Nyx paused for a moment to listen over the wind, realizing Akrina was right as she began to faintly hear the sounds of something. "Many things can live in these valleys Akrina, mostly tribes then you have the wild creatures like mountain lions, maybe feral dragons, and some creatures formally of the darkness who can still lurk about today."She told her, knowing there were still grumblins that wandered the realms and of course the wyverns that Malefor had created. "Just be on your guard for anything."Was all she could add as she kept walking, finding the path going upwards like the tunnel before.

listening to Nyx as they walked, Akrina just nodded as she looked to the walls of the path. as the path began to tilt upwards as they traveled, she found herself thinking to a similar place like this she had to travel through in her younger years, when she started to train as a scout. flexing her wings, she remembered how she had to traverse the terrain with no help of her wings, remembering the feeling of the bindings of her wings.

Nyx continued up the path, not quite sure how long this one was but suddenly came to a stop as she heard the sound of more sounds. It wasn't really faint now but much closer, and she recognized these sounds from the long years of war during Malefor's reign. "Akrina be ready, seems there are wyverns ahead."She told her, moving a bit more swiftly but surprisingly quiet as well despite her size but at the moment couldn't pinpoint where the sounds were quite yet.

being brought back to the present when Nyx spoke, Akrina heard the sound now too. moving a little faster, the Dragonborn tilted her head left and right, trying to find the direction from where the sounds 'wyverns' were coming from. going faster to move beside Nyx, she pointed to the direction she heard the sounds coming from. pointing straight ahead to where they were going, she suddenly raised an eye-ridge when a new sound reached her expert hearing. hearing the sounds of wings beating, she recognized them as a dragons wings.

Nyx nodded as she came around a corner, meeting a few of the wyverns that had been likely hunting on their own but seemed to immediately become excited when seeing the two. "This will be quick,"She said with a soft sigh before firing several small midnight blue-violet colored flames and easily taking down the wyverns as there were only a few. But when she had finished she noticed Akrina's raised eye brow and listened a bit, beginning to hear the sound of dragon wings. "Guess we are not alone."

"stop," Akrina said, as she looked at the wyverns, who were alive, but barely. walking to where the wyverns laid wounded, she crouched down and looked them over. turning her head to look up, she watched as a dragoness flew into the valley and landed, followed by several wyverns. "so, i was right, not a threat?" she asked, more towards the new arrival then anyone else.

Nyx looked back at Akrina quizzically when she said for her to stop, not understanding why the Dragonborn would say this. She remembered these creatures well and knew they were of dark origins and usually causing trouble all across the realms, so she saw reason to be taking them down before they did. Though the sight of a dragoness with several of them wasn't exactly the most common sight one had so she was quite surprised. "Not a threat? Usually that isn't the case, suppose I was too quick to jump to conclusions."She said, eyeing the dragoness.

as Akrina looked at the dragoness waiting for a response from her, she nodded at the Dragonborn as the wyverns behind her flew over and picked up their wounded comrades. "you are right, strange one, we are not a threat. though surprised we are to see you again, Midnight Shadow," the dragoness spoke, turning towards Nyx. taking a few steps forwards, she gave the elder a polite bow. "it has been quite some time since we last saw each other, at least a few decades. glad to see you've survived the chaos," she said, smiling at her.

Nyx at first didn't think much of the dragoness, feeling a little bad for what she did but would have to apologize when things were done there. That was until the dragoness acknowledged her by her known title and the midnight blue-violet female took a moment to look this dragoness over. Though she wasn't quite sure what to say as she didn't quite remember the dragoness at first, though briefly had to go through her memories. But it didn't take long for her to realize this dragoness was familiar, "Indeed it has, and if I remember correctly you use to be under that general's forces didn't you?"She said, trying to recall the name for a moment before it finally dawned on her. "Convexia if I remember correctly."

nodding at her, the dragoness removed the blindfold that covered her eyes. "you are right. i was known as Tsandine the Wyvern master, since i lead the uncorrupted Wyverns of our forces. i do have to thank you though. we fought in one of the last battles before you left, and you wounded my eyes, and i went blind after the mistress disappeared. don't worry yourself though, cause i was able to save my babies thanks to the blindness," she said, as a few of the Wyverns flew up to her and nuzzled her neck. watching them, Akrina sat down and remained silent.

Nyx frowned slightly when hearing of what resulted from that battle, sitting back on her haunches for a moment, "Still, I am sorry for the loss of your sight Tsandine, but with the heat of battle it was mostly out of attacking and trying to cause little casualties as I could back then."She said as she watched the wyverns and shook her head. "I'll admit, there will be some things I am not proud of back then but I left after because I wanted to get away from a life of battling all the time."She informed her.

walking up to the elder, Tsandine placed her claw on Nyx's shoulder. "don't worry, Nyx, it helped me to connect with my babies even more. i see through them now, and keep them from becoming extinct," she said, then looked to Akrina. "so, strange one, it seems i was informed correctly. thank you for helping me find these wayward children," she spoke, making Akrina look confused.

Nyx nodded, still not happy of hearing this but at least it seemed something positive came out of that battle and she really couldn't say much more. "I apologize for attacking them Tsandine, these days you can't be too sure as before and some of the wyverns are still full of His corruption."She said, referring to Malefor despite the dragon having been locked away supposedly by the elders who had trained him many,many years ago. Though she too looked confused, looking towards Tsandine then Akrina.

looking at Tsandine in confusion, Akrina quickly began to put the pieces together in her mind. "you mean, you came from where the vampire is?" the Dragonborn asked, looking up at her. nodding her head, the dragoness spoke, "our seer sister sensed something in Avalar, and our mistress sent me to search for what our sister sensed. instead, i find some free Wyverns, and the last person we would expect to find." looking at Nyx, the dragoness smiled.

"It must be the energy you were talking about before Akrina,"Nyx said, beginning to piece together everything now as well as she looked at Tsandine. Though she smiled when she mentioned they weren't expecting to see her, "Well I decided it was time I got back into the fight with the realms being under attack yet again. So I travel from place to place as before." She told Tsandine, wondering if it was really news that she was even back.
