"i came back home because of Toxia. she requested for me to get Arborick's heart," he said, holding out his claw with the mass of vegetation in it. before anything else could be said, he pushed with his legs, making his way to the surface. under barely a minute, his head emerged from the poisonous water and he walked onto the small island in the middle of Arborick's Grove.

[Ixion]

She followed him And climbed onto the small island "Why is this Toxia so interested in his heart and why would grandpa tell me to help you?" She asked shaking off the water as her scales shined with a glossy glow and she smiled "I wonder why acid baths always did that to my scales" she said.

["Cosmos"]

not answering her as she asked, he dug a hole in the small island. placing the mossy heart in the hole, he buried it with the soil. "Toxia has requested of me to reawaken the Ancient Elementals of the Dragon Realms, and Arborick is the only one who knows where the Ancient Elemental of the Ancient Grove is. Elementals don't really die, so i needed his heart to allow him to be renewed," he spoke, as he sat on his hind legs. turning his head to watch the massive creature swim out into the ocean, he still marveled at how this grove was connected to the ocean, but remained its own body of water.

[Ixion]

"So he as snow will have his body back again" she nodded "Well good then I will help you, I'd like to actually talk to him once more" she smiled "And it would be nice to have an "escort" while my body takes adjusting to" she said with a smile.

["Cosmos"]

"Arborick won't be around for quick a while. he was defeated over five years ago, so he won't be awakening for at least a few weeks. at least Dante and Denta are keeping him sealed longer," he spoke, the last part in a quiet voice.

[Ixion]

"Wait what, why was killed for?" She asked raising a brow, he would never attack anyone without a good reason, but he was on of the stronger ancients she knew and he was defeated. This made her raise an eyebrow.

["Cosmos"]

"i'm not sure myself, but i think it had to do with Malefor's darkness that spread across the realms. i was barely a youngling, so i don't know much other then a guess, and what i've been told," he said, raising his head to look out upon the ledges that encompassed the rest of the grove. suddenly, he perked his head up at one of the ledges, as his sight came upon a ruff-looking rabbit-like creature. recognizing it instantly, he became excited and took flight towards it. landing lightly, he lowered his head to look at it evenly. while the rabbit-like creature was frightened at first, it recognized him too, and then rubbed its cheek against his, which made them both smile.

She smiled "Aww it's so cute" she said approaching it "Greetings small one" she said softly "Rabbits rarely come to anyone so I'm guessing this was a friend of yours?" She asked lowering her head.

["Cosmos"]

"i was born near here, and i befriended a large amount of the Ancient Grove. she was my first friend when i began to explore from my parents, and she was the one to save me," he said, smiling when he got onto his back with the rabbit-like creature on his chest. on the side of the lagomorph, a spot of red stained her fur, having permanently been dyed that color when she saved her friend from death. in a silent manner, he communicated with the lagomorph, smiling the whole time.

As Teresa watched she couldn't help but giggle as his nose twitched like a rabbits "Umm your nose is twitching" she said stifling her a laugh as she watched the two of them.

["Cosmos"]

staying silent until he has finished speaking with the lagomorph, he rolled onto his hind legs. using his wing as a sitting place for the lagomorph, he sat down as she laid in his arm. "when you grow up as a feral, you never forget the ways of the feral. anyway, it helps when communication is absolute," he said, as the lagomorph nuzzled against his chest. "9 years old and still a cute child. guess we'll both grow up into completely different shapes when we reach the age," he said, looking down at her with a sweet smile.

[Ixion]

She smiled "Well it's nice to see that others can treat those of nature like they should." she said with a smile "So about grandpa's heart where do we take it to?" she asked tilting her head "I'm assuming to this Toxia person?" she said figuring she would know a way to bring him back.

["Cosmos"]

"i have already done what i can do for Arborick. time is what it will take for now," he said, not looking at the dragoness. bringing his claw up to lightly scratch the lagomorph under the chin, he silently spoke to her about how her family was doing. listening to her, he grew sad at hearing that her family had been killed or vanished. telling her that she can come live with him, she snuggled against his chest in gratitude.

[Ixion]

"I see then what about the heart" she said indicating to it and then suddenly smiled looking about "Hello...there is an interesting specimen around here" she sniffed the air looking around "A dragon yet not fully a dragon" she looked back at the male "Wanna go take a look?" she asked a smile plastered on her face, this one's scent she caught is very unusual and unique and she wanted to know more.

So this was Ancient Grove, a legendary place known for being a paradise with secret dangers looking behind every tree and bush. The young adult dragon quietly soared over the tree tops of the said to be dangerous land, finding it a dangerous beauty all it's own. In fact, he didn't quite care if it was suppose to be a place to avoid he was curious about it and wanted to seek out more. And finally he saw what he had been looking for, a clearing in which to land.

Erebos soon circled downward in a spiral towards the clear and flared his feathered wings a few times before he landed carefully, causing the grass to sway slightly before they were folded. His blood red eyes took in the forest around him, being a place he likely could melt away into the shadows of. With his dark coloration it'd be no issue but he could definitely feel there was a kind of tension since he was an outsider, a likely foe the creatures of this grove couldn't trust. And already Erebos had spotted several eyes peeking out at him, seeing their intense, scrutinizing gazes upon the young dragon.

Though he merely took a deep breathe before heading through one way that was mostly clear and carefully began weaving his way around the trees. Being from a forest-covered land he was use to such terrain and had relatively no problem getting through and easily ducked around high branches and merely stepped over brushes. And it wasn't long before he found part of the poisonous river running through there. Stopping at it's edge and careful not to get any closer the young dragon looked around, trying to decide where else to go.
