having fallen asleep after making the final touches to the pieces of work, she soon awoke when the sound of her pups playing reached her ears. pushing herself up, she coughed as she breath deeply the ashen air. groggily picking herself up from the forge floor, she picked up the wrapped pieces of work, her tools and the sword. pushing her way outside, her closed her eyes as the morning sunlight hit her sight. forgetting her clothes, she made her way to the door of the house. laying the wrapped items on the grassy ground, she walked in. seeing her pups playing with the dragoness, she smiled, her fur covered in ash and soot.

Once the children saw their mother they all gleefully smiled and ran to her wanting to see the thing she crafted in her forge and Trish stood up following them.

settling them down, she lead them outside and motioned for them to a couple of wrapped items. stopping, she looked to the dragoness and pointed to the opposite direction, where several more wrapped items sat, along with the sword. sitting with her children, she watched with a smile as they unwrapped them.

She walked to the other set and looked through them then back to her "Why so many for me?" she asked intrested now.

raising a finger at her, she waved her paw. keeping her focus on her children, she watched as they opened the items and listened to their squeals to delight. watching the two daughters pass the jewelry between each other, she watched her son examine the exquisitely built bow and arrows. hugging her, she watched her pups run off to a small grove of trees that was well protected from all sides except for the entrance. standing up, she moved over to the dragoness.

"please stand still," the Wolf-kin said, the took off the heavy leather apron. throwing it onto the ground, she leaned down and picked up a piece of armor. as she placed it on the dragoness's body, it shimmered with a faint amethyst aura. repeating the process with each piece of armor, the same effect happened with every piece. as the chest piece was placed on the dragoness's chest, the entire set of armor shimmered with the aura, until it centered on an empty slot in the chest piece. taking the sword she had returned with, and a new weapon that looked like a cross between an axe and a sword, she stuck them into the ground in front of her.

standing straight in front of the dragoness in her armor, the Wolf-kin walked a complete circle around the dragoness. seeing no imperfections, she nodded at the exquisite craftsmanship that she had made. "to answer you question, you are the first dragon to pass the trials of my people since we left the realms to go to the north. it is an honor to make something for you, and i would not do a half-ass job," she said, as she tapped the armor. suddenly, she grabbed the sword-axe and swung with with lightning speed, slamming its blade into the chest piece. even though the strike was filled with power and speed, the piece of armor was unscathed. in fact, it actually stopped the attack just millimeters from striking the armor. placing the weapon back into the ground, she nodded.

"Wow!" she examined the armor after the attack and looked at her "Will this armor change shape with me when i turn back into a full dragon?" she asked

shaking her head, she pulled out the sword from the ground. "unfortunately, no. the ore you brought is known as Eternium, which is the shield-like effect you saw. i was only able to craft this type of armor, because you obtained the ore in that form. you can't even wield these weapons in any other form," she said, handing the sword to her.

[Ixion]

She wieled the blade looking at it "I see" she suddenly rembered something "Oh are you familiar with lightning steel?" she asked, her father's armor was made of it and now she wondered that maybe she knew the lost art of crafting it.

["Cosmos"]

thinking on what she asked, the Wolf-kin shook her head. "i'm sorry, but i haven't heard of Lightning Steel," she said, then remembered something from her training of the forge. "but, if i can get a piece of the material, and a strong enough forge, i may be able to create such material," she said, smiling as she placed her paw to her bare chest. "i am an expert with the forge, since a master of blades would be useless with broken equipment," she said, as her tail swayed back and forth.

She smiled "Fantastic ok give me a moment" she sat down suddenly cross legged getting strange looks from the children as she made a circle with her fingers.

Over across the desert Dae's head shot up getting a look from his step child "Uncle Dae, it's Trish is your mate around?"

"Uh yea..." looking next to him he quietly shook her awake "Darling Trish wants you"

watching her, the Wolf-kin frowned. while the dragoness did whatever she was doing, she moved over to the cave of her forge. picking up her clothes, she moved back over and entered the house. putting the clothes into a pile of dirty clothes, she grabbed a ice-cold herb and swallowed it. returning outside, she sat across from the dragoness, waiting for whatever was to happen.

raising her head, Zhatriana let ut a slight growl. "what does she want? i'm not much in the mood for anything, so it better be interesting," she said, having been moody for the last few days.

[Ixion]

"Im sorry auntie but rember when i asked you if you had remembered where you put some of the Lightning Steel, well can i get some of it. I think i found someone who can smith it" she translated mentally

narrowing her eyes, Zhatriana rose to her feet. "(who could be able to smith Lightning Steel in this age? it suppose to be dead,)" she spoke, as she moved over to a desk. running her claw along the top, a compartment opened, with many papers contained within.

She sat there waiting for her Aunt to get the information needed.

Dae watched his mate as the daughter attacked his cause harshly causing him to flinch and look at the attention depraved daughter.

picking the piece of paper from the pile, she read over it. once she had read over the entire paper, Zhatriana sent the information mentally to Trish. "(enjoy, and lets hope whoever is with you is worthy,)" she said, the cut the connection. turning towards them, she climbed into the bed and laid down, playing with her.
