Awakening an ancient warrior(Open)

Finally pushing his thoughts aside Argyros looked at his wings, wondering if he was even strong enough yet to fly. He was nervous of trying but he had to, he had found he could walk normal again after several hours and now he crouched, figuring it was time to give it a test run as his wings spread slightly. Pushing off roughly with his powerful legs Argyros began flapping his wings hard a few times before he finally got some altitude and for a while he seemed to be doing fine. But that was a short few minutes before Argyros felt his wings beginning to ache and tire, making the crystal dragon sigh as he quickly landed back in town before he would crash. "Guess it'll be some time before I'm flying."

growling as she ejected the last of her negative magical energy in the blast, she shook her body as energy arced off her the protrusions on her back. moving to the door, she opened the door and walked out of the building. walking over to the place Argyros was encased, she looked over the area and picked up several shards of crystal. holding them in her wing-claw, she sat down as several villagers watched her as they passed.

After he had landed safely Argyros folded his wings and began heading to where he had been imprisoned in his own crystal, coming to stand next to Zhatriana as he picked up a large piece of the crystal shards. "You know, back then I didn't think the last stand I had would result in this happening but I did this out of a last ditch effort to stop the hordes of apes going after this village. I don't know if I was ever successful but seeing the village thriving makes me have hope it did something."He said to her, before tossing the shard away with a sigh.

looking at him, Zhatriana opened a small pouch and dropped the shards into it. "(it took some time, but as you can see, it did help. the Shattered Vale has taken the least amount of chaos, so its pretty much peaceful here,)" she said, handing the pouch to him. turning to him, she asked, "(do you have anywhere that you may go until your fully rested? or do you have more questions that i may answer?)"

"Seems that way,"Argyros said as he took the pouch but shook his head, "Not really. Suppose the best place to go is returning to the Dragon Temple where I was born or Concurrent Skies, harsh place but one of the easiest places to make a good use of defense and attacking places. As for questions, right now I don't have any but I may eventually have some."He answered her, at the moment unable to think of anything else to ask her but did have one. "Though these Shadowseekers, what should I expect from them?"He asked.

"(there difficult to kill, and heal fast. they will either try to feast on you, or change you into a Shadowseeker. other then that, the only advice i can give is attack once and run. if they don't follow you, then they are a freshly turned Shadowseeker,)" she spoke as her tail waved back and forth as the breeze washed over her. suddenly, her tail touched his, sending her mind flashing with images of a location. grabbing her head, she shook her head as the last images was that of a dragon similar to Argyros.

Argyros listened carefully, wanting to have as much information as he could about these Shadowseekers and nodding slightly, but knew there might be times he might have to fight. Keeping this in mind the crystal dragon made note of training when he was fully recovered so he wasn't an easy target for a Shadowseeker. Though when their tails met he wasn't aware of what happened for Zhatriana and actually thought nothing of it as he enjoyed the nice breeze that went by, but when he noticed her sudden reaction he looked at her with concern once more, "Zhatriana, something wrong?"He inquired.

breathing slightly heavy, she opened her eyes to look at him. "(i saw a temple, on an island in the Sea of Storms. the last few images, i saw a dragon that was covered in crystals. he looked similar to you, but i can't say for sure,)" she said, rubbing her head. as the arcane energy ceased sparking off her back, she looked away towards the sky.

Hearing about the island Argyros a little intrigued at hearing this but knew it might not be wise to go near the Sea of Storms. He had heard rumors about such a sea, the storms there were violent and could potentially kill a dragon if they had the unlucky fortune of hitting the storms at their worse or ending up lost and confused. "I did hear the Elders say there were likely others of my kind, but if there were they usually were always hiding."He said to her as he looked towards what remained of the plaza before stepping close and resting his paw where he once was trapped. Closing his eyes he began to channel his energy into the ground and the little bits of crystal that remained, combining the two to form a rather large crystal formation,the largest being in the middle with smaller ones surrounding it and taking his paw away. "Think that should be a fitting replacement."

looking at the replacement, she nodded in agreement. "(i don't think this Crystal Dragon was hiding. it was more like he could not leave this island temple. anyway, if you need help there, i can help you. i have been able to fly through storms without much problem, even with others,)" she said, looking at the new statue. feeling that such a place as this island temple would be difficult to find at all, she has been able to find harder places.

"I see,"Argyros said with a nod as he watched the villagers look an awe at the new replacement crystal before he glanced at Zhatriana, considering seeing this island before he gave a slight nod. "Suppose it couldn't hurt to try, I'm not in a hurry anywhere since I still have to recover and really don't know what to do from here."

"(well, we can head out tomorrow. i need more rest before i can access any of my magics to help you travel,)" she said, standing up. before she moved, her stomach gurgled loudly as she had forgotten how long ago she had actually eaten anything. smiling slightly at him, she pointed to an inn. "(lets go get something to eat first. i'm guessing your hungry too, after so long away,)" she said, beginning to walk.

"Sounds fine to me."Argyros said but as she said that he was about to say he was fine until he heard his stomach growl and closed his mouth, "I stand corrected." He said as he stood and began following Zhatriana, knowing this would be his first meal in the last thirty five hundred years, which meant he might be working up quite the food bill.

giggling as she listened to him, Zhatriana came up to the doors to the inn. "(don't worry about the bill, i'll pay for it all,)" she said with a smile, opening the door and motioning for him to enter first. almost the moment she opened the door, her smell was assaulted by the delectable scents of food, which made her mouth water.

Argyros nodded as he followed after Zhatriana, feeling bad he didn't have any money to help but also knew he didn't have any supplies to begin with now that he was freed. Though his mind had been on the fact there was another possible dragon like him it soon was forgotten as the aroma of food attacked his nose and his mouth watered as well to the point he was almost drooling. It had been ages since his last meal and he began to recall that the last he ate was just three days before he became encased in his own crystal and now couldn't wait to dig into the food.
