Grabbing the blade he ran in expecting something strange but only came to her and the bulged belly "What the hell?" was all he could ask.

slamming her claws into the ground and digging her ground with ease, she clenched her teeth as she looked at Keales. "this is your fault! you did this..." Akrina stopped as she turned her head and vomited. as the pain of the accelerated pregnancy and the beginning of the birth covered her like a blanket, her body twisted and convulsed in ways that were disturbing.

[Ixion]

"Just shut it and relax" he said as he moved to her side and rasied hands above her and started to use his magic to calm her body the spot where his fur was missing in plain sight were he had inflicted pain upon himself.

["Cosmos"]

as the convulsing of her body from the rapid development came to a noticeable twitching, the pain still rocked her body vividly. clenching her eyes shut and her eyes closed, she dug her claws into the ground as her body was wracked with birthing pains.

He started to sing a complex song that was meant to calm her nerves further as the song reached her ears the strange lyrics began to make sense.

as the strange song entered her mind, it tried to calm her nerves with no avail. reaching out and clutching his shoulder that she had bitten, she squeezed as she opened her eyes. "help me you idiot! don't you know a birth when you see it!" she yelled at him, digging her claws into his shoulder.

He didnt stop his song as he moved quickly, he had done this for his mother once before when she gave birth to his siblings, whether she knew it or not he continued to do his part in helping with child birth.

releasing her claw from his shoulder, she clutched at anything else as the pains washed through her body over and over. for several minutes she took deep breaths and a followed Keales's words, already feeling something weird about the new life that was being born.

He kept chanting as he continued his chanting his runes summoning necessary supplies, his hands were slightly shaky knowing this was his child as well as hers but he had no room to falter.

as she screamed in pain as the birthing went into its first hour, a strange haze began to enter her mind. as time passed, the haze just sat in her mind as the pain became so unbearable. after what felt like forever, the haze suddenly flashed in her mind, a shape in it that looked like a hybrid of a dragon and a feline. as the realization came through the pain, a shiver of fear ran down her spine as she understood what corruption happened.

He understood what she felt as he found the crystal containing the fel energy but he had a plan for that as he continued to work for a few hours. In the final moments a cry could be heard of the new born child.

breathing in deep gulps of air, Akrina laid sprawled out as the cries of the newborn child rang out around the cave. lifting her head slight to see the child, the fear she felt was realized when she saw that it wasn't like her and Keales, but feral to the core in appearance, sharing their appearances. closing her eyes, fresh tears came from her eyes as she began to cry.

Bringing his finger up he cut a wound in his own arm and took the blood on a finger and made a rune on the chest of the child. The rune was a control one and would help the child regulate the feral side. He hadn't realized he was holding his breath and let out a sigh. Moving slowly as the blood made a permanent rune he placed the child on her chest for her to see "I'm sorry for what i've done to you" he said hoping she understood his sorrow for what he had done.

remaining silent as she cried, all she could do was lightly wrap her arm around the newborn. rolling onto her side, she curled up with the newborn as her crying turned to silent sobs.

He sat by her as the they both fell asleep he went back outside and sat down as he stared at the missing fur on his arm and scorched skin and remained out there for a while.
