"she'll be fine, just shaken from what happened," Azuris said, running his claw through the lagomorphs fur. looking towards where the device was, he felt something else at work with its usage.

"That thing...I think we had better find a way to destroy it" she said hovering "We can't let that thing exsist to do more damage and possible to the world."

"Only way we can destroy it is likely getting close to it. But we do that we're likely to get our souls taken unless we keep out of it's proximity." Erebos said, wondering just how they'd accomplish that without ending up lifeless husks littered about Ancient Grove. Not to mention they had the Pureblood Shadowseekers to worry about. "If either of you have an idea now might be the time to say something."

looking at the lagomorph, Azuris handed her to Teresa. walking past Erebos, he walked into the proximity of the device as a strange field emanated from it. gritting his teeth in pain, he pushed himself further into the field towards the device. after a minute, he stood right at it as his body was littered with agonizing pain. raising his claw stiffly, he plunged it deep into the device, destroying it. as the pain in his body began to fade, his claw bled horribly as he slowly pulled it out of the device.

As soon as the device was destroyed she walked over to him and took his claw "Hold still" natural green light had entered her palm and went to work using nature energy to heal the wound "Not many dragons would have the balls to do what you just did there Azuris" she said.

Erebos watched the older dragon move towards the device, frowning as he risked the pain and possible chance of his soul to destroy the device. It was quite a brave move though not something he would think was a possible chance and merely rolled his eyes at Teresa's words. As he came over to join them however, he suddenly came to a stop as he saw a few thunderbolts heading their way. Not all of the Shadowseekers had left.

"Stay close you two!" He called as he rushed over to be close enough, his eyes glowing slightly as he activated his psionic ability and sent out a dark blue psionic energy field that surrounded them in a dome pattern. The thunderbolts luckily deflected off this shield,showing quite a bit of strength behind it before Erebos growled and focused the energy into concentrated small spheres, roughly the size of bullets. "Let's see how you Purebloods like this!"He growled as he launched the small psionic bullets and began pelting the Shadowseekers until they finally left.

Though soon as that was done his eyes went back to normal and a draining feeling swept over his body causing the young dragon to have to crouch and panting slightly. Using just small bits of his psionic power wasn't much of an issue when protecting just himself or one other but when it came to more people and much larger allies it was obvious this power took it's toll as using such an amount was far more draining.

as the bleeding stopped in his claw, he flexed it several times as the Shadowseekers were driven back. turning his attention to the device, he picked through it until he found the core of it, a large and ominous crystal that was a disturbing black color. lifting it up and holding it to the light, he saw the souls the device had stolen swirling within it. growling, he began to squeeze the crystal until it began to crack, the lagomorph watching him, a little scared at the current situation.

Moving to Erebos she placed a paw on his head and chest as the light appeared again and started to to replenish his lost stamina "Not bad haven't seen pisonics like that since I was a child" she said as the energy grew as she focused on the restoration.

Erebos let Teresa restore his lost energy, watching Azuris from the corner of his eyes as he began taking care of the devices core. The disturbing color making him shudder inwardly at the fact so many had suffered at the hands of that device, who knew how many souls were in it but enough it was visible. "I wouldn't call this an accomplishment Teresa. I only use my psionics when the situation deems it, which in this case we were outnumbered and in need of some shielding, my manipulation of psionic energy may be strong but it drains me." He told her as he looked back at the dragoness.

Soon though his energy was restored and he carefully pushed himself up again, "Thank you for that though."He added, for now setting aside his initial annoyance before and deciding it wasn't worth dwelling on.

squeezing more on the crystal, he growled more as the cracks became larger. suddenly, the crystal shattered and a soul-wrenching scream filled the area as the souls within were set free. covering his head as the screams filled his mind, the lagomorph moved under his arm in fear, clutching at his wing-arm. as the souls faded away, the screaming began to die down until the regular sound of the Ancient Grove returned to normal.

"No I'm not saying that it was one, I haven't seen pisonics that strange since my day and age" she said as she covered her ears at the scream and shuddered "Rest for the those souls, they are finally able to go to the gardens."

Before Erebos could reply he too covered his ears from the screams that made his blood go cold from the sound, watching as they were set free and disappearing into Ancient Grove. Eventually the screaming stopped and he uncovered his ears, "It's just a rare thing now for those who control psionic energy anymore Miss Teresa. So not surprising you wouldn't see it for so long."He said with a shrug before he finally turned away. "Anyway I probably should be leaving you two be, you seemed up to something important so I won't bother you from here."He said as he began to move on.

"technically, i'm done with my business. i was here to return the Heart of Arborick to the Grove so he could return, and i have done that," Azuris said, standing up and picking up the lagomorph. turning around to start walking, he stopped and looked at Teresa. "what are you going to do, Teresa? you've only returned to the world of the living shortly ago, so i doubt your at full strength," he spoke, knowing that she couldn't be at a hundred percent yet.

She shook herself off "I'm going to find my daughter and head to the city of the lore to see my ex-mate" she said looking to the sky and nodded "Anyways it was nice to meet you two and i'm glad to see that not all the wired stuff in this world disappeared" she smiled and waved "Good bye and good lick you two" she said before raising into the air and like a lightning bolt sped off.

"Nice meeting you two as well I suppose." Erebos said, not quite familiar with the name of the Elemental but heard stories of him. For now though he didn't worry about it since he decided it was time to go after watching Teresa race off and he himself began heading deeper into the dark woods, his form almost seeming to melt right into the shadows.
