["Cosmos"]

as a series of clicking noises rang through the chamber, the mist began to become heavy. suddenly, the stick was ejected from the obelisk, falling to the ground. as soon as the stick settled on the ground, the obelisk sunk into the ground. as light began to soak the walls, it revealed that there were no openings whatsoever, not even any imperfections in the stone.

[Ixion]

Trish felt her body give as she fell to the ground her eyes watering as she realized she might not make it out. "Damn these trails, damn this cave damn that fucking Wolf-kin" she said as she tried to stand but fell.

["Cosmos"]

fading into form from the mist, the Wolf-kin walked up to her and stood there. looking down at her, she picked up the stick. "it seems the dragon has fallen to the tortures of reality. what you are feeling now is the torment of a million beings spanning the length and span of history. will you fall like those before you, or will you become which that has been under your claws for so long." as the figure faded away, the stick fell to the ground, echoing with its contact with the ground. true to its words, a strange symbol depicting a shifting being sat under the dragoness's claws, able to be seen clearly in her near-blinded state, but easily miss-able thanks to the shadows.

She looked at the Wolf-kin and as she spoke she understood. She found her strength to stand up and picked the stick up and limped to where she saw the door before. "I'm not like everyone else" she said as she passed through the door.

["Cosmos"]

as the dragoness walked through the door, a door opened before her. opening into another chamber, this chamber held a single bonfire in the center. on the opposite wall, a door was firmly sealed. appearing once more, the Wolf-kin stood next to the bonfire. "you have overcome the trial of the body, and now the last trial lays before you. look deep within yourself, and overcome the ancient blood." as the figure faded. the bonfire burst into flames, which seemed to only cast light on the dragoness. as the flames reached the ceiling of the chamber, a figure emerged from the flames. as it took shape, it grinned evilly at the dragoness, its appearance mimicking her perfectly.

[Ixion]

She looked at the Dragoness and tilted her head "Who are you. I'm not using any illusion or magic" she spoke directing her attention.

["Cosmos"]

grinning at her, the mimic tilted her head and grinned evilly at her. "i am you, the true you. i will be the one leaving this place, and take the secrets of that wolf," the mimic said, scrapping her claws on the ground. because it mimicked her current appearance, it rose onto two legs and and spread its claws wipe, its claws glinting off the bonfires light.

[Ixion]

Trish looked at it and simply laughed "The True me?" she looked back at it "No you are a fraud a piece of me that couldn't even choose a smart choice" she said waiting for response.

["Cosmos"]

hearing her words, the mimic only grinned wider. "i'm the fraud? i am the truth that all dragons hold, and the truth that is within you too. so, you are the fraud, a shell of what could be great things," the mimic spoke, its voice holding a tone of domination and challenge.

[Ixion]

She raised her hands in a challenging stance "If you are the true me then what does that me huh?" she asked in a mocking tone.

["Cosmos"]

grinning with her teeth showing, the mimic copied her stance. "a waste of time and life," it said, as it waited for the dragoness to act. being a mimic of her, the figure would copy all attacks that the dragoness would threw.

[Ixion]

Instead of attacking she smirked at it "If that is so, why don't you chase me out" she said keeping her mocking tone.

["Cosmos"]

upon hearing those words, the mimic's grin turned into a snarl. not moving from her stance, she looked at the light of the bonfire that shown on the ground with her eyes. "you won't be leaving anyway," the mimic said, snarling at her.

[Ixion]

"Then this means your wrong" she said taunting it "Then you are not the true me and yet you are another nothing that can't live up to it's full expectations." with that said she proceed to walk past the mimic waiting for it to make it's move.

["Cosmos"]

watching the dragoness walk past her, the mimic flared with rage. as it began to become enveloped with a dark-red aura, it roared at her as it began to change. using her Dest transformation, it lunged at her. crashing into her and pinning her onto her back, the mimic grinned at her. "thanks for reminding me that i am superior," it spoke evilly, as it knew that she herself couldn't use her abilities, except for the stick.
