Heading to the Home

[Ixion]

Aldarion looked about the area they were camped out feeling the brisk air against his body he shivered slightly and walked back to the cave where a fire was lit. His partner had gone out hunting after insisting it was her turn and now he was forced to wait and keep the fire alive.

For Iarna, the environment was a nostalgic feeling, having not been there since in her late teen years and it had been somewhat hard to have come there at all. Although, this wasn't the exact area she had lived it was still part of her parents' old temporary territory and she knew the best hunting spots there. Of course, much of their food had been large fish that inhabited the cold waters which Iarna had been able to adapt to at a young age and now moved through the water with little effort, even despite her feathered wings.

She was gone for about an hour, maybe just a bit more than that. Out here though one lost track of time but still it had been worth it as Iarna flew back carrying two very large fish in her claws and returning to the cave Aldarion was and landed outside. "Fishing sure is easier than I remember." She said smiling as she came in but could see Aldarion shivering which made her somewhat concerned if coming there was a good idea. "Aldarion, you sure you'll be alright?" She finally asked, showing some worry of him being so cold.

Looking up to his her he smiled "Ya I'll be fine, this isn't my first time up here just need to keep my fire lit and ill be fine." he looked to the fish and smiled "And a successful hunt i assume?" he said with a smile. He stood up and yawned "Anyways when we get moving again i won't be cold anymore."

"I hope so, your beginning to worry me."She told him as Iarna set the fish down and nodded slightly, "One good thing about this place the fish are large enough for almost a while meal."She said with a smile as she sat close to her partner to help warm him up more and even spread a wings over his back, hoping her feathers might help. "And hopefully this helps a bit, don't think we need you becoming a mercenary icicle."She said half teasing.

[Ixion]

He chuckled and nuzzled her "Thank you" he ate at the fish slightly cooking it before he did as he tore into it "Mmm not to mention they are delicous"

"You know what they say, everything tastes better fresh." Iarna said, nuzzling him back affectionately before she began to dig into the second fish she had caught, not minding that it was still somewhat cold and raw. "Mmmm, brings back so many memories." She said happily, for now remembering some of the good times she had had with her family and kept eating her fish until the bones were pretty much all that remained.

With a smile he ate his fish and took out the contract "So here is what needs to be done" he showed her the paper "We need to go find the one who sent out this contract, and why it asked to find you ad bring you back here" he said looking at it "To be honest it sounds fishy."

Iarna reached up and took the contract for a moment, looking over what it said and had to agree with Aldarion on this one. Who would want her being back here after so long? Far as she knew she had no other living relatives other than her younger siblings who had more than likely never would be back after the Shadowseeker attack and the dragoness Crete she met a while ago. "It really does, because I've never known anyone else out here."She said with a nod, handing her partner back the contract.

[Ixion]

"Hmm i might have a theory or two but we'll find out sooner or later" he said with a yawn and leaned his head over blowing fire onto it and relighting the small campfire.

Iarna for now lies on her belly, letting her one wing not over Aldarion's back rest against her side as she glanced at him. "Well we do have time to spare until we move on again so I'd love to hear these theories Aldarion."She said to him, knowing it would be a little while before they moved on.

[Ixion]

"Well one theory is that it's that group of slavers earlier and now want revenge. Or rather their friends." he said "Another could be one of your siblings looking for you or a long lost relative that you dont know about. The last one is some weird sage mystic, person who is also looking for you for unknown reason."

Iarna listened to his theories, finding the first two more likely than the very last one to be possible. "I'm more opt to believe a long lost relative maybe, mean I just discovered I have an older sister out there so wouldn't surprise me at this rate and my two younger siblings won't likely come near here for sometime." She said to him, tapping her lower jaw in wonder of this but shook her head. "The mystic sage though I'm having a hard time seeing that to be honest."Iarna added.

[Ixion]

He shrugged "Well they are just theories, we'll learn more once we get to target destination" he smiled at her "But even then you'll have me there with you so you won't be defenseless." he leaned on her "So how goes the physic training, I heard Ixion was showing you a bunch of fun stuff"

"Well guess anything is possible."Iarna said with a smile, "And indeed, if anything does go wrong I know you have my back and I have your's."She said with a smile, for now not letting the contract bother her as they would have plenty of time for that later on. Besides, they were still taking their break anyway so it was really no use dwelling on it for the time being.
Though she smiled a bit when he inquired about her psychic training, "It's going well actually. My concentration has definitely been improving and I'm beginning to get better with the control as well so think it's coming along."

"Thats good at least you are getting some training" he said looking outside and seeing snow fall "It's getting pretty late tho" he observed noting the change in the color of the sky. Kissing her cheek he yawned and shivered "Ugh damn cold."
