The Ruby Demon meets the Vampire

standing up weakly, Convexia moved over to her. helping her to the cushions, she helped Lilly and made her comfortable. "your in no condition to travel, especially when the storm is still raging," she said, grabbing several warm blankets.

[Ixion]

"I need to get to my mate before the egg comes" she said as she was laid down and groaned as another cramp ravaged her belly.

["Cosmos"]

"no! if you leave, the storm will do you harm, and most certainly kill the unborn," she said, laying the warm blankets over her. making her as comfortable as possible, she sat next to her. letting out a sigh, she spoke, "i promise, once the storm passes and the egg is safe, i will personally take you to Warfang. you will not be any shape to travel, let alone move around."

[Ixion]

She sighed looking up at her "Fine, I'll stay but I'll need a way to go speak with my mate and tell him i'll be delayed for a while." she said looking serious.

["Cosmos"]

shaking her head, she looked at her. "i'm sorry, but we don't have any ways of communication. i can send one of my best messengers if you would like," she said, then made a series of loud clicks. within a minute, a maiden walked in wearing a full set of strange armor. flexing her arms, the maidens wings were connected to her arms. lifting her helmet visor, the Bat-Kin female smiled at Lilly.

Looking at the Bat-kin she smiled "Could you deliver a message to Tomanuri in Warfang Temple. Tell him that I have got caught in a storm and I'am currently waiting for the storm to pass before I can travel again...and tell him if he gets into any trouble while im gone I will personally lock him in our room."

["Cosmos"]

listening to the message, the Bat-kin nodded at her. placing the visor over her face, she spread her arms wide, making her wings unfurl fully. as her form seemed to fade, she jumped up with a flap, flying right through the ceiling. smiling at Lilly, Convexia spoke, "i certainly know how to pick my handmaidens."

[Ixion]

She nodded "Quite" looking at her she smiled "So then you must have a new mate. I can tell cause your eyes tell the story of love" she said with a grin.

["Cosmos"]

"no, not a mate, but another lover who loves me back. plus, i found my first daughter that i have forgotten for years, who is also one of my new lovers" Convexia said, grinning at Lilly. looking at the door, she closed her eyes as she envisioned the future of what this old fortress could be. "soon, they will be brought here, and the Vexpyre Keep will be born," she said, opening her eyes.

Lilly smiled looking at her "That's good but about the daughter part I'm not sure. But it's not my life, so tell me a little about yourself."

["Cosmos"]

"those born from my bloodline follow the laws of Nature, so prejudice and judgement cannot be cast on us for our ways of creating life. plus, i am a Broodmother, so i need to have many lovers, even if they are females," Convexia said, smiling at Lilly. moving to stand beside her, she laid down and placed a claw on her belly, using her Blood Magic to calm the majority of the cramping. looking away from her, she began to speak, "well, you already know my name, and know that i was once one of Malefor's top general. other then that, i am the last of the Vampire Dragons, and as such, am haunted by my ancestors to follow the dark paths they did. i have been able to prevent myself from following them, and from letting them take control of me, but i am still susceptible to their influence. i have begun to undertake a process to cut their power over me, but it requires the blood of unique and rare creatures." as she stopped talking, she looked at Lilly in the corner of her eye, licking her lips unthinkingly.

She looked at her with a raised brow "Oh and what specsis blood is needed to keep them at bay" she had a sneaky suspicion but did not say anything about it. The vampires as she remembered were a trusted ally of the lores and did not want to think of nothing but of them as allies.

turning her head towards her, Convexia stared at her. "i have gained seven blood-traits, if i estimate correctly, i need three more," she said, looking her in the eyes. moving her claw from Lilly's belly to her arm, she pricked her with her claws, drawing a drop of blood. as she ripped the knowledge from her blood without her knowing, she could see great blood-traits she could use to finally free herself from the torture of her ancestors.

She watched as she drew that small amount of blood and looked into it. "If my blood is needed to release you then you can have some." she said calmly shifting in place.

["Cosmos"]

hearing her words, Convexia gave Lilly a sweet smile. "i thank you for that, but i cannot take that offer, at least yet," she said, placing her claw back on her belly. "if i took that offer, i would be risking the life that will soon enter this world," she said, nuzzling her belly. suddenly, she recalled her head in slight shock, having felt a slight kick from her belly, but her numbing on Lilly's senses still active.
