Lost On the Island

watching Teresa walk into the mirror and disappeared, he took a deep breath and walked forwards. passing through the mirror, he opened his eyes to see the chamber his ancestors had sealed away from the world. looking around quickly at the walls of the chamber, he let out a sigh of relief as he saw the seal was still as strong as ever. "now, where is this person you wanted me to meet, dear?" he asked, looking around after looking at her.

"MOM!" came a shout as Teresa turned and was tackled by a younger purple dragoness who had a fur mane with quills in it "OH mom I missed you so much!" she said as Teresa hugged her daughter.

"Oh Trisha I longed to hug you again" she said as tears came to her eyes and smiled indicating to the sky blue dragon "Trisha this is your step father Cosmosaura" she said as Trish looked at him.

Trish walked up to him and extended a claw "Nice to meet you I'm Trisha" she said tilting her head as many features similar to her mothers could be seen.

watching the younger dragoness emerge from the foliage and tackled Teresa, Cosmosaura just stood there as he watched. listening to them, he saw the family resemblance easily. "a pleasure, Trisha," he said, taking her claw into his. at the contact with this young dragoness, he was suddenly struck with a severe weakness and nearly lost conscious. breaking the contact, he backed away quickly as a claw-like burn mark appeared where he had shook Trisha's claw. clenching his teeth in pain, he clutched his wrist tightly.

Teresa and Trish rushed forward as Teresa used some of her nature powers to heal the burn mark as Trisha freaked out about what happened "OH ancestors i'm sorry..I dont know why that happened"

"Trisha please calm down darling, Cosmosaura what happened do you have any idea?" she asked looking at him worriedly healing the burn mark and Trish watching shamefully.

["Cosmos"]

breathing heavily as Teresa tried to heal the burn mark, he looked at Trisha. "she is what you are not," Cosmosaura said, through his heavy breathing. nearly falling over, he leaned against the rock as the weakness took hold of him. placing his other claw over the large scar on his chest that was over his heart, he tried to control his breathing. after a minute, his breathing finally came down enough to breath normally. "don't blame yourself Trish, it isn't your fault," he said, giving her a weak smile.

As Teresa healed the burn mark she was slightly disturbed at what he said "What do mean?" she asked as Trish watched and hearing him say that she smiled and bowed her head.

"He maybhe refrring to the pheniox blood mom" ehe said watching the burn mark wlowly disappearing resisting the urge to heal him herself.

shaking his head when Trisha spoke of Phoenix Blood, he pointed to her chest. "Primal Blood, that is what caused this. i'll be fine though, as long as i don't touch you again," he said, clenching his claw tightly as the pain was still stinging. leaning his head back, he groaned as his body felt years older then it actually was.

"Damn now how do i hug my srepfather?" she said sittng back "What about mom why can she touch you?" Trish asked looking at her "And why do you look soooo different?" she asked causing Teresa to chuckle.

"I think Cosmosaura should explain that" she said

looking at Teresa, he shook his head. "no, i think it best if you try to. how much more can i explain that you can say yourself," he spoke, as he looked at Trisha. "i'm sorry, but i don't know if we can make any physical contact, at least without lethal consequences," he said, feeling a little saddened by the truth.

"Perhaps...maybe you can" Teresa said as she stood up "I'll be right back!" she said running through the mirror. Moments later she came back with a new crystal necklace and placed it over her daugthers neck "Trish darling do you feel a slight tingle in the back of your neck?"

Upon hearing this Trish nodded "Yea but it's barely there why" Teresa smiled at her mate.

watching Teresa leave, then return with the necklace, he raised an eye-ridge as she placed it on her daughters neck. tilting his head slightly, he remained silent as he listened and watched.

"alright now lightly touch him with your nail" she said standing back as Trish did so, instead of the burn it was instead warm to the touch and she looked at her mom in shock and she looked at Cosmosaura "I took a small chip of the nullification gem and made it into the necklace. I figured if it worked for me then it would work for her" she said with a smile at her mate.

feeling the warm feeling when Trisha touched him, a strange feeling that he had nearly forgotten entered his mind. blinking his eyes several times as Teresa spoke, he remembered no such gem inside the temple. looking at the crystal necklace closer, he suddenly realized what the shard came from. smiling, he placed his claw over his face. "so you found my old gem? there isn't any nullification gems in the temple confines, dear. you found my old Void Resonance Gem," he said, grabbing Trisha's wrist lightly and pulling her into a hug.

Trish smiled and hugged her step father back "Hehe finally!" she said with a laugh and Trish wrapped her wings around both of them and hugged her new mate and daughter "Oh yes Trish sooner or later your gonna have even more siblings." she said causing her to stare at her wide eyed mouth open.

smiling at them both, he couldn't help but laugh when Teresa spoke. "actually, it will be sooner then later. that is a fact," he said, a matter of fact sense in his voice. bringing his cheek to his new mate, he nuzzled her cheek.
