[Ixion]

"Is that what you think?" unexpectedly she lifted her self back up and with a roll dislodged the mimic and stood facing her "Superioty is a lie told by the snobs that we are better, we are not. We can die, give birth, and fall to sickness just as easly." she pointed at the mimic and then herself "The sooner we realize this the sooner we can help others"

["Cosmos"]

cackling, the mimic grinned at her. "that is what makes you weak. we are dragons, closest to the Celestials. we are the greatest of the races on the world, and will dominate those that do not submit," she said with a growl. reaching her head back, amethyst flames began to seep from her mouth as she mustered up a large burst of flames. suddenly, she opened her maw and let loose the torrent of flames, a dark-red touch to the amethyst flames at it stormed towards the dragoness.

[Ixion]

She took the staff and jammed it down infront of her the sticj suddenly glowed and the fires spread away from her "No, we are not. We are not gods nor anything more. We are mortals." shesaid with conviction and charged the mimic as the staff suddenly turned into a blade and found the mimics gut. "That is my way. You can disappear for good. I will go on to help everyone."

["Cosmos"]

gritting her teeth as the flames were diverted from hitting her, the mimic watched as the dragoness slashed opened her chest and gut with the sword. falling over, the mimic began to fade away. once the mimic faded away, the bonfire blinked out, the door lighting up. fading in, the Wolf-kin stood before the door. "you have passed the trial of the soul. but before you can return, you must tell me what you have learned from the trials," the voice spoke, as the figure turned towards the dragoness.

[Ixion]

Lookijg at the wolf-kin she smied "We dragons are not above everyone else. We have to all work together." she held up the blade "Also that anger and hate only clouds us from the truth."

["Cosmos"]

nodding at her, the Wolf-kin spoke, "you may of been born a dragon, but with your change, you have begun to understand us. we are glad that you have birth to cloud your growth." turning towards the door, the figure threw open the doors, releasing a blinding light. "return now, and accept our gifts," the figure said, as it faded and the visions ended.

within the cave, the gases began to diminish. with their effects fading from the dragoness, it released her from its grip. at the end of the cave, a vine covered opening could be seen.

She stood as she realized that the entire thing had been not a physical challenge but a challenge meant for her psych. Looking around the cave she saw the vines and approached it. Taking the newly formed sword she cut the vines away and saw a small thing of mineral ore and using the sword she pulled it off the wall.

["Cosmos"]

sleeping peacefully with her pups, she suddenly awoke when a shiver ran down her spine. opening her eyes, she looked around her home. seeing nothing out of the normal, she suddenly thought of the dragoness. 'she couldn't of passed the trials, could she?' she thought, as she laid back down.

[Ixion]

She began a long walk back to the house as she reflected in what she had endured in the trail thinking deep to herself. Before she knew it she was at the house and hoping not to wake the pups she knocked on it lightly.

["Cosmos"]

hearing the faint knock, she lightly jumped out of bed and moved silently to the door. opening the door quickly, she was shocked to see the dragoness. seeing the ore she was carrying, she couldn't believe it. "you passed the trials?" she asked, speechless.

[Ixion]

She nodded "Yea, it wasn't easy i can tell you that" she said as her strength failed her and she fell to her knees "I'm so tired" she said the exhaustion in her voice evident.

["Cosmos"]

helping her to her feet, the Wolf-kin helped her to lay down on the floor. closing the door, she moved over to a cabinet and pulled out several pillows and a blanket. putting the pillows under the dragoness's head, she covered her with the blanket. grabbing a few herbs, she made up some tea. bringing it over to the dragoness, she slowly poured the tea for the dragoness to drink. "rest now, you deserve it," she said, the last part slightly quiet.

[Ixion]

She took a drink of the tea and her eyes fell heavy and closed as the her breathing moved up and down softly indicating that she had fell asleep rather quickly. In her hands she still held the sword that the stick used to be.

["Cosmos"]

once the dragoness had fallen asleep, the Wolf-kin took the new sword from her claws and looked it over. taking the surprisingly large amount of ore, she ran her paw over it. feeling the power the ore contained, she looked at the dragoness. "you are something else, aren't you," she spoke, then took the ore and the sword outside. grabbing a pack of tools and materials, she walked over to a cave that was nearly indiscernible from the mountain-wall. inside the cave, the air was so hot, that sweat immediately dripped form her body. taking off all her clothes, she threw them outside the cave, then put on a heavy apron made of strange leather. turning to the molten forge that sat at the back of the cave, she went to work. working for half a day, the faint sound of metal-smithing and hammer strikes came from the cave the entire time.

In the morning when she finished her work laughing of children and Trish could be heard as the dragoness and the children played the young pups had climbed over her.
