looking at the plaque on the pedestal, he wiped the tears from his face as he was read the writing. "she was my older sister, and wasn't even born a Crystal dragon. she fell to darkness and nearly killed me, but it seems she returned from the darkness, and found true love before the end. she truly earned a place among us," he said, smiling as he stroked her crystal-encased cheek like a loving brother.

"I'm sorry to hear that,"Argyros said but the talk of family was beginning to weigh a bit on the young crystal dragon's heart as he looked away for a moment, looking at the rest of the pedestals that bore the statues of crystal dragons from the past and likely from the present. Some were his own ancestors and two or more likely of his own family that had left him at the temple. He had never really known a family, never knew if he had siblings, never knew his parents or even any grandparents. It was something he had always wondered of having and began to figure he was left at the temple so he was protected.

Looking down at the ground Argyros now began to wonder if he should have even come to that island. "Maybe I've made a mistake coming here Cosmosaura, see all our ancestors, learning our history...it's never anything I expected and now it makes me wonder if I was better off never coming here and making things worse." He said as it was becoming quite clear this was beginning to affect him.

"don't say that, Argyros," Cosmosaura said, turning towards him. "by coming here, you have gotten answers to questions that have long been unanswered. by coming here, you have learned that you have a home in a world that is different from how you remember it. anyway, by coming here, you know you have a friend that will help you whenever you need it," he said, walking over to him and raising a claw up.

"Perhaps your right,"Argyros said, still feeling down about this and wondering if he bit off more than he could chew or in other words had asked for too much too soon. Of course, he was a tough dragon and could handle a harsh truth but this...this wasn't exactly what he expected and wasn't prepared for, maybe even sought out this place far earlier than he should have. "Maybe it's just I asked for more than I was ready to take in Cosmoaura, probably pushed to far in knowing more about the Crystal Dragons. I can handle harsh truths but even this is a lot to take in."He admitted.

placing his claw on his shoulder, Cosmosaura nodded at him. "your not the only one to go through that too. i could barely hold myself together after learning that i was to fight our ancient enemy, but i held together for the future. let me show you to where you can rest, so that you can sort out what you have learned," he said, smiling at Argyros.

Looking back up at Cosmosaura Argyros nodded slightly as he glanced back at the chamber, deciding looking more at the Crystal Legacy could wait another time. Right now he just needed a moment to get his thoughts sorted out and really let everything sink in to what he had already learned in the short time he was there, "Lead the way."He finally said.

nodding, Cosmosaura turned and walked out of the massive chamber. leading through the halls for several minutes, he paid no mind when each of the passages that they passed were blocked by crystal pillars. coming to a door that was made of a mix of wood and crystal, he pushed it open and walked in. stepping aside from the door, he looked at Argyros, then to the furnishing of the room. "i hope you like the accommodations," he said, looking at the close-to-luxurious furnishings.

Following Cosmosaura from the chamber he looked around as they walked for several minutes, his eyes staring at the crystal pillars they passed. Many times he wondered what were down some of the passages that were being blocked and half wondered if it was to prevent a newcomer like him going into the places he wasn't meant to be. Though he could easily break down those crystals or manipulate them aside he knew he likely shouldn't snoop around to begin with despite his curiosity that got to him on occasion.

Soon though when they reached the room once again Argyros found himself quite surprised at the accommodations that were quite luxurious looking despite it being an old city. "Have to admit, not quite what I'm used."He admitted as he stepped inside and looking around for a moment at the new room.

smiling, Cosmosaura shrugged his shoulders. "not my first choice either, but this is how i found these guest rooms. i still find it strange that most of the furniture in the temple is such of high class, but how can i argue with the choices made long before i was born," he said, smiling as he took a seat on a cushion.

"Suppose your right on that one,"Argyros said as he looked around the room fro now, occasionally running his paw of some of the furniture and really surprised some of this stuff seemed in rather mint condition. It was something still strange to the young dragon despite having lived in luxury briefly after his hatching back at the temple but he had since then been use to the wilderness and untouched places of Concurrent Skies, "Honestly the last time I spent much time in civilization was back at the Dragon Temple in the Swamp. But I left there to find a real place to train myself to my fullest instead of being hindered there."He told Cosmosaura.

"must of been a different place back in the past. but you don't need to worry about much civilization here for a while, except for my mate and children," he said, smiling as he heard the laughter coming from further down the hall. looking up at the ceiling, he saw a vine start to push through the wall as his experiment continued to work on the temple. "seems my experiment is working perfectly," he said, as more vines started to push through the wall. as the vines worked through the temple, they didn't make any cracks in the crystal-like stone, as the temple seemed to shift instantly, like it was alive.

"I'd say your quite lucky to have a second chance honestly, to have a family you can always look forward to."Argyros smiled a bit then, "Seems like it'll make the temple quite the lively place I'd say." Though Argyros than glanced towards the walls then, watching the crystal vines creeping along the wall and the temple seeming to shift and not take any damage in the least. "Seems like it, I've been sensing that this place has felt alive since I got here."He stated.

smiling at his words, Cosmosaura stood up and walked over to the vines. placing his claw on the vines as they grew, he could sense that the vegetation was adapting quite well to the island. as he removed his claw, crystal-like flowers grew from the vines. "well, Argyros, soon you may be able to make a place of residence in a forest. my experiment is working three times faster then expected, and that forest that surrounds the temple is nearly large enough to provide shelter," he said, smiling at the smaller Crystal Dragon.

"Maybe one day Cosmosaura, but there are many things in this world that has likely changed and who knows what I have yet to discover. Zhatriana told me some things but there is likely many more things I have not discovered nor witnessed and there are many other experiences I still have yet to have." Argyros said with a nod, watching the flowers grow from the vines and smiling faintly. He knew he had a lot he had yet to experience, such as being able to live a long life, having a mate and children, just traveling without looking over his shoulder... the list went on and on. He just knew it would be many years before he'd consider settling down for good.

nodding, he returned to the cushion and sat down. "i'm envy of you, able to travel and explore. i'm bound to this temple, and can't leave. its not bad, though, most of the people that knew me think i am dead now, even my own soulmate and children," Cosmosaura said, looking a little sad as he thought of his soulmate and his children that he had with her. shaking his head to free himself of his slight sadness, he waved a claw. "i'm the Crystal Guardian now, so that life is over. plus, i have to return this city and the Primordials to the world."
