Rapier said, having not thought about them or considered the shackles during their fight before he rubbed the back of his neck. Seeing the bandages made the young dragon cringe a bit as he asked the one question he actually wanted to know. "That brings me to my next question, why are you so weak against Elemental abilities. Even my weakest fireballs normally don't do that much damage."He said recalling her reaction to his fireball hitting her face.

looking at the wall, she let out a sigh. "(i am severely weak against Elemental abilities because of my birth. i am born of an extremely powerful Shadowseeker, but she was the carrier of a rare and unique disease that only affects Shadowseekers. my very blood carries this disease, and has converted me into a Mythblood Shadowseeker. being a Mythblood also changes the very essence of a Shadowseeker within me)," she paused, looking towards an open window. "(as you know, a Shadowseeker is extremely difficult to kill, because of their healing factor, along with their ability to live forever. i, on the other hand, have no healing factor, which also doubles to triples all damage from Elemental abilities. i am also not able to live forever. i will be scarred for another two hundred and fifty to three hundred years)," she finished, looking at Rapier in the corner of her eye.

Rapier listened to her answer, looking at her with understanding then and beginning to understand about her situation. That certainly explained a lot and he had recalled the few times he came across Shadowseekers that a few of them had healed remarkably fast. "I see, I never realized that was the problem."He told her before he tried to think of better questions to hopefully lighten the mood. "This arcane energy you use, is it the only ability you have?"He asked next.

"(not exactly. you have seen my three ability sets. you have seen one of my Shadowseeker abilities)," she said, turning to him as a cold shiver washed over him. "(i am the only being in the world that can use Arcane Magic, since normal beings would be destroyed from the very energy of Arcane Magic. i also have an extensive knowledge of Psionics, an ancient form of Psychic energy)," she said, as she spread a claw towards a table, which instantly rose off the floor.

"Indeed, some of your abilities surprised me during that spar and was quite intriguing."Rapier said with a nod, before his attention turned to the table trying to ignore the cold shiver that went through his body. He figured this might have been from Zhatriana from this, though he then looked back at the dragoness. "That I'd guess is telekinesis, or something similar to it and those barriers I'm assuming are from psionic shielding." He guessed, but wasn't certain for sure if this was the case. "I know my only psionic power is aura reading, but that's about it."

putting the table back down, she looked at him. "(the difference between Psychic energy and Psionic energy is that one must be born attuned with Psionic energy. Aura Reading is a baby compared to the Psionic parent)," she said, as she closed her eyes. reopening them, she effortlessly used her Aura Sight. as her eyes opened fully, the walls shimmered as figures of aura appeared on the wall surfaces. raising a claw, she placed a claw-finger on his forehead. sharing her sight, his Aura Reading was activated and momentarily converted to her Psionic Aura Sight, allowing him to see the entire effects of the Psionic parent.

"Well, I don't always use it so I don't mind really." Rapier told her but doubted he would truly discover any psionic or psychic abilities. He might have looked forward to something if his parents had been around and he knew what they had but sadly enough that was unlikely to happen. And for now he watched as Zhatriana used her own aura sight and was surprised when she shared that with him through contact making him look around a bit with surprise at how her's was stronger than his.

"Amazing,"He murmured before sighing a bit, "Unfortunately I have no way of knowing if my psionic power will grow by the time I'm an adult or in later time. Any other powers I don't know either, my parents died before I was a hatchling so whatever they had is unknown and if I'd inherit anything from them."He told her.

placing her wing-claw back onto the bed, she closed her eyes. "(from what i have seen, i don't think your Psychic ability will be the prominent power you will use)," she said, as she opened her eyes to look at him. looking at him, she found his appearance strangely familiar now that she looked at him without movement. "(do you feel a faint twinge in your bones sometimes)?" she asked, remembering something from her past.

"That I've kind of come to figure so far."Rapier agreed as he flicked his tail slightly but found her next question quite strange. "A twine in my bones? No not that I've ever really recalled, not unless it was a growth spurt and well we know how those can be. But that's about it, why do you ask?" Rapier said, now wondering why she'd ask such a question. Did she know something or had he reminded her of anything? Or as there something he was missing and didn't notice?

lifting her head, she leaned her head side to side as she looked at him more. "(i have lived for over eight thousand years, and throughout that whole time, i have never seen another like you... except for one place)," she said, as she stood up. moving to stand beside him, she placed her bandaged claws on his spikes. feeling them, she knew for sure that she was right. "(i see the signs clear. i may of known one of your parents, since everyone in Necropolis knew everyone else)," she said, running her wing-claws over the spikes.

Rapier watched curiously as Zhatriana looked over him, listening to her mention that there was one place where others did look like him, stunning the crimson dragon. There were others? Did that mean he did resemble one of his parents after all? Hope was beginning to show in his eyes, finally thinking he had found some answers to his questions, especially to hie lineage. "I can't tell you who my parents are Zhatriana, but I would love to hear more about this Necropolis. It's the reason I'm here in Valhalla to begin with, I've been trying to find out of just what or who I am."He told her.

returning to the bed, she laid down and got comfortable. "(i am not sure where to begin about Necropolis. it is a city in the Blizzard Wastes of the North, where death cannot enter. the beings who reside within the walls of Necropolis, are known as Necros, and are easily identified by the small decayed portion of a body part. most of the dragons that live in Necropolis all share the same trait: they all are like you, covered in spikes)," she said, as she thought back to her time in Necropolis.

"So it's a common trait there." Rapier murmured, having never seen any other dragons like himself at all despite seeing so many pass by in his home area. Now that was one thing that puzzled him. "If there are so many dragons in Necropolis like me, why have I never seen any others like me Zhatriana? Certainly they leave the city right?"He asked, wondering just why no others had ever left the city. And well, he didn't exactly see signs of any decay upon his body.

"(you haven't seen others because none are able to leave the city. the city is protected by constructs called Necropoli Sentinels. they allow beings to enter the city, but prevent any from leaving. the Sentinels are unbeatable, so you have to be powerful to get past them, or fast enough, which is harder still)," she said, looking up to the ceiling. "(Necropolis is covered by a spell-like curse that was placed upon the death of the only king and queen of the city. ever since then, the Sentinels prevent all from leaving. because of the curse, it prevents their defeat, and the deaths of all within the proximity of Necropolis)," she said, remembering how she got past them.

"Wait if they prevent anyone from leaving how is it either of my parents who was a necro dragon able to get away? I mean, one of them would have had to be powerful in that case like you just to have escaped from the city." Rapier said, now confused of how it was possible he had then been conceived or even born outside that city. "I'm just saying this because I was born in Twilight Falls, so I guess it doesn't make sense to how I'd be here instead of Necropolis."He told her.
