Cypreus glanced towards where the bolt hit and raised his head, the ground seeming to react to the action and rise up to create a barrier of sorts just in case more bolts would hit. Turning his attention back to her he was a little surprised at this, "A broodmother huh, haven't come across one in a while. Well years really, good hundred or so at best."He said before shaking his head, "Sorry little off topic for a second, but will this be your first clutch of eggs?"He asked curiously.

placing a claw to her chin, she tried to remember. "i think i have had around seventh clutches already, and those are just the draconic offspring. with an unnatural accelerated birthing cycle, i have forgotten how many offspring i have had with my maidens," she spoke, smiling. looking at Cypreus, she spoke, "i am the last of the Vampire Dragons, and so any children i have will share my blood."

"Ah, a matter of restoring your species then is what it sounds like. But still that is pretty impressive if you can't remember how many, though it is a positive aspect to look at in the long run."Cypreus said with a nod glancing at her for a moment before shrugging. "As for my kind, haven't really seen any other copper dragons so not really sure how many of my kind there are."He said.

"maybe," she said, listening to him. when he said he had really hadn't seen another Copper Dragon, she thought of something. "you know, i think i have seen a Copper Dragoness. i believe she is one of my many maiden in the safety of the Ebonic Mountains," she said, looking up to the sky.

"Is that so? Be the first time I've seen another copper dragon, even my father and mother weren't of any copper coloration more of a brown and blue hues." Cypreus said with some surprise but was somewhat glad to hear he might not be the only copper dragon out there. Then again it was hard to know when one lived the life of a loner, a hermit perhaps being the better term.

Glancing towards the sky he let out a soft sigh, "Looks like we might be here a while, least until the storm subsides enough that it's not too dangerous to fly. Challenging enough to have a passenger and a storm at the same time."He commented.

as she listened to him, Convexia continued to look to the sky. suddenly, she saw something that made her smile. "i don't think we will be here for much longer. that is, if your okay with a little storm-hopping?" she spoke, as one of the lightning strikes struck the ground and made a strange scorch mark in the mud.

"Hm, I don't mind some storm hopping. Really, I'm all for braving a storm period if I have the strength and right now I'm far from being tired."Cypreus said, watching her smile appear and beginning to wonder what she was so happy about. "Though just because you have me curious, why do you ask?"

looking at him, Convexia pointed at the strange scorch mark from the last strike. "i asked cause the Storm Sisters have found me. they are one of my favorite twins," she said, smiling as she thought of the Storm Sisters.

Cypreus glanced towards the scorch mark, realizing it was indeed strange as he'd seen scorch marks from lightning before but this one certainly was odd. Glancing to the barrier he made Cypreus let the hardened earth lower back to the ground before glancing back towards Convexia, "And you are certain they will help?"He asked her. He still had some caution about him, having still been getting use to being around someone who he discovered was no longer evil but also still being something of a cautious kind of dragon.

"i have know the Storm Sisters for a hundred years, and trust them with my life. they would give their lives for me, though i would not want them too," Convexia said, standing up weakly with the help of the tree. limping over to the scorch mark, she turned towards him. "you wanna come with me?" she asked, holding out her claw to him.

Cypreus watched Convexia getting up weakly, wondering if she really should be traveling when she was still weak from her leg. But what did surprise him was her offer to come along with her, making him somewhat hesitant as he'd found himself comfortable in this part of the Dragon Realms, having found the Swamp more of a peaceful place to avoid much contact with civilization. "Suppose I could for a little while." He finally answered, pushing himself up and shaking himself a bit before walking to the scorch mark and resting a paw onto the one she offered him.

smiling at him as he took her claw, a massive lightning bolt engulfed both of them. as they vanished as the storm calmed slightly, a single lightning bolt seemed to jump across the sky. within minutes, the lightning bolt crossed over several realms.

as two female dragons stood in the courtyard of a ruined fortress, they watched the approaching lightning bolt. near the entrance, a few females stood next to a statue of a robed warrior. in the middle of the females, a Copper Dragoness sat, with a strange-looking creature that resembled a harpy that had a blindfold on. soon, the lightning bolt crashed in front of the two females, which materialized Convexia and Cypreus in an instant.

opening her eyes, Convexia smiled at the Storm Sisters. "thank you for finding me," she said, as she laid down to get off her wounded leg.

Cypreus had to force himself not to flinch when the lightning bolt struck around them yet felt no pain when a true lightning bolt should have done such a thing. Instead the large dull copper dragon found himself being transported to some place unknown. Honestly, he wasn't knowing what to expect when they arrived to their destination as several things could happen and it would be strange now to be away from some place he had found calling home.

And just like that within a short amount of time, after crossing several part of the realms, they found themselves in a courtyard to a ruined fortress. Though Cypreus had to blink his eyes a few times to let them adjust after that travel, turning his head from side to side in confusion to where they were and what exactly had just happened with this little travel. Teleporting of any kind was knew and he was not exactly one to have tried it so this was taking a little bit to get his stomach to catch up with the rest of his body, and maybe even his wits. However, this feeling lasted for only a moment as he looked at all those gathered that were more than likely the maidens the vampiric dragon had spoken of.

And as Convexia had mentioned he spotted the copper dragoness among them but for now he was trying to figure out where the heck they were. "Uh, Convexia where exactly are we?"He asked her, glancing to where she lied down nearby.

"we are in the Ebonic Mountains, near the border that leads to the Blizzard Wastes of the North. this fortress once was a defense for an ancient city. it is also a great place to be away from those that would cause harm, and its a good place to help those that have been wronged by the world," she said, as a few of the maidens moved over to her and looked over her leg. helping her up, her maidens helped her towards the entrance to the fortress. turning her head to Cypreus, she spoke, "the Storm Sisters will be your guides until i return. and be nice to her." as she was taken to her personal chambers, her maidens worked on her leg.

as the Storm Sisters walked up to him, they gave him a little bow. "shall we show you around?" they asked, as the harpy-like creature walked with the Copper Dragoness towards him.

"I'm afraid I'm not quite familiar with this place."Cypreus said before Convexia was taken inside to get her leg looked at. Unfortunately it was true for Cypreus, he had never before heard of these mountains but he faintly recalled something of the Blizzard wastes but he was more knowledgeable of the other parts of the realms than anywhere else. So a tour would definitely help to give him more insight on this location than walking around blindly.

Turning his attention towards the two sisters, guessing they were the Storm Sisters and the ones who had teleported them there. "Yes please, that'd be a great help thank you." Cypreus said politely, giving a slight bow of his head, before looking back at them and noticing the copper dragoness approaching next along with a creature that looked like the creatures known as harpies.
