watching her daughter jumped back in shock, she helped her back onto the bed. "its okay, dear. she won't hurt you, i'll make sure of it," she spoke softly, calming down her daughter. "next time you wish to show off, then your welcome to get out of my home. we have enough troubles with your kind," she said, as her son curled up next to her. taking the dagger from its sheath on her back, she placed it on a small table within reach. "i'm not sure if i should teach my knowledge to you, since you are not worthy, unlike my teacher," she said, the dagger strangely remaining balanced on the gem of ice that was imbedded where the hilt meets the crystal blade.

[Ixion]

"What can i do to prove my worth?" she asked looking at the Wolf-kin showing her determined face. She would need all the training she could get if she hoped to find the purple dragon.

["Cosmos"]

as her daughter that was pulling on her hair poked her head out at her mother, the pup was smarter then most of her age. looking at her daughter, she nodded. turning her attention to the dragoness, the pup made a series of growling noises as she pulled at a leather strap that was connected to something that was imbedded in the ceiling workings. "if you want to prove yourself, then you need to show that you can be like us. i have explored this area of the Enchanted Forest, and have found a strange cave with unique materials," she spoke, as her daughter pulled the well crafted stick to her. picking it up and rubbed her daughter's head, she held the stick in front of her. "the only thing you can use it this. no powers, no flight, nothing but this. if you can't overcome the challenges of that place and bring me the materials within, then your not worthy of my knowledge," she said, placing the tip of the stick on the floor, letting go of it and letting it stand balanced.

[Ixion]

She looked at the stick, thinking deeply. Mining with a stick she felt that that there was a deeper meaning and nodded hoping to find it out quickly. Taking the stick she stood and smiled "Deal, do i find this cave on my own is that part of he task?" she asked twirling the stick between her fingers/

standing up and taking the stick from her as she twirled it in her claw-fingers, the Arctic Wolf-kin looked like she could become enraged any minute. "this is the only tool that you can use to protect yourself. this is a ceremonial spirit sword of my people, and is used to test the worthiness of a being. getting to the cave is easy, but getting through it will be your end if you not worthy. that is why your not allowed to use your powers or natural gifts," she said, anger on her voice. pushing the stick into her chest, she turned towards her children. "return alive and with the materials and that item, and it will prove that your worthy," she said, not taking a second look at the dragoness. sitting on the bed, her daughters sat on her lap as her son squirmed up closer to her.

She looked at her at gave her an angry face herself "Fine" she said and turned holding the stick tightly walking out the door. "Of all the beings I had to find her for this type of training" she grumbled as she held the stick looking at it "Sword huh?" she shook her head and kept walking.

["Cosmos"]

closing her eyes, she laid down on the bed as her pups laid with her. "hopefully, she will die peacefully, and not against the inner trials," she said, as she closed her eyes and fell asleep for a nap.

[Ixion]

Walking through the forest she came upon the cave and looked up at it. With a sigh she took the stick ready for an attack she walked in her eyes quickly adjusting to the darkness looking around. As she walked a certain smell came over her and her eyes felt heavy rubbing her eyes she looked back seeing a young purple dragon who giggled and ran off. Tilting her head she ran after it holding the stick. Once she lost sight of it she stopped and looked around trying to find it once more.

as a layer of strange gas covered the ground of the cave, it clung to her claws like it was alive. suddenly, the walls seemed to shimmer as figures formed around her. as large forms of dragons began to take shape, they began to take on the appearance of dragons that were close to her. suddenly, smaller figures formed, which took the shape of several races, being Cheetahs, Wolf-kins and similar races. suddenly, the dragons raised their claws and slew the other beings in cold blood. turning towards the dragoness, they grinned at her, the blood of the innocent covered their faces and body.

[Ixion]

She watched the slaughter and closed her head shaking her head. Something was horrible wrong here something was not right "No This isn't real! None of it whats going on!" she shouted looking at the images they were not real this she was sure of "Your not real"

["Cosmos"]

widening their grins until their teeth were showing clearly, voices echoed around the cave. "this is real. this is the truth of the world," the voices rang around the cave. suddenly, more figures formed, each pair of figures following the actions of the first, all the victims non-dragons and the killers being dragons.

[Ixion]

She stared directly at the image of her father, step mother and blood mother "NO you are wrong, you three would never kill anyone unless you needed to and even then you would try to spare them" she growled holding the stick in front of her "You are all FAKES!" she shouted.

["Cosmos"]

as all the figures began to laugh, the figure of Ixion, Martivir and her blood mother approached her. "you know its true. you can feel it, even now. the feeling of superiority over the lesser races. we are dragons, born to rule the weak. if they will not bow, they will be crushed," they spoke together, as visions of the non-dragon races being slaughtered filled her mind.

[Ixion]

"No you are wrong and I'm right" she said quietly breathing softly "Ancestors help me" she spoke and with a shout she lunged at the images raising the stick high as it began to glow.

["Cosmos"]

as the stick slashed through the figure, it only turned to smoke, before reforming. with a evil grin on its face, the rest of the figures began to laugh maniacally. "you cannot kill the truth, no more then you can change it," the voice of her father filled the area, as the figures closed the gap between her and them.
