The Ruby Demon meets the Vampire

She groaned again despite the numbness "Oh that one felt off wonder why" she said as she gripped her belly again closing her eyes.

["Cosmos"]

"i think it best i keep you in a numbed state for now, cause i think its almost time. i'm not sure how to explain it, but your going to give birth to a live baby," Convexia said, then let loose a loud whistle. moving to the door, she threw open the door. as several maidens carried in several medical supplies, they got things ready for when the delivery was to begin. moving to sit beside Lilly's head, she placed a claw on her forehead. "your going to need all your strength for what will begin soon," she said, gently running her claw through her mane.

She was shocked to hear what was going on in her belly as she pressed her paw against it, a live baby. She heard that it was only a very rare occasion and back then it was an almost sure sign of a dark or light element child including the in between element Nexus a magical element which was very rare even rarer in these times. She was right she would need all of her strength to give birth to this child.

hearing the sounds of the twins coming, she waved her tail at them as they entered the room. as the two avian sisters moved to stand on each side of her, they began to examine Lilly to get ready. "Hawk-kins are experts in the medical fields, so your into safe talons," Convexia said, smiling down at the ruby dragoness, as the avian sisters did their work.

Lilly watched as the two avian approached and let them do their work.

Hours had passed as the procedure went through and the child was coaxed into the world. The cries of the young dragon rang through the halls as it was brought into the world. Lilly laid exhausted and used up much of her energy. In her clutches sat a young dragon with scales the combination of blue and violet shifting constantly in the light.

as the hours dragged on and Lilly gave birth to her new child, Convexia had sat there unmoving, stroking her mane for comfort and helped her with her claw in her own. as the avian sisters placed the crying child in her arms, they smiled at the exhausted dragoness. wiping the sweat from their faces, they nodded at Convexia as they began to leave the room. moving to sit at her waist, she placed her claw in the blood that came from the birth. placing the bloody claw on her belly, she used the blood to repair the damage that fell upon dragon species that weren't naturally able to give live births.

"Thank you" she whispered as she fell asleep her body exhausted from the work she had to do to bring the baby to the world of the living.

["Cosmos"]

"your welcome, dear," Convexia said, smiling at her as she fell asleep. laying next to her, she followed her as she slowly fell asleep.

[Ixion]

Once morning came she smiled and looked up and at her chick. IT slept peacefully as its azure mane became fluffy. She kissed the chick on the cheek and smiled nuzzling it.

having woken up before Lilly, Convexia stood up and moved over to her maiden. checking on the new Wolf-kin, she smiled at her as she heard her lightly snoring. hearing Lilly waking up, she moved back over and laid down next to her. looking at the chick, she smiled as she lightly ran the back of her claw along its fluffy mane. looking at its face, Convexia noticed that it had no eyes, but tiny little things that protruded from its head.

"Inherited from the father" she said with a smile "The child can see perfectly fine, even more so he can see what we can with normal eyes." she said with a smiled as the chick began to chew on one of her digits.

["Cosmos"]

"a Sand Dragon," Convexia said, more under her breath. watching the chick chew on her claw, she smiled at it. using one of her claw-fingers to poke the chick, she read its blood. looking at Lilly, she gave her a sweet smile. "congratulations, your child is as healthy as can be," she said, wiping the miniscule dot of blood away.

She smiled a kissed her child again and it responded with a lick. She giggled and smiled at her "My first child, I have never experienced joy such as this" she said with a smile.

["Cosmos"]

smiling at her, Convexia placed a blanket over her and wrapped the chick in a smaller blanket. "the joy of your first child is the greatest joy you'll experience. i barely remember the joy i felt when Sjach was born, cause i lost my memories of it," she said, looking at the door.

[Ixion]

"Sjach...she sounds familiar" she said with a yawn as the chick curled into a ball around her fingers nibbling each one playfully.
