"Come let's eat and forget our troubles for now" he said guiding him to the table as Lilly followed sitting next to her mate and smiled at her family, Ixion snapped his paw to try to wake his mate from her stupor.

being guided to the table, he tried to control his sadness as he sat down, Corana almost clumsily walked over to her father and climbed onto his lap. as Ixion snapped his claw, Martivir jerked a little as the sphere of Light around her faded away. falling forwards onto the table, she groaned as she slowly grabbed her head. "oh, my head. i feel like i spent the night inside a vat of the strongest brew," she said, holding her head as she rose from the table slowly.

[Ixion]

He chuckled "Probley does feel like that, look who is here" he said with a smile indicating to Rygat and the child placing his paw on hers puzzling her neck"

turning her head to look at her brother, Martivir raised a hand a waved slightly. "hello brother, long time no see," she said, then grabbed her head again. waving back, Rygat looked down at his daughter as he gave her a sad smile. picking up their son, Tomanuri leaned slightly against Lilly as their son sat on both of their laps as he moved right next to he, smiling at her.

[Ixion]

The son began to eat as the siblings where already devouring a large chicken that was put onto the plate nibbling it quickly and eating large pieces. Ixion passed his mate the food that wasn't being devoured. Lilly leaned back on him as she watched her son eat more tamely then her siblings.

taking the food, Martivir held a claw to her head as she slowly ate the food handed to her. as he took a few bites from the food he was given, Rygat looked at Corana as she ate her small amount of food. suddenly, he looked up at a window as he sensed something that was filling him with dread. "i have to go, sorry i can't stay," he said, then the shadows engulfed him and Corana as they disappeared.

They watched as he left and sighed "I hope his mate will be ok, I wouldnt be able to begin to understand how he would be if she died" Lilly said looking at her brother and step-sister wondering what her brother went through before his mate was re-born. She shot her head up suddenly "Wait Trish is it possible to pass on the pheniox blood?"

Trisha nodded "Yea but it is a 2 step process" she replied looking at her aunt.

["Cosmos"]

listening to them speak as she held her head, Martivir threw a biscuit at Trisha. "i can see what is going on with brothers mate, and its not anything that can be healed by medicine or ancient powers. Cloyee is sick with the Scale Death, a plague that no dragon has survived, and is easily transferable between draconic creatures," she spoke, closing her left eye as she saw through Rygat's Shadows. "her life is now on judgements door. only the Twin Gods can make the judgement for her now," she spoke, her sad tone clear as day.

Snapping the biscuit from mid air she nodded "I figured that, plus the way to make a phoenix dragon is sorta taboo, i still have qualms about it even after i did it" she said licking her chops as the siblings gaped at her quick reflexes at snapping the biscuit out of the air.

"i bet you do," Martivir said, then slammed her claw on the table, much to her displeasure. "let us turn to the current moment for now, and give Cloyee a silent pray. we can't have this day turn bad, now can we?" she spoke, raising a glass of some red strawberry-scented wine up.

[Ixion]

Smiling at his mate he bowed his head as did everyone in the room and whispered their prayers of hope and peace to Cloyee their aunt or friends mate. Nuzzling his mate Ixion whispered when they were finished "I hope your brother and sister in law will be ok" he said sadly hoping for the best.

placing her claw on his cheek, she looked at him in the corner of her eye. "they won't be, but thank yo for the support," she said, then drank the glass of wine and swallowed. suddenly, she fell back in her seat as the effects of the wine hit her like a mountain. grabbing her head, she groaned as she was visible drunk. using her Shadows to bring her the bottle, she saw the all too familiar symbol of being one of Convexia's brews.

As Trisha was about to take the bottle Ixion snatched it away and sat it down looking at his mate "Oh yes i forgot to mention, one of her maidens dropped those off about a few days ago. Didn't think the cooks would actually bring them out." he said with a laugh.

"talk about a birthday surprise," Martivir said, then let out a slight laugh, with a hiccup. rolling slowly onto her belly, she slowly made her way to the table, which she grabbed a piece of food. beginning to eat it, she began to wobble, as the wine coursed through her system.

They all began to eat and chat as they continued to eat their dinner hoping for the best for Rygat's mate and talking about Teresa and her new mate. This was especially a hot topic since they had not heard from her from the start "You know Zharitana isn't going to take that well" Ixion said to his mate "And neither is their mother."
