"Walking it is,"Iarna chuckled as she then nodded, "Continue we shall."She said with a slight smile before she began walking onwards towards the village she had come to a few times in her youth. Though as she walked she had to somewhat push her way through the snow in some places, grunting when she fell once ore twice. "Watch your step too, there are some dips in the ice."

"Ah the frozen north, still trying to turn this hot bastard into an ice cube" he laughed at his joke looking at her "So did you know that Ixion fella had a daugther, she is really young tho and could use some training."

Iarna chuckled slightly as she shrugged, "Well fire wouldn't last long out here Aldarion, maybe it's trying to snuff out you too."She teased before shaking her head. "You mean other then the one we saw before? The purple dragoness that is."She asked, only knowing of Trish who they saw back at the temple.

He blinked several times "I honestly don't remember" he chuckled "I'm not good with kid names" he said "Although from what I heard is that she left to go training with a bunch of people" he said.

"Well doesn't surprise me, some young dragons want to learn all they can before they are too old to learn anything else. Some just have a mission in mind." Iarna said with a slight shrug, not really surprised by these actions as she kept walking, finally finding snow that crunched beneath her feet instead of surrounding her legs. "Guess I'm not really seeing how this is really news though."

"Well apparently from what I over heard before we left was that she had accepted some phoenix blood and became somewhat a dragon phoenix hybrid" he said stepping over a puddle.

"Hm, very weird to under go a change like that but guess anything is possible."Iarna said, having not heard this change but hadn't really paid much attention in recent days. She had been fairly busy with her training, studies, and doing other things then really paying attention to someone's change in looks. As surprising as it was she hadn't heard about it until now.

[Ixion]

"Yea it was strange she also looks older like closer to mine and your ages yet she is still younger then us. She even grew a few quills" he said as he walked alongside her "How much further is the village?" he asked looking to the sky seeing the sun in mid day.

"Guess it gave her a growth spurt too." Iarna said as she thought of what Aldarion said, least this is what it sounded like. Sometimes a transformation of anything tended to have side effects, really no different from magic from time to time when certain dragons and other creatures used it. "Not far actually, would have been quicker in flight but with you not use to the cold we'll be there soon."She assured him, nodding towards one that was just in sight.

"Good I'd rather spend it in a warm body with a warm body with me" he said with a smile as they walked "So what does this town deal in?" he asked looking at her as they walked.

"Hmm, to be honest I don't quite remember. It's been quite a lot longer since I was here last, maybe since before I was a juvenile so don't recall much about it." Iarna said as she thought for a moment, trying to recall what the town often had. "I know some of it is in jewels and shells, usually quite an attraction for visitors. And I think one place does plants, usually though they have to grow it themselves."She recalled as they finally made it to the town.

AS soon as they made it he noticed something off "Where is everyone?" he said as he looked around. They may be far north but there should be at least some people. As they continued he began to grow more and more disturbed "something's not right stay close." he said.

Indeed something was off, and Iarna couldn't help frowning slightly. Where was everyone? This place was usually busy with villagers and at least some visitors but there was no one, it seemed like they had just up and left. "I don't know, but there is certainly something wrong here."She agreed as she tensed slightly, now being ready for just about anything.

Walking to the inn he opened the door and looked around and saw only a few patrons and the bartender. Sighing with relief he motioned her in and went to the bartender "Room for two" he said placing some gold on the counter.

Iarna paused outside as Aldarion opened the door, but didn't follow immediately as she remembered many a time that this place had been busy. Now it might as well have been a ghost town. Finally she stepped inside and closed the door coming up beside Aldarion at the counter but couldn't help asking, "Excuse me bartender, you don't happen to know why this place is so deserted do you?"She inquired.
