Lost On the Island

["Cosmos"]

laying his head down next to hers, Cosmosaura watched Teresa as she slept. trying to get to sleep several times, he found it near to impossible. as the moonlight crept through the curtains after breaking through the storm clouds, he lifted his head up, then shook his head as her heat effected him once again. "damn you, temptress," he said quietly, as he lightly climbed of the bed and gently removed his tail from hers. exiting his private chambers, he went to the room closest to his. opening the doors, he entered the completely empty room. getting to work, he began to place crystals along the walls of the room, working until morning.

The next morning she awoke lifting her head looking for him. When she didn't find him she but cringed in immense pain and collapsed back into the bed. Looking into a wet spot she found a large amount of blood and grimaced "COS *cough*" she suddenly began to cough as some blood sprayed from her mouth as she tried to stand once more to quickly find him.

as he finished the last of the crystal placement, Cosmosaura finally let out a sigh of relief as he looked around. finding it good at where each crystal was placed, he suddenly heard Teresa's voice as she coughed. "crap," he said, then hurried out of the room and ran into his chambers. seeing the blood, he ran over and quickly got to work channeling his Light to stop the bleeding. letting out a sharp whistle, several crystal spiders skittered into the chamber, carrying several packs filled with red and blue gems and crystal shards.

She laid there in agony as the blood tried to escape her body as he tried to stop it. Reaching out she grasped his paw and gripped it tight. She was afariad of dying agian. Afraid that this time she wont get a secound chance to watch her daugther grow up to have a normal life. She looked at him the fear evident in her eyes.

with one claw still channeling his Light into her to stall the bleeding, he used his other claw to grab gems and place them around the bleeding areas. with the spiders using small amounts of webbing to keep the gems in place. seeing that the bleeding wasn't stopping, he clenched his teeth as he cursed. "go get the artifacts!" he said quickly at the spiders, making them skitter quickly out to get what he wanted. using both of his claws to channel his Light, he was able to keep the bleeding to a minimum for the short time.

Tears had welled up into her eyes as she laid there "Please, please. I dont want to die again, please" she pleaded as tears rolled down her face "Please" her whole body shook as the bleeding stayed at a minimum but she was still losing alot of blood.

["Cosmos"]

"i won't let you die," he said, gritting his teeth as he pushed his Light further. hearing the spiders come into the chamber, he turned his head to see them with the artifacts. creating a sphere from his maw, he surrounded her in his healing Light. picking her up, he motioned to the spiders to follow with the objects of power as he opened the door to the Well. quickly running down the stairs, he placed her at the edge of the Well as the Light that surrounded her began to fade.

She cried out in agony once more as her wounds seared with pain and the light fading around her. Through her cloudy vision she could make out the well but was unable to move or act as wave after wave of unbearable pain assaulted her causing her to scream more. She reached out for Cosmosaura tears rolling down her face.

["Cosmos"]

grabbing her claw tightly when she reached out, he clenched his teeth. pointing to where to put the artifacts, he broke off several of the crystals that grew from his body. slamming them into the ground around her, Cosmosaura continued to tightly clench her claw in his as he prepared the use of the artifacts. "just hang in there just a little longer," he urged her, through clenched teeth.

[Ixion]

Her grip was weaking as she continued to loss blood and consciousness as she laid there clutching his claw the best she could. She was focusing her mind on her daughter and sisters using them to push her survival further. Her breathing became labored as she squeezed harder trying to keep her mind from slipping into darkness.

["Cosmos"]

"damn!" he nearly shouted, as he activated each of the artifacts. releasing a strange energy from each one, they swirled around her as they slowly seeped into her. staring at her scared, he felt her grip weakening with every few moments. once the last of the energies seeped into her, he quickly picked her up and carried her into the Well. hoping it wasn't too late, he submerged in the liquid energy. as it seeped into her and combined into the other energies. knowing she would be unconscious if she made it through, he shook with a scared shiver. "please, pull through. clench your grip," he spoke, looking at her with fear-filled eyes.

[Ixion]

As she was dipped she nearly lost herself in the blackness of her mind, Suddenly a voice entered her mind. Realizing it was Trish's and it was telling her to fight. Clenching her teeth she let out a terrifying roar even under the water and her paw clenched hard on his.

["Cosmos"]

seeing her roar under the surface of the Well, he brightened up when she clenched his claw. slowly bringing her out of the Well, she saw that the bleeding had stopped. "rest now. i will make you better," he said, surrounding her in a soothing Light. laying her down on the bank of the Well, he waited for her to go under.

[Ixion]

As soon as she saw his face she smiled and passed out in his arms. She slept soundly as she dreamed of the past days where she and her daughter would be playing in the gardens and her sisters watched along with Ixion. Days later she awoke and looked around the room tiredly wondering what time it was and noting she was hungry as hell.

["Cosmos"]

smiling as she looked at him and smiled, he was glad she was going to be okay when she passed out. making sure she was comfortable, he got to work on the difficult task of getting her better and altering her. using the energy that seeped into her from the artifacts to weaken her physical form, he molded her into her new form. for three days straight, he sat by her side, carefully and slowly molding her form. once it was finally done, he picked her up gently and carried her to his chambers.

closing behind him and sealing the Well once again, the spiders took the artifacts back to their places, as he laid her on the bed. tanking the constructs for having changed the bedding during the time, he got to work preparing a meal for Teresa, knowing she would be hungry. after making the meals and setting them next to the bed, he moved over to the balcony of his chamber. sitting outside as it started to rain, he feel asleep for the first time in a while. a few minute before she awoke, Cosmosaura fell over in his sleep, being pushed over by the wind that whipped at the balcony, not awakening him at all.
