The Ruby Demon meets the Vampire

"from what i know of my own daughter, she is an assassin that hunts corrupt beings of rank in Warfang, and other places," Convexia said, as she continued to look at the door. after a minute, she watched as two maidens walked in, one of them helping the other to walk. being helped to sit down near Convexia, the maiden that was helping the other left the room. looking upon the severely wounded maiden, she just stared at the strange creature, not sure what to say.

[Ixion]

She looked at the creature as well squinting at it "Wh..what is that!?" she asked incredulously. She had never seen such a being here and ever in her life.

["Cosmos"]

"she doesn't look it, but she was once one of the greatest warriors under my guidance. through the years, this dragoness escaped attack after attack by members of the Order, but not without injury. i reunited with her around a year or so ago, and she was beyond the healing some of my maidens can perform. so, i used every once of Blood Magic i could muster to change and heal her. her current injuries are from the siege the Order has started against us," Convexia said, closing her eyes.

[Ixion]

"I see" she sighed "The order shouldnt be together after what was uncovered and what they did. I'll see to it once i return to Warfang that they are dismantled and their leaders charged with war crimes."

["Cosmos"]

"the Order has been around for a long time, and is filled with zealots who will never accept anything else but what they perceive as their truth. the only way to stop the Oder here in the Ebonic Mountains is total destruction of their outpost here," Convexia said, opening her eyes with a tear. raising her head to look at her with her uncovered eye, the maiden gave her a weak smile. "don't worry, my love. soon, the plague of the Order will be over, and we can finally be reunited with our daughter," she said, her voice weak. looking at her shocked, tears began to well up in her eyes as she realized that she knew all along.

[Ixion]

She looked at the dragoness sadly and saw her tears "Whats wrong, did something happen to this child you speak of?" she asked gently and worriedly

["Cosmos"]

looking to Lilly, the wounded maiden smiled at her. "my love must have figured i also suffered memory loss from the attack. but i remember and made sure our child was safe. to this day, i never left her side, even when she disappeared," she said, turning to Convexia and weakly placing a claw on her claw.

[Ixion]

"I'm...glad you two are back together" she said with a smile as the child mewled and bit her a little harder. She could see the peace between the two and looked to Convexia "Tell her about Sjach"

wiping the tears from her eyes, she opened her mouth to start talking. suddenly, she was stopped when the maiden put her finger to her lips. "there is no need to tell me about our child. i have seen her myself before the siege began. she has grown to be a beautiful dragoness," she said, the smile still on her face.

[Ixion]

She smiled "I'm glad you got to see your daughter." she looked at the chick who as chewing her digit "I couldn't bear losing my child so early in it's life."

["Cosmos"]

"don't worry, you won't lose your child. i will make sure of it," Convexia said, smiling at her. as she helped her first maiden to move closer to Lilly to see the child, the Bat-kin came through the ceiling and landed in a crouched stance. standing up soaking wet, she lifted her visor and smiled at Lilly. making a series of clicks and squeaks, Convexia nodded at her. as the Bat-kin walked out of the room, Convexia turned to Lilly. "the message was safely sent. your mate sent a message back too: glad to hear your safe, and hope to see you soon. i promise not to get into too much trouble, but can't promise i won't get into trouble with the temple staff."

She smiled at the message "Ah good to know." She smiled "I can't wait to show him our bundle of joy" she said puzzling the cute child who chipped in response.

["Cosmos"]

hearing the chick chirp at its mother, Convexia smiled sweetly. "the storm will also end soon, so i will be able to take you to Warfang soon," she said with a smile.

[Ixion]

"Thats a plus. So you never told me the current lovers name" she said with a chuckled helping the other female to the bed to rest and went through the processes of using bandages to dress and clean the wounds.

"what do you mean?" she asked, raising a brow at Lilly.
