tapping her claw on the ground, the barrier of the first set of pillars faded away. tapping her claw again, the second ring of pillars activated to form a new pillar. looking to the Lores, they took the message quickly and got behind the barrier without hesitation. drawing a rune on the ground, she placed her claw to it as it began to glow. raising her claw, a series of arcane strings connected her claw with the rune. spreading her wing-claw towards him, a series of arcane chains sprung up from the ground around Rapier. wrapping themselves tightly around his body, they became tight as they recalled into the ground until there was no slack.

Rapier watched from the corner of his eyes as the Lores drew back but hardly took his full attention off Zhatriana. Seeing her drawing in the ground again Rapier saw his chance as he dashed towards her yet again only for the arcane chains to shoot out and catch the young male by surprise. Growling as he was ensnared by these chains he struggled to get free but his struggling soon wasn't doing much good. Well, this certainly had turned in her favor yet again when he wasn't exactly one to know much of magic.

In fact, Rapier knew nothing of magic. Yes, he had heard of it and seen a few passerbys back in Twilight Falls use it but he had never tried it himself. Rapier though wasn't about to let this stop him as his entire body became covered in flames as he struggled to get free of these chains and his eyes glowing the full fiery red, no longer just being along the outer parts of his eyes.

watching as Rapier's body was engulfed in flames, Zhatriana didn't move an inch. looking to the sky, she took a deep breath. concentrating, she used her Shadowseeker power, the area around her eyes glowed slightly as the sky grew slightly dark. as a snow storm began to strike the area, she mustered up a large amount of energy. raising a claw, a swirling sphere of icy arcane energy began to form in her claw. nodding at the successful conversion of the magic energy, she tossed up the sphere, then spun around, striking her tail into the sphere as it came down. as it streaked through the air, it crashed into him, sending the icy arcane energy spreading over him. as his body began to freeze over, the magic energy began to stick to his body, making his body stiff and heavy.

Rapier watched helplessly as his body was covered in ice, growling as even his fire seemed to not stop it. Out of his frustration however, Rapier's body seemed to be reacting to trying to get free and beat this wyvernic dragoness. His body began to increase in size and length, his spikes lengthening, especially around the legs, and his tail seemed to be as long as his body. The chains began to break from the sudden change and the ice was slowly falling off but still clinging to his body like annoying flies.

It took only a few short minutes that Rapier fully changed into his Dest Form, roaring loudly as he finally felt the chains break free as his body had strained them too much to hold him down. Rapier was just slightly taller than the average male dragon now and he certainly had gained length and build, and he wasn't even sure if his own powers had increased. Whatever had just happened he had to admit he liked it but that didn't mean he'd be in the clear yet. So with another growl escaping his throat Rapier mustered what strength he could with the ice weighing him down and sending a stronger fireball than before towards Zhatriana.

breathing heavily from the use of so much energy, Zhatriana watched as Rapier changed. raising a brow at the change, her eyes suddenly widened when the large fireball soared towards her. being weakened severely, she was unable to muster the strength to stop the attack. jumping out of the way, she wasn't fast enough as the fireball burned its way across her side. skidding across the ground, her side was littered with bleeding burn wounds. picking herself up, she breathed heavily as she faced him. as her blood dripped on the ground, her body showed great strain and exertion.

Watching her breathe heavily Rapier began to wonder if she was at her limits, and it seemed so when she didn't defend herself against his attack nor could barely move. Concern flashed in his eyes when seeing her wounds she sustained from the attack he launched and he quickly was moving towards her. "Zhatriana, this spar is ending now before you get even more wounded. In fact..."He looked towards her bleeding side growling softly in anger at himself for getting carried away, "If we continue I just might end up accidently doing something I'll regret."He told her urgently, not wanting to see her suffer anymore.

breathing heavily as she listened to him, Zhatriana smiled at his concern. "(your right, this spar is ending now)," she said, as she mustered the last of her strength. as he neared her, she moved lightning quick despite her exhausted shape. stopping right beside him as everything seemed to move slower for her, she raised her claws and brought them crashing down onto his back. with the way she brought her claws down, her claws received minimal damage as she slammed him into the ground. as he smashed into the ground, she closed her eyes as she heard him gasp for breath as she fell backwards. falling onto her non-bleeding side, the last of her strength left her, as the barrier faded away, and the pillars lost their power.

