"you could say that, but it was more of a curse. after the extinction of the Siotrax, the Crystal Dragons undergone a cleansing of themselves for their actions, literally nearly ending our entire race. it was the birth of the Crystal Twins that started the Crystal Legacy, and began the isolation from our dark history," Cosmosaura spoke, looking back to Argyros. "as time passed, each generation of Crystal Dragons lessened until my mother was the last of our kind. when i was born, the Crystal Legacy came to an end, since my destiny marked the end of an ancient struggle that gripped the legacy. now, you and my children are the last of the Crystal Dragons," he said, opening three extra eyes that seemed to have blended in with how his body was, one of his eyes sitting on his forehead and being more crystal-like.

"The last ones..."Argyros repeated, glancing away for a moment at this revelation as this now brought some more clarity to his own origins past and likely the mystery of why he had never known his parents. "I almost wasn't one of the last, honestly think I'm lucky to have survived the winds of time." He confessed, glancing back after a bit but was surprised when seeing the three extra eyes which he quickly shook his head to shake it off, knowing it wasn't something he'd seen before. "Wasn't expecting that."He muttered before he continued, "I recently was let out of a crystal encasement of my own work by mistake, if not for the dragoness Zhatriana letting me free your children would have been the last."

"well, it must be nice to be free. anyway, let us get into the temple," he said, as the sky suddenly streaked with lightning. walking towards the temple, Cosmosaura raised his eye ridge at the mention of the name of Zhatriana. as rain started to fall upon the temple, the wind was surprisingly absent as the temple seemed to project a field to keep the majority of the storm at bay.

"Perhaps, I haven't quite decided if this is really something to celebrate or not."Argyros said with a shrug, glancing towards the sky before he began following the dragon towards the temple. Though he noticed the absence of the wind which he kind of was glad for, having to deal with it on the way there hadn't exactly been fun even with Zhatriana's help it had been tough to navigate and he was lucky to crash without breaking something. "Though I'll admit this is quite a place."

"yeah, it is quite a place. the temple is the only structure left standing on the island. if you look under the water, you'll find giant roots that hold the city above the water," Cosmosaura spoke, as they passed an opening in the stone ground, showing the roots below the water. as they came upon the inner edge of the city, he stepped onto the sands that grew great amounts of vegetation, like a mini forest. looking up at the trees, he smiled as he saw that they were growing well.

Curious Argyros paused when they were passing the opening in the stone, looking down enough to see the roots that were holding the city in place which made him smile. This definitely was a unique place and he was beginning to feel more and more at home there, likely because of his own origins. "Maybe one of these days I might consider living here."He said as he followed Cosmosaura to the mini forest, looking around with amazement as they passed under the trees.

"maybe," Cosmosaura said, as he pushed aside a large leaf. tilting his head from side to side, he brushed aside several insects that tried to land on his head. smiling, he looked back at Argyros. "this vegetation is a result of an experiment i started, and its flourishing quite nicely," he spoke, as he ran his claw across the trunk of one of the trees. as he reached the wall of the temple, he turned towards the Crystal dragon. "so, what do you think of the return of Aairua?" he asked, looking Argyros in the eye.

"I see, it seems to be quite a healthy ecosystem." Argyros remarked softly as he followed Cosmosaura still, ducking now and again from branches that still were at his height despite being smaller than the Crystal Guardian. Though once they reached the temple Argyros came to a halt and looked up at the temple, impressed by the architecture of the building and still feeling that same life that radiated off the city and crystals. "I think it's a lost treasure that certainly was worth being found again and restored." Argyros answered honestly, meeting the larger dragon's gaze.

smiling, Cosmosaura nodded and turned to walk along the wall of the temple. within a few minutes of walking, they soon came to the entrance of the temple, which seemed like it was freshly made. starting to push, the doors creaked loudly as they opened for the first time in many millennia. “welcome to the Temple of Aura, Argyros,” he said, as the sweet-scented air of the temple washed over them. smiling as he saw the crystal constructs moving about, he watched as several small constructs with glowing eyes approached.

Glancing up at the temple for a bit Argyros began to follow Cosmosaura along it, his eyes also beginning to look around upon the forest as they passed. More and more the place was a tantalizing place to stay after so long of being stuck in crystal, a place to live peacefully and perhaps find his purpose there. Alas, it was likely not so since the young crystal dragon still felt there were things in the world that he needed to do and had yet to see the changes since his time thirty five hundred years previous. Finally though they eventually came to the entrance of the temple, making Argyros stop to look at the doors.

Listening to the creaking of the doors as they opened told the young male they had not been opened for some time but still a sweet smell came from within, making him taking a deep whiff and actually liking the smell. "I can hardly imagine the inside."He said with a smile as he stepped forward to peek in better but look forward when seeing some crystal constructs approaching them.

"it can be quite something," Cosmosaura said with a smile as he heard Argyros speak. stepping to the side as the small constructs walked up and stood looking at the newcomer Crystal Dragons. "Argyros, meet the souls of some of my ancestors," he spoke, smiling as the construct that held his mother's soul smiled up at the Crystal Dragon. "hello Argyros, its nice to finally meet you. we're happy you are okay," Elementaura's sweet voice spoke, giving Argyros a sweet smile.

Smiling down at the constructs Argyros lowered his head towards them, his crystalline navy blue eyes shifting to Elementaura, "It's nice to meet you and the others as well ma'am. The trip was a long and tough one but I'm glad to have crashed here and get the chance to see such an interesting place." He spoke to her, even more fascinated at how the souls of these dragons could even be in the constructs. Surely this place was more and more mysterious and making it harder for the crystal dragon to not want to leave.

"well, you are allowed to stay as long as you like. this is after all a place for Crystal Dragons to be safe and to rest," she spoke, smiling as a few of the soul constructs began to go dim. turning to Cosmosaura, she smiled as she began to go dim as well. "it seems we've reached our time, son. see you later," Elementaura said with a smile, then the light in the soul constructs eyes faded away. as a few crystal spiders came and picked up the constructs, he watched them until they left his sight. turning to Argyros, he smiled at him. "don't worry, you'll become used to the mysteries in this place if you stay long enough," he said, walking towards a table with a chest. tapping it and opening it after it shook slightly, he pulled out a basket full of food. "you hungry?" he asked, as he brought the basket of food over to the Crystal Dragon.

Argyros smiled as he nodded, watching as the crystal constructs beginning to dim one by one and eventually Elementaura as well. Lifting his head he glanced back to Cosmosaura and could only nod slightly, figuring this might be the case but knew it likely wouldn't be anytime soon that he'd understand the mysteries. "No thank you, I ate before I headed to this island." Argyros assured Cosmosaura, knowing he had eaten quite a bit the days before since he had been quite famished then.

nodding, Cosmosaura gave the basket to a more dragon-like construct, which it took away down a passage. "so, where would you like to see first?" he asked, looking at Argyros. while some of the chambers were locked to a newly arrived Crystal Dragon, he knew that there were many places in the temple that he was allowed to show him.
