When young dragons cross paths(Ixion)

"Indeed, but..."Rapier began to sniff around slightly finding some vines that were creeping along the wall, something that could be found in such lush places as Tall Plains. Using his claws and spikes he began scrapping them away from the walls until he was satisfied with the amount he accumulated before pushing it near where they would rest. When finished he went about sniffing for decent sized rocks until he found enough that could make a circle around the pile of vines and some leaves from them before letting out a small fireball that burst the vines into flames and lit up the cave while also giving off warmth. "Now we can also be warm."He said with a smile.

With a giggle she laid in the bed with a plop and smiled comfortably as she looked at him and beckoned him to lie down with her and snuggle. She had left enough room for him to come curl himself around her. Laying her head down to watch the fire as it burned she felt the warmth and smiled pleasurably as it felt good rather than the cold rain that was falling around outside.

Rapier smiled as he came to join Trish, moving to lie beside her and curl around her. Though as before he was careful not to let her end up accidently harmed by his spikes as he snuggled beside the purple dragoness and relaxed as he listened to the sound of the rain outside. Being in a cave again though made the young dragon somewhat miss his home back at Twilight Falls, the only place he had known for the longest time before he had the courage to leave his little corner of the world to see the rest of the world. And so far it had been quite a journey and he doubted he'd be returning any time soon.

Smiling she rested with him and closed her eyes and placed a paw on his leg as she slowly fell asleep her mind began to wonder and dream of her new mate and the future as she saw herself as a dragoness with wonderful children and a mate she loved. In her dream she rested her head on his should avoiding the spikes as she sighed happily.

Rapier smiled as he watched Trish fall asleep,deciding to remain awake and watch over his new mate while he contemplated how their future might be together. So far though the spiked red dragon was quite satisfied to find a mate when he never thought he would because of his appearance or never really exploring the world. Though it was quite ironic really. It was ironic because Trish happened to be the daughter of the amber dragon who had helped him quite a bit, and he hadn't really gotten to thank Ixion before so if he ever did come across the amber dragon he hopes Ixion would not only hear him out but also take a moment to let him say his thanks.
