"I see,"Argyros glanced back towards the snake-like creature, knowing it would have to be taken care of soon enough but that was when he looked back at Zhatriana. Time again? Time for what? This made him look quizzically at her, "What do you mean "it's time again" Zhatriana? time for what?"He asked her.

looking at him, she lifted her claw weakly and lifted up some of her scales to reveal a mark of decay. "(the Necro Hunt. it is a hunt that takes place every five hundred years to decide the leader of Necropolis,)" Zhatriana said, laying her wing-arm back down. "(no matter where the current leader is, the hunters will know where the leader is," she spoke, letting out a sigh.

"Then you are the leader of this Necropolis?"Argyros asked, moving to see the decayed mark which made him shudder to see anyone suffer from such a thing. But he was very much on the alert and kept eyeing around the room once in a while as they talked, showing he was not a stranger to having to keep an eye out for things.

"(yes, i am the current leader of Necropolis. and you can relax, no other hunters are coming today. its a rule that only one hunter can attack at a time,) Zhatriana spoke, turning her gaze to the assassin. "(and don't worry about the Mark of Decay. it is painless and none harmful. its just a sign that i have resided within the walls of Necropolis for a long time,)" she spoke, taking a deep breath.

"If your certain, never hurts to be on the look out."Argyros said, having learned that several times and usually rarely dropped his guard before he glanced back at her with a nod. "I see, guess I'll take care of the assassain then, unless something happens after they are defeated."He said, taking a few steps towards the now dead being.

"(please, leave it be for now. i knew him, and i owe him quite a lot for taking care of my daughter in my past. let his body rest, like he was never able to,)" Zhatriana spoke, as she looked at the snake-like being as its body began to turn to dust. closing her eyes, she remembered her past when she was so young compared to her present age. "(rest well, my friend, and i'm sorry,)" she spoke softly as its body turned fully to dust.

Looking back at Zhatriana Argyros nodded softly before stepping back again, going silent as he let her have her moment with the now dead assassain and watching as he turned to dust. It was kind of sad and disturbing but he didn't say anything disrespectful, hearing the fact it sounded that Zhatriana had known the being well.

"(i hope my daughter will be happy to see her mate again after so many millennia,)" she said to herself, opening her eyes. looking at Argyros, she motioned for him to sit down and relax. "(when you have lived for as long as i have, you'll understand that there will be a lot of hardships. even though they never feel any different, it gives clarity of what lies ahead,)" she spoke, more from experience then just words.

"We all have different hardships Zhatriana, I may not have as much years behind my back as you but doesn't mean I haven't had my own."Argyros said as he came back over and sat beside her, looking in more full health than he had much earlier. "Unfortunately, losing a loved one is hard to share with you since I've never known any family. I was born at the Dragon Temple so long ago and never heard anything from them nor ever saw them." He told her honestly, glancing back at the dragoness as he could only shrug. "I can't really say much for losing friends either."

"(then your lucky. i watched the birth, the life of my daughter, and held her claw as she died of old age. i witnessed her daughter, and granddaughter follow her in the same way, each with a smile on their face. for over eight thousand years, i have watched love ones die, friends pass on, and entire eras pass me by. through all of it, i have outlived all of it, despite all of the things i have gone through. so, you are lucky to have a long life ahead of yourself, since life is actually easier to live since Malefor was taken care of,)" she spoke, closing her eyes. bringing her tail close to her body, she grabbed it weakly and held it close to her body, just like she did in her extremely young age, and what her daughter did too.

"I think your lucky to have had all that to be honest. It's still hard to not know who my family is or where I truly come from, that to me has been the hardest part in my life but I learned to accept and live with it. It's all I can really do and I've become more of a loner so it's not hard for me to avoid not making close ties." Argyros said after listening. Much as it might not be obvious he did still feel a bit down that he never knew his family and might never. He still desired to know where he came from but there was no chances of that as most crystal dragons hid away.

"(well, let us both hope you find some good news and maybe some knowledge when you find that other Crystal Dragon,)" Zhatriana said, as she rolled over onto her back. placing her claw on her belly, she rubbed her bulge as she still held her tail.

"Hopefully, but I'm not crossing my claws on that one."Argyros said, having some doubt in his voice as he wasn't so certain he'd find many answers to what he wanted. For now he shook his head as he glanced back at the dragoness, "But for now it might be best you get some rest Zhatriana, you haven't been looking so well for a while."

"(yeah, my body isn't used to giving birth. in my entire life, this will be my second child,)" Zhatriana said, as she weakly repositioned herself and pulled the covers over her body. laying her head on the pillow, she closed her eyes and went to sleep almost instantly. resting peacefully, she had no bad dreams, with her dreams were filled surprisingly with good dreams.

Argyros nodded before she was asleep but he didn't feel like sleeping. His entire body and mind were fully alert and awake, likely not letting him sleep since he had been in such a stasis like "sleep" for thirty five hundred years and he wasn't looking to sleep yet. With racing thoughts and his senses fully alert he stayed awake to fully watch over Zhatriana and letting his thoughts go over today's events.
