"Guess I better be quick then at least,"Rapier chuckled as he nuzzled her neck as he spread one of his over Trish to cover her and help warm her up a bit more. Least they could relax for a while before they would come across her family again.

She purred and smiled "My birth mom would like you" she said smiling knowing Teresa would be all over the chance to meet her daughter's mate and asking a million questions and what not "My birth mom is Teresa my step mother is Martivir" she said smiling.

"You must have quite the family,"Rapier chuckled since the more he listened to her the more it seemed he learned about Trish and Ixion. From the sounds of it they had quite a large family while most dragons were lucky to have that many offspring at all.

[Ixion]

"Not to mention i have so many half siblings as well" she said with a smile and yawn and snuggled close to him "Tomorrow if I can feel my legs we'll go home so we can spread the good news dear" she said. She was a few feet smaller than her and fit perfectly in the spot inside his little circle.

"Well we'll see how you feel after some rest,"Rapier agreed, having seen she still barely could move or was still rather sore after their first mating. Luckily though he was a patient dragon despite what others saw in his appearance and he curled around Trish once more, resting his head on the ground for the time being.

[Ixion]

She was about to lay her head down on his but stopped looking at the spikes as she poke them "Eh this might cause a few problems" she said rubbing his head and a few spikes and she finally lifted his head and laid hers under his smiling.

Tilting his head slightly the bloodred dragon nodded as it was one thing he couldn't help with his physiology, "Unfortunately it's something I was always born with Trish. It's permanent and well I can't retract them or anything of that sort." He said as he rested his head on her's instead and relaxing slightly.

[Ixion]

She smiled and close her eyes "Mmm then i gotta be careful not to try to tackle you on your back then" she said with a giggled her tail slipping around his under the spike and she was close to his "Mmmm toasty" she said with a purr.

"Well that's one good thing about so many spikes, hard to get a sneak attack on me unless from a distance." Rapier chuckled as he smiled and rested beside his mate and keeping curled up around her.

[Ixion]

She was finally asleep and snoring softly with him close to her body. In the morning she was yawning and she stood smiling having the feeling in her legs back she stretched her legs out smiling spreading her normal wings as well.

Throughout the night Rapier was on and off with sleep, finding himself someone more hyper alert then he usually was. It was a strange feeling but deep down he knew with his mate at the moment vulnerable he felt more protective of Trish until she would be at a point she would be fine and by the time morning came he was only half asleep until he felt movement and blinked a few times. "Your looking better,"He said with a smile, yawning widely before he stood and stretched slightly.

[Ixion]

She smiled and looked back "I feel better" she said with a smile and licked his cheek and shaking her body her silk like fur mane shaking with her and she looked up and frowned "Looks like a storm is coming in...a bad one we are going to have to find some cover before nightfall" she said looking back at him with a smile "C'mon lazy bones up and at em." she said jokingly.

"Well then, guess we better make haste with our flying to at least get somewhere before we have to land. Though with how large this place is we might get some good distance." Rapier said as he glanced towards the gathering clouds and chuckling, "Who you calling lazy bones? I'm ready to go."He teased back as he spread his large scaled wings, "But question is are you?"

[Ixion]

She smirked and with a quick leap she was high in the sky flapping her wings as she looked down at him "Yea im ready I can fly for days straight and be only mildly tired" she said as she hovered in the air above him waiting for him to follow.

"That makes two of us,"Rapier chuckled as he pushed off the ground and took flight, soaring around Trish a few times. "Now let's outfly that storm while we can shall we?" He said with a grin before he flew off in the opposite direction of the storm and heading far as he could before the storm would become too bad.