Her sudden movement surprised Rapier as she knocked him right on his back that made him let out a loud cough, gasping deeply to try and get air back into his lungs as the wind was knocked out of him. It stunned Rapier for a little bit but after taking several large gasps of air he eventually lifted his head, looking over to the exhausted Zhatriana yet he was far from being tired. Unlike her, he had not expending much energy in his attacks or this fight, but enough it he was feeling some of the tiredness.

Slowly rolling to his feet one last time he moved to the wyvernic dragoness, never seeing someone so affect by his element before. But this concerned Rapier still, knowing she had to be seriously injured just from that single fireball he had released. "This may be over but you need medical attention."He told her, finally relaxing his guard yet not returning to normal at the moment.

"(your right, i do need medical aid. i may be a Mythblood, but i am unable to heal at all)," she said, looking at him. smiling, she let out a chuckle. "(over five years, and i still have over two hundred and fifty years left)," she said, curling her tail weakly. as her blood slowly dripped from her wounds, she was forced to close her eyes because of the blood from her face wound.

"Your a Shadowseeker?!"Rapier asked with shock but quickly moved back as some of the Lore dragons came to help Zhatriana, wondering if they really could heal her. But he was left there wondering if he really should of held back in the fight or expected something like this to happen. Problem as not everyone could expect that to happen or know how things would go in a spar, but it seemed his attacks had done more damage than anything else. Now, the young dragon was left to wonder if she'd end up permanently scarred.

being helped onto a stretcher, she looked at Rapier with her closed eyes. "(come met me later. i'll answer any questions you may have)," she said, then the Lores took her to the healers. letting her body go completely limp, she slipped into a near-sleep as several hours passed and the healers tried to heal her wounds.

as the healers healed her wounds as best as possible, they left the room to give her some time alone. shifting her body slightly, the sound of the shackles on her limbs clanging together filled the room.

After those several hours Rapier was back to normal, having gotten some looks now but he had ignored them. Yes, he was wondering about the sudden transformation he went through and wondered if it was like those of Ixion and Amuul but his curiosity was mostly on Zhatriana. This was the first time in his life he had had so many questions to ask in his young life and now this was directed to the unusually large wyvernic Dragoness.

Currently Rapier had made his way to where she was, having been directed by the healers to Zhatriana but frowned when hearing the shackles clanging together. Pushing open the door with his front paw he stepping inside, seeing her wounds had been mostly healed but she would likely be scarred from his fire attacks that he didn't expect to inflict so much damage. "Zhatriana, how are you feeling?"He asked her, still showing some concern.

lifting her head and looking as he walked in, Zhatriana smiled at Rapier. "(i'm feeling okay, thank you for asking)," she said, as she shifted her body again, the shackles clanging together more. moving her body so she could lay while facing him, she saw that he was back to normal. "(so, what kind of questions do you have roaming within your mind)?" she asked, having not forgotten that she would answer any questions he had.

Once again Rapier's eyes fell to the shackles, wondering why they were being used when the Lore Dragons hadn't seemed to mind it before that she was there. Or had it been something during the match that had triggered a need for caution? "Glad to hear your doing alright."He said, before he sat down and facing her. "I guess what I am wondering about right now is why your shackled like this. Are the Lores just being cautious about something?"He asked her while also considering his questions now.

looking at the shackles, she shook her head at his question. "(no, these were already on me. i am surprised you hadn't noticed them before. i received these when i was captured by some strange dragons and was imprisoned. they were used to keep me locked up, since i am severely weak against all Elemental abilities, as you have seen)," she said, twisting the shackles on her wrists. curling her tail around her body, she stretched her wings, showing the heavy bandages that were wrapped around her body.
