When young dragons cross paths(Ixion)

She followed him with a laugh and flew side by side of him and looked at him "So how old are you?" she asked with a smile, he looked young so he couldn't be older than her than a few years.

"Hm, at least twenty two years old I'd guess. I never really kept track of the years since I could remember, after a while time just seems to blend together when you struggle to survive on your own." Rapier said, taking an estimated guess how long he had been upon this world. Every year had seemed to pass by him without him really thinking about it, just living day to day and struggling on his own and to learn things as he went but it was the best estimate he could give. He just knew one thing for sure: he was about fully grown by now. "How about you?"He asked as he looked towards the young purple dragoness.

[Ixion]

When she heard his age a slight blush appeared on her face at first she thought about lying but sighed knowing that would only cause trouble "I'm seventeen" she said as she looked at him sheepishly to see his reaction to how young she was rather than how much older than she looked.

Rapier glanced towards Trish for a long moment as they flew before he looked forward again, "I see. Well it's not unheard of dragons your age being mated to dragons around my own age Trish, let's just hope your father will understand." He said, not really looking surprised honestly. He had come across some dragons who had an age difference yet they were happy together and things seemed to work out still if he saw them a second time but he just hoped this would be the case between them.

[Ixion]

"The thing is my dad has this whole thing of must be at least two year difference or non at all type of thing when it comes to his children" she said and sighed "Let's just hope aunt Lilly and Martivir can hold him down long enough for you to gain some ground and for him to calm down" she said with a nervous chuckle.

"If it comes to a fight then I'll face the consequences Trish, mean not really something we can avoid." Rapier said despite not wanting for things to come to that. A sigh escaped him as he had come to respect Ixion and this to suddenly come up would certainly put a rift in things probably in the coming future. But he didn't have these spikes just for show, he knew if Ixion tried attacking him on just about most parts of his body the amber dragon would be facing some serious wounds.

[Ixion]

"Oh yes about your spikes, I dont think they would help either when dad goes Dest his scales are harder than diamonds" she siad rubbing her head as they flew "Your best bet and survival would be to out run my dad untill her cools off and we can have a nice chat....as long as he is restrained" she said with a giggled as she flew with him.

"I think you underestimate my spikes my dear, since my spikes become sharper and tougher in my own Dest form. Training with it it easily has chipped through crystals I've come across from time to time so I think we'd have to see and unfortunately I'm not exactly one to back down from a fight...despite not being that big on conflict." Rapier said with a shrug, thinking his new mate was jumping to conclusions on that. True he wasn't all for getting into a fight on purpose unless provoked but that didn't mean he didn't have confidence in his own abilities.

[Ixion]

"Dest form!?" she looked at him shockingly "Your a lore dragon?" she asked looking at him as her wings helped keep them in front of the storm that was slowly gaining on them now.

"Trish what do you think that form I showed you was? That was my Dest Form, I first learned of it back when I was still in Valhalla." Rapier said as he looked towards her, though he seemed to frown a bit. "And no, I am only part Lore Dragon. Or some bit of lore dragon, I don't know how much is in my lineage for certain and the other one is Necro dragon which is why I am so spiky."He told her.

[Ixion]

She bluhsed and rubbed her head "Oh yea" when she heard what else he was saying she raised a brow looking at him and nodded "I see well we can try to find out more of your lineage later" she said with a soft smile.

"Knowing some of my lineage is better than none Trish, it's the main reason I went to Valhalla to begin with and I am satisfied with what I've found so far." Rapier assured her as he flew, flapping his wings slightly as they flew but looked back when he heard the thunder roaring behind them.

[Ixion]

Looking back at the approaching storm she smiled as she spot a mountain side cliff far ahead and with a single beat of her wings she shot forward without warning her body in a full out sprint to the mountain.

A chuckle escaped Rapier as he watched his new mate take off ahead, knowing she'd easily outrace him either way. One drawback of being such a large dragon was he was slower than some and Trish was one of them, which meant he likely couldn't keep up with her that easily as he may have wanted to but he could sometimes push himself to be as fast as his body would allow. Though a mane of charcoal black spikes usually didn't help in the terms of wind resistance either on his part. So by the time he was joining Trish the storm was already just on top of them but he managed to avoid being struck by any lightning and landed with a heavy thud of his feet before folding in his wings.

She was already by the cave and beckoned him to come inside as she went further in smiling and looked back at him her tail swaying back and forth "Well at least its dry and we have a place to rest up" she said as she found some wall moss and tore it down to make a large bed for the two of them as she smiled back at him. Her purple eyes watching him softly.
