Secrets of the Past and Conquerers

Grabbing it he threw it to the floor and swiftly pressed his foot to it's neck and held it there slamming both his swords into it's arms.

["Cosmos"]

standing up, Akrina looked down at the ghost-like creature as it struggled under Keales. looking at the spot where it was pulled from the wall, she noticed that a small hole let a strange scent seep into the cave. "what is that thing?" she asked, as she moved over to investigate the hole.

[Ixion]

He leaned close to it his own runes glowing an eerie blue as he leaned close to the thing "Looks like a wisp of some sort, I've only met one and this looks nothing like it, too ethereal."

["Cosmos"]

saying nothing, Akrina examined the wall the hole was in. pushing her sword into the hole, she jerked the handle, standing back as the entire wall crumbled like it was freshly dry mud. "i don't think this is going to be fun," she said, as she began to walk down the path that was now open.

[Ixion]

"Yea, something tells me there are going to be graves down that way." he said as a loud snap was heard, the wisp wailed and faded away as he killed it.

["Cosmos"]

continuing down the path, Akrina soon came to a device that looked like it was more ancient then the mountain. laying a hand on it without thinking, she instantly drew her claw back with a yelp of pain. watching the talon-like growths that had retaliated against her, a faint glow began to light the darkening path, showing a cavern full of numerous armor sets laying on the ground. crouching down next to one of them, she looked at Keales. "your kinda right," she said, flipping the helmet of the armor set, revealing the skull that was nearly crumbled away from time.

[Ixion]

"Looks like an ancient battle ground, or a rundown mass grave." he said as he pulled her shoulder. "Dont mess with stuff, this place has a strong spiritual pull annnnd there is a full bodied ghost right in front of us: he said indicating to the spirit.

["Cosmos"]

standing up and looking at the spirit, Akrina remained silent. watching it, she waited for something to happen.

[Ixion]

"Interesting seems sentient" he stepped forward and bowed his head "Greeting spirit me and my companion mean no harm." he said.

"Humility...something i haven't encountered in a long time. You are welcome here, Panther kin. You what are you?" the spirit asked.

["Cosmos"]

"i'm a Dragonborn, a being not of this world," Akrina said, slightly nodding her head.

[Ixion]

"Greetings then"

Keales looked at her "So tell me spirit why have you not departed from this realm?"

"We guard an artifact, it belongs to someone who will return soon" he said as he indicated further down the tunnel.

["Cosmos"]

looking down the tunnel, Akrina used her expert sight to see beyond the veil of the darkened light. unable to see anything from there, she remained silent.

[Ixion]

"I see and what is this object" with his question the hall way snaped shut in front of them.

"That is no concern of yours."

"Right right, well perhaps you can tell us what happened here?" as he said this the ghost nodded.

"Yes I can but the storm is preventing me to stay for now" and with that he disappeared "Also don't touch my skull again."

watching the spirit fade away, Akrina sat down and let out a sigh. sticking the sword into the ground in front of her, she folded her wings close to her back.

He sat back with her and yawned "You don't mind spending the night in a under ground graveyard."
