controlling her breathing and wiping the saliva from her lip, Veras looked up at Teresa. “that was an old rumor, spread so that Faerie and Pixie Dragons would be left alone. we can only have offspring without repercussions if there is a large build-up of Nature energy,” she said, spitting out a black ooze that looked unnatural. looking at the ooze, she shook her head. “damn, i’m not there yet,” she said, more to herself then anyone else.

She looked at the elder "Gours weed, you got any?" Volteer nodded and left and looked at her "The princess told me of an old trick the weed will help with your sickness"

raising her claw and slamming it onto the ooze, she shook her head. "this isn't a sickness. this is what happens when we Nature Priestess's are filled with unnatural power. my case, i was attacked by a Shadowseeker, and narrowly escaped its venoms effect, but not the corruption. the flower tells the tale," Veras said, the pointed to the rose on her back. as another one of the petals turned a disturbing blackish color, it fell from her back.

"Trisha use your phoenix breath" she said turning to her daughter. Trish nodded and walked over and slowly breathed a soothing fire on her trying to heal whatever damage was done to her.

["Cosmos"]

as the calm-like fire surrounded her, Veras jumped away from it and hug up against the wall. "are you insane?! there is a reason the home of the Natura Dragons is, was, and will always be in the Kingdom of Aquarius. we are weak to fire to the point that a mere spark of an ember can kill us, that includes that type of fire too," she spoke, her voice showing the fear of the fire.

"Phoenix fire is healing not killing" Teresa said "We can never use it to harm that is the one rule of the phoenixes"

"Faerie dragon you must trust us, you are dying and you know it. This is the only way." she said

speaking in the language that she spoke in before, she painfully plucked a petal from her rose. "that is the one thing that Phoenixes try to hide out of shame and despair," she said, throwing the petal at the non-burning flames. the moment the petal touched the flames, it instantly turned to ash as it reacted with the flames.

Teresa then looked at her "Then we will do something else, Trisha primal, we are going to reset your nature balance." she said knowing that the primal lightning was more in tune with nature.

snapping her jaws at them, she growled at them. "you do it, and i will bring this place down to the ground, until it is rubble," she spoke, her chest starting to hurt as her breathing started to labor.

[Ixion]

"Would you rather die, or live to see your people again your choice and it needs to be made now." Teresa said sternly to the younger dragon.

spreading her petal-like wings wide, Veras looked at Teresa with the irritation from before. "so high and mighty, it seems. my grandmother was right. and so you know, i'm already dead," she said, saying the last word with force as she whipped her wings in front of her. sending blades of wind that literally sliced the air itself, the wind blades soared past the two dragonesses. circling around, they sliced cleanly through the Faerie Dragoness's body, rending her to pieces in seconds. oblivious to all, that tiny roots connected the deceased dragoness claws to the ground.

She shook her head "Idiots the lot of them, I hate when they call us high and mighty acting like they know everything. Regeneration will heal her of course but it will return it always does" she said waving her claw around unamused.

as the blood seeped from Veras's body parts, it suddenly turned to sap as her pieces turned to wood. as a teasing laugh filled the room, a small claw burst from where the tiny roots connected the dragoness copy's claws with the floor. dragging herself out of the floor, Veras still was laughing as she stood up and shook the bark pieces off her scales. "high and mighty, not really. full of hot air, sometimes. out of touch, depends. but you certainly haven't lost your touch of compassion," she said with a wide smile, her rose releasing a sweet smelling scent.

Teresa smirked and looked at her "Out of touch yes I'am but you on the other hand should tell me when you are in disguise" she said with a sly smile.

tilting her head in confusion, Veras's body suddenly froze still. as her eyes glazed over with a blue-green tint, a cute giggle left her mouth. as her body unfroze, she looked at the dragoness with a smile. "its not really a disguise, since Veras is the real one. its nice to see you again, Teresa," she said, the obvious change between this new being and the Nature Priestess.
