[Ixion]

Ixion stayed by her side the whole time resting his head on her neck sighing sadly rubbing her neck and back humming a tune that he had always hummed when she was sad and always seemed to help calm her nerves and make her smile. When she was sleeping silently he picked her up and didn't notice the other shadow hop onto his tail and rode with him to the mortal realm. Laying his mate in the bed he felt the shadow on his tail and raised a brow.

["Cosmos"]

as the shadow looked up at him, a small face appeared on its surface as it smiled. knowing that it was a sad moment for Ixion and Martivir, the shadow began to creep across his scales. covering his body like a pre-padding before armor was placed on a knight, it began to connect to his very being, its surface shimmering as it did so. as the shadow connected with Ixion's soul, the Shadow that covered Martivir's body shimmered in response to the new Shadow, as Martivir curled in her sleep.

[Ixion]

He laid with his mate sighing as the shadow bonded with him as his mind touched it's "So do you have a name?" he asked it with curiosity as he rubbed his mates neck and kissed her head hoping she would wake soon.

["Cosmos"]

as the Shadow finished spreading across his body enough and bonding to his soul, a feminine voice giggled in his mind. "before this day, i never had a name. but by bonding with you, i now am my own Shadow. you may call me Ixiona," the feminine voice said, as the Shadow of Martivir shimmered, not in anger, but in acceptance.

[Ixion]

"Well its nice to meet you Ixiona...you do realize that im not a shadow lore right?" he asked rubbing his mate and looking at the shimmering of his own mates shadow that seemed to accept his new shadow that made black lines appear on his scale looking almost natural.

["Cosmos"]

giggling, Ixiona shimmered across his body. "the boundaries between the Lores has been broken. i could've bonded with a Dest if i wanted to," the feminine Shadow spoke, as it began to settle down. as Martivir's Shadow settled down, it soon joined her in sleep.

[Ixion]

He rested with his mate till the morning opening his eyes as he awoke himself and kissed his mate on the cheek "Martivir?" he asked quietly hoping that his voice would wake her up from her slumber.

["Cosmos"]

unable to hear his voice, she continued to sleep for many hours more. opening her eyes as the sunlight entered the room, she wiped away the tears that began to start in her eyes. not seeing Ixion or their children in the room, she noticed the sleeping two children that slept curled together near her. lightly picking them up and holding them in her embrace, she looked at them sadly as she laid with them, so sorry that she couldn't help save their parents.

[Ixion]

Ixion returned to the room with some food that Ixiona was helping carry and sat it down next to her and the children laying by her side "Are you ok?" he asked softly rubbing his mate's neck hoping his voice would help her calm herself down so she could speak at the very least.

["Cosmos"]

looking up as Ixion came in, she didn't smile despite his voice. "sorry, but i won't be okay for a while," she said, still holding the sleeping children. looking at them, tears welled up in her eyes, but she didn't start to cry, having cried too much for the last couple days.

[Ixion]

He leaned on her holding one of her paws looking at the children "I promise we'll take the best of care of them like they were our own" he said mostly to himself and hoping that wherever Rygat and Cloyee were that they some how heard his voice and he looked at his mate "I know it will take a while my love but I will always be here for you" he said looking into her eyes.

["Cosmos"]

"thank you, my love," she spoke, still looking at her brother's children. thinking of first that her father, then her brother, her family was dying before her, leaving her alone. watching them shift in her embrace and curl themselves around each other, Martivir closed her eyes as she refrained herself from crying again.

[Ixion]

Before she could start crying he started to sing the song that always smiled holding her paw as the two children shifted and smiled in their sleep he continued to sing the melody in his tongue and voice rubbing his mates neck with his other paw.

hearing the song, she didn't smile, since her sadness was too great. laying the children down softly, she jumped off the bed and left the room, saying nothing. making her way to the bathing chamber, she slipped into the furthest bath and sat in the steaming water, just looking at the water as it grew still.

[Ixion]

Ixion sighed and covered the children in a blanket and followed his mate to the baths and slipped in with her "Darling please talk to me" he said looking into her eyes placing a gentle loving claw on her face.
