The Ruby Demon meets the Vampire

[Ixion]

"The newest one you told me about the most recent one?" she said wondering if she could have forgotten about it so easily.

["Cosmos"]

raising her brow-ridges in a 'ah' motion, she grinned at her. "well, you already know my daughter, Sjach, is one of them," she spoke, getting a giggle out of her first maiden. "the second of is a strange dragon named Keales. a Calamity Dragon, or so he says. i read his blood well enough, and i know for sure that he isn't a part of no Calamity Dragon species," Convexia said, kissing Sjach's other mother on the lips.

"Keales?" she looked up in surprise "Black dragon who has a very sharp face, amber gem in the middle of his forehead?" she asked and when she heard Calamity she nodded "Can't believe it he is your mate?" she asked surprised

["Cosmos"]

"mate, no. lover, yes," Convexia said, breaking the kiss with the maiden. looking at Lilly, she asked, "its got you worked up so much about it?"

[Ixion]

"Well that dragon happens to be the princes personal bodyguard who the prince happens to be my mate. As for the little abilty he has, It is a derived from the Calamity dragons so he may have some of that blood inside him.

["Cosmos"]

"well, there is something new. he didn't say anything about that, though that may be the reason he wanted me to destroy the Geas on him," Convexia said, making sure her first maiden was comfortable. turning towards Lilly, she shrugged her shoulders. "you know, now that i think on it, or it may be the buzzing in my head, i think i remember a distant memory of Calamity Dragons. not good ones too," she said, cleaning up the chamber a little.

"Not much is actually known of the Calamity actually they were immensely powerful and even the Dest feared them." she said as the chick investigate the other female.

["Cosmos"]

as Lilly spoke, Convexia began to twitch her eye as memories came to the forefront of her mind. shaking her head, she help the chick up onto the bed her maiden laid on. rubbing her head, she looked at Lilly seriously. "i think i know what happened to the Calamity Dragons," she said, showing no sign of joking.

She looked up and tilted her head "What happened?" she asked wondering what had happened to that race of dragons.

["Cosmos"]

looking at her maiden, Convexia sighed. walking to stand right in front of Lilly, she lightly placed her claws on the ruby dragoness's head. placing her forehead against hers, she spoke, "it would be best if i show you." closing her eyes, she sent her memories into Lilly, allowing her to see them from her point of view.

as the memories raced through Lilly's mind, they showed the entire decimation of the Calamity Dragons at the claws of the darker Vampire Dragons. as they fed on the blood and bodies of each fallen Calamity Dragon, they assimilated the unique traits of them, essentially making every Vampire Dragon carry the traits, especially the offspring.

She shuddered at the memories and looked at her "Is that what truly happened how did you see that happen?" she asked a little shocked at what she just say.

["Cosmos"]

looking away, Convexia shivered visibly. "i have the ability to see and interact with the dead. my ancestors use promises of power, and their own memories, to try and tempt me down the dark paths they took. my mother also was forced down this path, but gave it up after nearly killing my father," she paused, looking at Lilly. "that is why i need those blood-traits, so i won't start the next genecide of another species," she finished, lowering her head slightly.

[Ixion]

Listening Lilly understood and nodded holding out a paw and her forearm "Then take some, I want to bring our people together again like in the past" she said looking dead serious as the chick chirped in agreeing.

["Cosmos"]

looking at her arm, Convexia turned to her maiden. "will you please cover the child's sight, please," she said, as her maiden nodded. covering the chick's eyes, Convexia turned to Lilly and let out a sigh. spreading her wings wide, she opened her jaws wide. moving with speed unmatched, she grabbed Lilly and bit down onto her neck. wrapping her wings around the ruby dragoness, she lightly lowered her to the floor, as the blood began to drip into her mouth. after only a minute, she retracted her thin fangs from Lilly's neck, then used a small sphere of Energy to burn the bleeding marks shut.taking a step back, she licked the blood that didn't make it into her mouth.

With a groan she clenched her teeth a bear the blood drinking. She closed her eyes and drifted off to deal with the pain of the blood drinking knowing this was for her own good and the vampire's. When she finished she panted and held the closed wounds.
