightning strikes from the storm struck the ground with force. with small holes littering the ground, the strikes were coming awfully close to striking the fortress itself. lifting their claws up high, the lightning strikes in the area of the ruins began strike the sisters. as soon as the first strikes hit them, they began to move in an elegant and majestic dance, take the electricity of the lightning and diverting it with their motions.

"Sure, I'll come check it out." Rapier said with a smile as he stood and followed them out from the mess hall. Before long they were outside, but the crimson dragon still stayed back so not to attract any of the lightning and watching with slight awe as they seemed to move in an elegant, majestic like dance and easily diverting the storm's lightning. These sisters were certainly intriguing and Rapier found himself watching every move of the dance, not really worry of the lightning anymore since they seemed to attract it all. And he wasn't exactly truly safe as even a single stray bolt could strike him.

after twenty minutes of their dancing, a massive roar seemed to shake the mountains of the surrounding area. finishing their dancing, the Storm Sisters gave Rapier a bow. turning towards where the roar came from, they looked to the top of the one tower that still barely stood. atop, a dragoness was setting a large crystal into a placement. because of the roar, the lightning seemed to have answered some kind of call. striking the crystal instead of the fortress ruins, a massive crystal formation at the base of the tower began to light up from the lightnings stored energy.

Rapier smiled when their dance finished and he came to join them, "Lovely form you two have,"He complimented them before the roar captured his attention and drew his attention to the fortress, seeing the dragoness as she placed the crystal. Watching the remaining lightning come to the crystal instead and powering up others at the base of the tower Rapier began to wonder what was going on and who this dragoness was. "Who's she?"He asked, glancing to Bolt and Strike.

"thank you," they said, smiling at his compliment. looking at the dragoness, they spoke, "that is Convexia, our mistress. she must have been able to get it working," they said, seeing her beating her claw onto a Conduit construct as it tried to defy her.

"I see"Rapier said while watching her trying to get the crystals to work. Seemed even they could have an attitude, guessing they were used to prevent such nasty storms like this from almost destroying more of the fortress. And he had to admit he was surprised about the storm that had rolled in, beginning to wonder if it had come along while they were inside.

watching Convexia smack the Conduit several more times, they grinned as it gave in to her 'persuasions'. as the crystals became fully connected by the Conduit and its miniature constructs, Convexia raised her claws into the sky in triumph. suddenly, a massive lightning struck the top crystal, nearly sending her off the tower from the force of the strike. "wow, that one strong bolt," the sisters said as they felt the strike from where they were. suddenly, five more lightning bolts struck five other areas, hearing cheers from those areas.

"No kidding,"Rapier didn't need to sense the strike he could see the strike nearly send Convexia off her feet which made him cringe at the thought of falling form such a height. But his attention then went to the lightning bolts that struck the other crystals, wondering what the energy was often used for. Though one thing was for sure he wouldn't be sleeping outside if he got tired later, "So, what do you guys use the stored up energy for anyhow?"He asked the twins while watching the lightning striking the conduit.

"we use the energy to light the crystals that light the interior of the fortress. it's too hard to light the place with fire," they said, smiling. turning their heads towards the ground, electrical currents visibly sparked their way throughout the fortress.

Rapier watched the currents moving throughout the fortress but chuckling slightly at hearing that, "I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard, but whatever works for you guys." He said with a smile before turning to look at the fortress, figuring it might just be the sheer size of it that might be the problem of lighting fires and all. Or maybe just not many fire dragons. But he began to go silent for a bit, beginning to think back to the parents he didn't know.

Had they ever been to a fortress or lived in one? Could he have been in a place similar to this if he had known his family? These were just some of the questions that began to run through his mind, there were too many to think about all at once since Ixion had inquired about his heritage and had offered to try and figure that out. Really though, his main question was, what was his linage and would it be something he could be proud of?
