Revival

[Ixion]

As the sun beat down on the small glade near a pond a body could be seen as it shuffled and moved sluggishly. It slowly rose to it's feet showing a female dragon figure that was covered in violet scales. The female looked around the glade blinking her eyes quickly as if trying to adjust her vision and when she stopped a wide smile came across her face "I'm back" she said as she stood up and tested her wings "No worse for wear and everything is still where it should be" she said testing her horns next and nodded "Right first ungh!" she groaned as she fell to her knee.

"Damn still pretty weak, been too long since I had muscle and sinew to use. Whelp baby steps Teresa baby steps." she said taking a few small steps trying to get use to her body again. She soon she found herself running and hopping over dead trees smiling as she got use to her body. Coming to a cliff she grinned she jumped off it and beat her wings furiously, for a moment she fell the next she shot into the air in a purple flash as she reached a great height she roared as she hovered in the air.

walking through the extreme marshy forest of the Ancient Grove, a strange wyvernic dragon made his way through the poisonous realm. having returned to the place of his birth, this dragon made his way back to the exact place of the start of his life. having left his soulmate back in the Enchanted Forest, this journey back to this realm was of a personal nature that could be life or death for him.

having walked through the poisonous realm for many hours, the local creatures recognized him instantly, even in this new form, leaving him be with safe passage. soon coming upon a building that had been destroyed close to two years ago, he looked upon his past home, feeling saddened when he remembered the death of his parents. turning his head up and in a certain direction, he began to move in that direction. after walking for many minutes, he soon came upon a large lake, once home to the Elemental Ancient known as Arborick. looking down into the poisonous water that could kill anything that touched it, he took a deep breath. letting it out as a sigh, he was oblivious to the figure above in the sky when he jumped of the ledge he stood on, plunging into the lethal waters, sinking under the waters.

As she hovered her ears began to fill will whispers as an ancient tried speaking with her and directing her. Turning her head to the whispers she nodded "Right, I'll be right there Arborick" turning her body she darted off towards the very same swamp and waters. Landing at the edge she could tell another was here as the waters surface was broken. Her eyes switched to a think layer of membrane and her mouth and nose gained a armor like plating to protect her from the venomous water. She hopped into the water excited to see an old teacher of hers, he was the first and she always lovingly refereed to him as grandpa.

after a minute of sinking through the lethal waters, the young wyvernic dragon gently hit the murky bottom. while he should be dead by now, his eyes opened and he rolled onto his belly. lifting onto his wing-arms and legs, he used his second pair of wings to propel himself through the water. as his gills that were so well hidden on the base of his jaw allowed him to breath under the water, he was gaining strength from the poisonous water.

soon enough, he soon was standing next to the body of the Elemental Ancient Arborick. climbing onto the deceased Ancients chest, he soon got to work carefully digging into the chest of the Elemental, looking for a particular object.

She spotted the other before he did and swam after him wondering what he wanted from grandpa and how he could survive these waters. Using her entire body she swam forward and followed the other. Following him to the bottom of the ocean she watched him dig "You were trained by grandpa too?" she asked watching him dig.

digging deeper into the chest of the deceased Arborick, the violet-colored wyvernic dragon finally got past the hardening wood of its body. before he could reach in and grab what he came for, he heard the female's voice. looking at her, he just looked at her silently before turning back to the opening he dug out. "no, i wasn't," he said, reaching in and grabbing something.

"Well for some reason he is telling me to help you. Any reason why Wyvern?" she asked swimming closer to him looking over his shoulder. she was interested in what he was doing and why, not even grandpa was telling her.

slowly pulling out what he had grabbed, he looked upon the weird mass of vegetation in his claw. "i don't need help. but i think you should head to the surface now," he spoke, pointing to the poisonous water eating away at her scales and the coverings that kept her from drowning. climbing off the body of Arborick, he began to remove several things off the deceased Elemental, while the color of the poisonous water hid what he clearly looked like.

"I'll be fine I've been down here before" she examined her scales "I've got at least an hour before it eats away from my scales and my mask will regenerate faster then it can dissolve." she swam over to him watching "You know grandpa is still telling me to help you" she said "And as my first teacher I'am bound to listen to him" she said.

"i said to get to the surface! the poisons tell me that you reek of decay, and so you are weak," he said sternly, his voice carrying a touch of as if he was holding something inside him back. drinking in the poisonous water, his wings on his back twitched as he held back a hunger that was growing inside him.

"You don't get to command anything shadowseeker, what you think is weakness is hiding a great strength" she said almost shouting back at him "And your venom won't work on me anyways my sister Zharitana has seen to that" she said Her mask regeneration can be seen. She may have just returned to the world of the living but she was more than able to fight a shadowseeker

looking to the side with just his eyes, he listened to what she said. perking up his head, he felt the poisons warning him of something that he knew well. "my disgusting Hunger isn't the reason i said your weak, and i had no intention of using any Shadowseeker trick. look behind you," he said, turning around as he removed the last piece he needed from Arborick's body. looking up, he looked into the massive maw of a creature that looked like a shark with kraken appendages, with its body covered in patches of moss. "get behind me, and don't make any sudden movements," he said, as he slowly took a few steps forward, so to be in the massive creatures sight.

"That thing, figures once grandpa died that thing was released from it`s control." She looked at him with eyes that seemed to tell him whatever "Fine but I'm no weak girl I can assure that" she said, in realty the only reason she didn't want to fight was because she had qualms on figuring creatures of nature and this thing under went massive evolutionary stages.

"i never said you were always weak, only that your weak right now," he said, as he looked up into the creatures eye. breathing in a large amount of the lethal water, he suddenly let loose with an amazing roar, which retained its might under the water as if it was out of the water. looking down at him, the creature opened its mouth and let out a roar of its own, but not so large. raising a wing-claw and setting it against the creatures nose, he patted his claw as he smiled at it. "nice to see you again too. glad to see you haven't gotten into trouble," the wyvernic dragon spoke, his watery voice teasing and kind.

She swam close to it examining "You were an egg last time I saw you" she said nodding "Grandpa did know how to raise these things" she said patting it`s head looking at him "Now why are you really here?" She asked raising a brow. Grandpa was whispering to her constantly wondering why.
