looking at Teresa, Tomanuri suddenly turned his gaze to the door to the dining hall. "we're not expecting you, i believe. come on in," he called out, as his niece looked at the door. pushing the door open, the robed figure limped in, one of its arms in a sling across its chest. "nice to see you too, sand prince. i couldn't miss my sisters birthday, even wounded," he said, sitting down and pulling the hood off. looking at everyone as the walls became nearly pitch black, Rygat looked at everyone, his eyes covered by his scarf, with blood dripping from under the fabric. with what light hit him, his body looked like he had been in a war without rest.

"Rygat!?" Ixion stood and walked over to him "Are you ok, looks like you have been through hell and back" he said examining his wounds trying to pin point their origin types as Teresa and Lilly looked on.

"Hi uncle Rygat" Trisha said as his nieces and nephews charged his feet chatting happily at him.

"don't worry, Ixion, this is nothing really. just protecting my mate from Shadowseekers, and haven't gotten the chance to heal up," Rygat said, as he smiled down at the children. suddenly, a small head slowly perked up from his fur crest. lifting his arms up and picking the newborn from his crest, he held his child in his arm. "i almost forgot, meet Corana," he said, as the newborn slowly opened its eyes to look at everyone with its greyish eyes.

"Awww" both Teresa and Lilly had move the instant the baby was revealed as they both oggled the child pushing Ixion away looking at the baby.

"Well they do like children" Trisha said with a laugh watching the two adults oogling the baby.

smiling, Rygat looked down at his newborn daughter. seeing her slightly cower in fear as the two females got close, he raised a claw at Lilly and Teresa. "please, she isn't used to being outside the Enchanted Forest. your scaring her," he said, as Corana lightly clung to his arm. looking down at his daughter, he comforted her. "don't worry, my darling. they won't hurt you," he said, taking off his robe with a pained groan. as he took his robe off, his entire body was littered with wounds and gashes, roughly bandaged and seared shut.

Teresa looked over his body "Does no one know how to properly heal each other these days?" Sh joked and hovered her hand over him letting her nature magic worked to heal his wounds with a smile.

Ixion watched "Where is your mate, you two are welcomed here. You can even find a house for your family" he spoke.

shaking his head, Rygat lightly pushed Teresa's hand away. "its ok, i chose to keep these wounds, so i must bear them," he said, as he nuzzled his daughters cheek. looking at Ixion, he let out a sigh. "we chose to live away from cities and villages because of the ghosts of our past. we help each other through them, when no one else will," he spoke, the shadows on the wall turning even more pitch black.

"Well, if you two ever get past that stage of your life you are welcomed here as family" Ixion said with a smile as Teresa nodded at his decision "As yes Rygat this is my ex-mate Teresa".

"How do you do brother to my ex-mates new mate" she said with a smile as Trisha nodded with her.

looking at Teresa, he nodded at her, then looked at his older sister. seeing her in the Light sphere, she looked to him as if she was drunk. smiling as he walked towards her, he couldn't help but laugh. "look at the birthday girl, drunk out of her mind," he said, setting his daughter down and placing his claw on her head.

[Ixion]

"More in a trance, she was feeling uneasy so my mate helped her a little" Teresa said looking at her humming to the song in her head "Although you can say she is drunk on life" she said with a laugh as her form flickered slightly "Ah damn i better be getting back now." she smiled at everyone and nuzzle her daughter "Take care all of you and good luck i'll see you all agian" with that her form disappeared.

Ixion let out a long drawn out sigh "That is something I would have never expected" he said.

not replying to her words until after she had faded away, Rygat ruffled his sisters head with his claw. "i hope your enjoying yourself, Martivir. first time tasting the Light. must be delicious," he said, remembering his first time he was like this.

"Yes she has and also enjoyed her first clutch" he said remembering how excited she was when the children had finally hatached and spent most of the time with them and still does "She is a loving and caring parent" he said and looked at him "So what about your mate how is she?" Ixion asked

smiling when he heard she was enjoying being a mother, Rygat suddenly grew sad as he was asked how his mate was. seeing his sadness and grew sad, despite being so young, Corana let out a yip sound at her father. "regrettably, Cloyee is dying. i've been able to keep her alive this long by infusing my life essence into her, but it is starting to not work," he said, as tears came to his eyes.

Unable to say anything he began to think about what could be done but if anything it would be up to fate to decided "I...I wish I knew what to say. All I can say is I will hope that she will live and that fate will be kind to the two of you" eh said placing a comforting claw on his step brother's shoulder. He felt for him, he had felt the same when he had learned of Teresa's fate shortly after awaking from his own slumber.

"thank you, Ixion. let us just hope that the gods will be merciful and allow her to live. i don't want to continue on without her," he said, then sat down on his hind legs. raising his claw to his face, he covered his face as he began to quietly cry.
