"he killed my family, and nearly killed me. the scars on my body are from him," she said, climbing onto Reawing's back. as the wispy fox jumped on, the Dreadwing took flight. "the Assassin will know my fury, and taste the vengeance of my family and the Apes," she said, latching the sword onto her back. pulling out her daggers, she held onto the back of the Dreadwing, as she took off towards the peak.

"That's reason enough to me,"Crete said as she spread her long silvery wings before taking flight after the Dreadwing, but keeping a brief distance so not to accidently knock the creature off it's course. With her begin a lot bigger than the Dreadwing she could very well knock it off course or accidently get it in the crossfire if she needed to attack. "I'll come around the other side."She called to Midnight before flapping her powerful wings to fly upwards into the clouds before coming around to the opposite side of the peak and hoping to cut off a chance for this Assassin to get away.

flying over the peak, Midnight patted Reawings head, then jumped off. catching the sight of the Assassin, she positioned herself so that she would crash into his disgusting Dreadwing mount. as she shot towards him, she slammed herself into the Dreadwing, stabbing her daggers into its head, piercing its brain and killing it instantly. removing her daggers form its skull quickly, she grabbed onto a tree vine and slide to the ground as a tree snapping sounded through the jungle. landing, she motioned for Reawing to signal Crete. turning her gaze back to where the Assassin has crashed, she suddenly had to place her daggers in front of her, which was a split second before a sword would of slashed her chest. being pushed back by the attack, she hoped Crete would be quick enough, since she needed both hands to keep his sword from killing her.

Crete had patiently awaited her chance to come in, and soon enough the signal from Reawing was enough as she quickly dove down towards what seemed a situation going bad for the albino ape. With a roar that would have shaken the ground of peaks she quickly put her wings closer to dive faster and sent out a blast of her wind breathe to send the Assassin flying into a tree with as much force as a tornado and came to a skidding halt on the ground before folding her unusually long wings. "Are you alright Midnight?"She asked her, giving a side glance to the young ape.

as the Assassin was sent into a tree by the blast of wind, Midnight fell to one knee to stop herself form falling backwards. "yeah, i'm okay. now to get to work," she said, as she stood up. running at the corrupted Ape, she attacked at him, not allowing him to get off any attacks off. with the flurry of attacks, Midnight's body looked like it was soaked in sweat. before Crete could make a move to help, Zia landed lightly on the dragoness's head. "it would be best you wait. she has trained for this moment, and must do it her to do the fighting," the feminine voice said, as its body shimmered, which was normal for Wisps.

"Trust me, I had no intentions of interfering with something that is obviously her's to do." Crete told Zia, letting the female albino ape handle the Assassin and would not intervene unless she was asked to. Or unless the situation would change. She at least had some respect when someone wanted to fulfill their duties and she would think others should do the same. Often it was what she preferred in being able to be independent and not have to rely on others to fight her battles.

as the flurry of her daggers began to outmatch the Assassin's weapons, she slashed into his limbs with every strike that was not deflected. "your no match for me, you monster!" Midnight said, the look of vengeance in her eyes. as the strain in her arms began to become evident from her overexertion, the corrupted Ape took the split-second pause in her attacks. thrusting his sword, the magical blade pierced her abdomen, then he jumped back, leaving the blade in her. stumbling back from the pain, she coughed up blood as she grabbed the handle. closing her eyes, she ripped the blade from her gut, nearly collapsing. spinning the blade in her hand, she opened her eyes and ran at him. jumping up, she plunged the sword into his chest, crashing him to the ground. as he tried to breath for air, she weakly stood up. pulling the sword from her back, she raised it over her head. "it's time for you to die, monster," she said, then plunged it downwards. without thinking, she diverted the blade to stab it into his shoulder. "no, its not my right to do it," she said, then looked to Crete.

Crete watched the flurry of blows exchanged between the two apes, her eyes easily following them but it was becoming apparent that Midnight was beginning to tire. And that moment of weakness was enough for the Assassin to strike but the dragoness had to force herself to stay put, despite knowing Midnight might be critically injured from that strike. But when the albino ape had her chance to finish the corrupted on she was surprised she didn't finish him but instead merely wounded his shoulder.

"Midnight this is your target, your fight it's best you finish it."Crete told her, wondering why she didn't or was she really going to let him live to harm more lives that could have a similar outcome to her's. Or was something else crossing her mind?

"i have no right in ending his pathetic existence. he may of killed my family, but he has killed more dragons then we both know," Midnight said, weakly standing up. putting her hand onto her wound, she took the sword from the Assassin's shoulder. "his death is here, but it must come from a dragons claw," she said, keeping her eyes on the Assassin while raising the sword up.

"I see."Crete now understood why she didn't act and her anger seemed to build up with recalling those times when many of her kind had been slaughtered and she had to slaughter some by her own claws. It had pained her to a degree but at the same time she got over it, knowing there had been no way to reverse their poisoned, twisted minds. Walking over to the Assassin and looming over him an angry look came to her sea green eyes as she removed the sword from his chest and lifted a claw, "Join your Master and the rest of your corrupted kind in the pits of darkness."She growled before stabbing a claw straight through his chest and heart, ending the pathetic ape's life then and there without regret.

watching the sword plunge the corrupted Ape's chest, she heard his final breath. letting out a sigh, she turned away and took a few steps. as the effects of her wound and exertion finally took her, she fell forwards. groaning in pain, she spoke, "i'm so glad its over. i can finally have some rest after all these years." trying to stay awake as her mind became weak, a pool of blood started underneath her.

"Midnight."Crete quickly came over to the ape, looking with some concern to the wound she had been inflicted with. She gently turned Midnight over, cringing at the wound she saw before her and knowing this might not be a good thing in the least when any vital organs could have been hit. "We got to get you to healer or at least get that wound covered,"She said, immediately trying to go through some things that might help.

groaning in pain as she was turned over, she tried her hardest to stay awake. "there is no time to look for a healer. that bastard used blades that were enchanted," she said weakly, placing her hands over the wound. as the Wisp floated down from Reawing's back as she approached, it changed into the two-tailed fox form. smacking its paws on Midnight's forehead, it spoke, "wake up, this isn't the first time you've been run through." smacking her head hard, this seemed to wake her mind right up. "thanks Zia," she said, as she looked at Crete. "don't worry, it didn't hit my organs. i just need to tightly cover the wound," she said, her voice sounding like this was a normal occurrence.

"If this is a common thing it's surprising your not dead yet."Crete said, shaking her head being a little relieved but still even if she had been run through before that didn't mean another time would be the same. Still, least she was alive. Though she glanced at Reawing than back at the ape and wisp, "Well unless you have bandages on hand I think that might be a problem."She said as she looked at the wound and began to wonder if there was no place close enough since that would looked like it should get medical attention soon.

But with her concentration upon it Crete at first didn't realize the ball of light she was beginning to gather just above her head to the size of a fist. And before long, by her will alone, Crete's newly formed orb of light slowly lowered towards the wound which surprised her but still the orb came close enough to the wound it glowed even brighter. With a few moments of this the wound began to heal and close up, and some of the pain gradually ebbing away but not completely but at least the wound was closed to a decent point it looked merely like a small slash that wasn't lethal or fatal. With her surprise growing the orb of light disappeared, leaving the diamond-like dragon wondering what had just happened.

closing her eyes slightly at the ball of light, Midnight let out a sigh of relief as the pain seemed to fade. after a minute, the pain seemed to nearly stop. "it seems you've made a discovery. quite the time to discover something new," she said, smiling. turning around, Zia placed her twin-tails on her face, giggling.
